This place charges extra for using cardless payment. The barista, whom I assume is the owner, said the extra cardless fee is due to their coffee pricing being on the lower end. I ordered a coffee on the go and when I asked for a piece of tissue to wrap around the cup, the barista/owner said with attitude that the coffee is at the best temperature, not like Starbucks where the coffee is super hot. While there is optimal temperature for serving coffee, there is a factor to personal preference. It was more of the attitude and arrogance of the barista/owner which spoil the taste of the coffee. I never write bad restaurant reviews but Tealosophy is a restaurant I won’t go back to anymore. I would leave zero stars if I could. Though this ice soba looks instagrammable, up close you can see it has been reused. Save your money and eat elsewhere unless you have spare money and time to throw away.
