What a gem. Kaya toast is crunchy and thick. The butter is cold and there is a good nice thick layer of kaya as well. 肉骨茶 was different to what I expected. Too much ingredients for me, I just wanted soup! But still tasty.The rendang rice was tasty, but the standout was still the kaya toast. Enjoyed my meal and will be back. Tried the signature beef noodles, brine meats and some Taiwanese drinks. Beef noodles: Not a fan although the beef itself was okay. Decent flavour, soft and chewy with some tendon bits connecting through the meat. However the broth was a simple soy sauce base without much other flavour. This is unlike the medicinal/ herbal flavour that other places out in their soup. The noodles are also very thick and soft, rather than springy. Brine meats: This was decent and much better than the noodles. What we did finish was the pork soft bone / cartilage and intestine. Herbal, salty and chewy... not bad. Below expectations... We had the matcha sweet pancake and savory breakfast pancakes with bacon. We went at lunch time during a weekday and the pancakes did not taste fresh... they tasted like that had been prepared earlier and then reheated after being ordered. This meant the pancakes were not fluffy and soft but a little chewy in the outside and lukewarm. Crispy pork with glutinous rice was truly decadent. Pork was very crunchy with a thin layer of fat under the skin. Rice was sticky and soft with a salty soy sauce. The “kou rou” was yummy but tasted more like char sieu. Very thinly sliced and paired with yam. This was actually tasty just not the dish that you expected it to be by name!Clay pot rice was just okay, although it was more a fried rice dish than true clay pot rice. The best drink is the brown sugar green tea latte with pearls. Haven’t seen this combo elsewhere, very delicious! The brown sugar is sweet and sticky, while the green tea is a little bitter to balance the taste. Many different types of handmade pearls available with daily specials on rotation. Very creative although some are a miss with me. Mango pearl with yakult was too sour and didn’t have too much yakult taste. Enjoy the 酸辣汤 from this place - not in Sichuan style though, think lots of bamboo shoot and wood ear. Not very spicy but goes down well as an appetizer. For me the real gems are the extensive list of cold dishes - I like the vinegar jellyfish, which uses the crunchy “head” portion of the jelly fish. The thousand layer pigs ears is super smooth in texture and the combination of coriander and spicy sauce creates taste. Chicken with rice is the standout... soft meat with an oily glaze, although it is “white chicken” it can be eaten without sauce as it is already flavorful enough on its own... chicken rice also with heaps of chicken flavour, not too oily as some shops will make it, you can tell it was cooked with the chicken essence as it should be Bak kut teh is in herbal style (rather than peppery)... a little bitter with a sweet after taste... can also eat the ribs in the soup with fall off the bone meat... lots of tofu which soak up all the soup as well, very tastyLaksa was a tad sweet and in a heavy thick soup... which is not my fave from this place Many of the drinks here are also crazy sweet, recommend the home made barley which is not sweet at all and a great cleanser to the oiliness of the chicken …Read More

The noodles here are wide and chewy... so satisfying to eat! The meat that comes with it is also good, we got some pork belly and pigs ear to go with our noodles. Fresh ingredients. Prime cut beef was also very good. Hotpot base is not very spicy at all... we had the medium spicy base and could have probably gone for most spicy option instead. Best korean food in Hong Kong We had a meat hotpot which was so flavourful... the soup base was savory and just a bit spicy, beef juicy and teokbokki soft. Very large servings though, definitely family size for at least four people. Mixed mini pancakes were also awesome as we got to try four different styles of korean pancake. However the service makes me want to avoid eating here in future... the staff here were VERY pushy with certain items on the menu... Hole in the wall. No English. Traditional Cantonese congee done well. So much abalone! Pork liver is soft and not powdery at all. Meat balls are also tasty, not too floury.
