超好味熱狗三文治!
Hero Sandwich
2011-07-30
…Read More

Hero 又來了.
Hero Sandwich
2010-06-02

My Hero
Hero Sandwich
2010-04-10
A Hero was born in our neighborhood, and it is called Hero Sandwich. Finally a place where I would keep revisiting. I tried their Hero's Dog sandwich, and it is absolutely delicious. The dressing of the sandwich tasted great and it is very nice and hot. The portion is a bargain comparing to their price, and the decor is stylish and comfortable. They have an open bar kitchen, so you could see how your sandwich is being made right on the spot. I am so excited of the fact that a quality restaurant like Hero is so near my house.\\Highly recommended and I will definitely try to go back everyday with friends.…Read More

I don't get it
Cambo Cafeteria
2010-03-03
I don't understand how this restaurant got so many positive comments at all. Their beef noodle is really unbearable. The beef is so hard and unfresh that it looked like it has been stored for ages and cooked really hard. The noodles is so moist, that it will fall apart once you have your chopstick stiring around the soup. The soup however tasted the same as everyone where. I would recommend this restaurant in the food court at all as I thought everyone else should try different things than this inedible noodle. …Read More

Good Milk tea
Lan Fong Yuen
2010-03-01
Craving for a cup of good milk tea, where else to look for a traditional cup of hk style milktea than Lan Fong Yuen. Their ice milk tea is also very smooth and very rich in taste. I have also ordered their condensed milk bun and a plate of friend instand noodles. This restaurant is a bit of expensive for the food and enviorment but most of the people come for its fame and their famous milk tea+ HK style food. …Read More

Good Wontons
Tsim Chai Kee Noodle (Wellington Street)
2010-02-26
Tsim Chai Kee is always packed with people during lunch time in Central because their food offers pretty good value. Their wonton noodles is good plus their wontons are like the size of a ping pong for only $17 (Pretty cheap in Central I would say, however it was only $16 2 weeks ago). Despite their increased price, their wontons noodles are still good value. I will recommend people to come here when they would like to have a hot bowl of noodles and good wontons!…Read More

Japanese Burger
MOS Burger
2010-02-25
:)Went to Shatin Ikea to have a look. Got a bit hungry on the way home, so therefore I grabbed myself a Mos Burger. Chinese saying "1 dollar with 1 dollar of value". It tasted way better than any other fast food. This shop's burger is way superior compared to McDonald's or Burger King. Very juicy burger patty and very well seasoned. I love the burgers in here, but of course, the one I have tasted before in Tokyo is quite different than the ones in here, but still way better than any other burger shops in Hong Kong. I have a tendency to eat this almost once every 2 weeks. …Read More

Non Fast Food Pizza
California Pizza Kitchen
2010-02-25
Went to Mong Kok, every where is packed and couldn't find a place for dinner, this shop just opened for business at 6:00pm, therefore we settle down for pizza. The pizza tasted better than what you could normally find in those big brand, where I thought the pizza tasted pretty nice. Very authentic. We order 3 different pizza toppings and a artichoke dip for starter, nice and hot and perfectly seasoned. The food is incredible in here. The service in here does not match the food in my opinion, where I thought the altitude of the staffs can improve and be a bit more caring. Other than that the location of this place could be a little bit tough to find. The overall experience is positive, and I would like to try this place once again. …Read More

Dinner was worth waiting for.
Modern China Restaurant (Olympian City 2)
2010-02-25
I think it opens at 6:00, but believe it or not, you won't be able to find a seat there after 6:30, you would have to wait at least an hour to get yourself seated. Don't be mistaken, the food in here is absolutely worth the wait. We order some special chinese tea to begin with, "Ginseng Wu Lon", very nice and relaxing with a little sweet in aftertaste. :)We order about 8 courses with 7 of us eating. Every dish is very good, especially the "Siu Lon Boa", lots of juice popped out. The service is incredible, extremely quick in service and friendly staffs. And of course it comes with a price. The price is not cheap, but I do believe this is exactly what it is worth and I am dying to eat again in here. …Read More

Meatball sub
Subway
2010-02-25
Craving for a sub today for lunch so I went to the newly opened Subway at The Center. Ordered a meatball sub with Parmesan Oregano bread. The sub tastes good, however the bread was a bit soggy by the time I got back to the office. The thing about subway is you will know what you will get all the time, but nothing too exciting about it. Their service was terrible as well, their service is basically non-exsistent, and they were not paying attention when I was ordering since I had to repeat my order 3 times. The Meatball sub overall is good but was a bit expensive ($35 for a 6"sub) compared to their "value" meal for $29 with cookies/lays chips and drinks. …Read More

Best Steakhouse
Ruth's Chris Steak House
2010-02-24
Went here to celebrate with my girlfriend for our 4th anniversary. We both ordered their: Lobster bisque (good) New York Steak with mash potatoes for the sides (beef sizzling away in the melted butter) Creme brulee (decent)Ruth's Chris has always been one of my favorite steakhouse in Toronto, after coming back to HK, I always wanted to go back and try, plus Ruth's Chris is perfect for special occasions. I have to say every time I walked into the restaurant, the buttery beef smell always makes your mouth waters before you even started to eat. Once again, Ruth's Chris did not disappoint me, the service and the food is always up to standard and you will know what kind of quality you will get all the time. …Read More

Weird Korean Food
Baab
2010-02-23
This is one of the two Korean Restaurant in Olympian City, as there's also one in their food court. The food in here looked Korean, but never tasted like Korean, nothing authentic. Their Ginseng Chicken soup tasted so much like normal Hong Kong Chicken Soup that you could find in any household. The barbeque is not marinated thoroughly like they would in a real Korean Restaurant, sort of blend in taste. The most authentic dish of theirs is the Kimchi soup, which my girlfriend had. I have also tried their Stonebowl rice in one of the afternoon, it was also nothing authentic. However, their service is quite nice, and I also liked the ambience of the shop. Lastly, their pricing is what a normal authentic Korean restaurant would charge, which I found quite expensive for their particular quality of food. All in all, I wouldn't say this is a bad restaurant, but I wouldn't really recommend this shop to anyone. …Read More

Great cold noodles
Hita Japanese Soba Restaurant
2010-02-23
This is a newly opened Japanese Restaurant that specializes in noodles. I have to say, the noodles are quite nice as they tasted fresh and crisp. The food is not bad, but I wouldn't recommend their chicken rice, they missed the order for my girlfriend, and the meat came out hard and tasteless. We also ordered Japanese Style Barbequed Ox Tougue, cube size beef and eel. I wouldn't say they tasted bad, but weren't really surprising at all, especially the Eel tasted awfully unfresh. I realize that the restaurant is still a new operation, therefore I didn't expect the service to be up to standard yet. I am sure they could do better, and I will try them again some other time. …Read More

Always wanted to try this restaurant out since I have heard quite a few positive feedbacks from my friends. My friend and I ordered a 1kg White wine mussels, a roast chicken frisee salad, and a Rich man's burger. Overall, the food and experience was great! The white wine mussels are exceptionally good and the poached egg salad tasted better than I thought. Although, I think their dishes are a bit expensive but I will definitely go there again.…Read More

Pho?
Viet's Choice
2010-02-21
My girlfriend and I lived nearby and had no idea what to have for dinner. So after 30 minutes of random walking, we chose this place because there were seats available. The decor is decent, but the hygene is not really up to standard as there are grease splash next to the wall that we were seating into (it would be a nice green wall if there aren't any grease mark there.), while the floor being a little bit slippery with grease as well. We had two raw beef Pho's and 3 pieces of springroll. To be honest the Pho didn't taste good at all while comparing those that we had taste before with comparable price. The springroll however is fresh fried and mouth searing hot, so that's the best part of the whole meal. The service is quite good. Overall, this has been an OK experience but I would try other shops next time before revisiting again. …Read More
