Reasonable prices for all dishes. All waiters and waitress were nice and attentive. Although there were not many choices for the main courses but it included a range of varieties: pastas, risotto, seafood, pork & beef. Table for 5 adults & 2 young toddlers, we had raviollia and risotto for the mains, they were good. We were no choice but ordered beef burger in medium well as the kids might want to have it, of course I’d recommend it in medium cooked. Wings were a must for kids, it was sweet and crispy. There were only three choices of pizza, we ordered two out of the three options. I had no choice to order one of them in goat cheese for kids as the other two seems a bit spicy. Chorizo pizza were not spicy as expected, I did not try on the pizza in goat cheese but seems the kids were ok with it. For my personal choice of smoothies, I thought I had a good pick for myself with the unicorn blood as there was a wide range of fruity ingredients and it was a little of the sour flavoured than sugary flavoured.…Read More

LNY Reunion Lunch for 2
Tycoon Tann
2018-02-08
We were there for the peking duck and the glutinous ball 🐉🔮. However, the guy who served our table, told us that the glutinous ball might not be successfully fried easily and we did not have it finally after they claiming of failed to fry it twice. The peking duck served eight portions and that was quite enough for two ladies who were not with empty tummies. Service was excellent, the decor of the bar on the ground level is much more in a Chinese style than on the first level dinning area. I might think of giving one more chance to visit again for the glutinous ball on a day that I do not have other planning after lunch, so as to wait for the dish to come to my table.…Read More

Cafe&Meal MUJI
2018-01-20
Cafe&Meal MUJI, will not reject to visit again but it won’t be my preference. Its cooking of fishes was good, I recommend the fried flounder & the tuna salad. The custard dessert with fig fruit was great too, it worth the price though it costs $40, i guess they use nearly one fig in each serve. Plain rice and mixed rice were good too, the texture of JP rice was the most richest one I have ever had. If you are two pax. dining or dating in a Muji outlet, I would recommend to order a rice set and a 4-portion-set for sharing, then it will come with 2 big portions of rice, two bowls of soup, one large portion of main course by the rice set and a total of 3 items of cold platter! As we ordered a rice set plus a 5-portion-set, we were leaving with our second belly!!…Read More

Dum Sum Deluxe
2018-01-04
This is a very nice place for people who like taking food snap. It was very small there and there were not many choices of dim sum unlike that famous Michelin recommended dim sum chained restaurant, but you may have several shots of the cute buns and dumplings. The most impressive dish was the lobster mango cheese puff in the dragon boat, although I couldnt find mango flavoured in it, it was good for cheese lovers and it would be great to make it into 6 small mouthful sized puff instead on 3 big ones. Be careful when you manage to eat the salted egg lava bun as they were much juicy than those you found in other cantonese restaurant. The Christmas bun combo was not recommended but it might be just a limited time offer, just order it if you would like to take photos! …Read More

Great food but poor service
Glasshouse (國際金融中心)
2018-01-03
Food was great at this price range at this location but service was really horrible. Only the petit lady in white apron gave us smile and the rest of other waitress were unfriendly and impatient. What I like the most on the food menu were the wagyu with fried rice and the crispy fries with truffle dip; while the lychee & rose tea twist on the beverage menu was a nice pick. I do recommend to visit the Glasshouse for good food at mid-price in Central but do not expect any hospitality unless you are visiting the restaurant with a foreign guy! My friend booked the table and mentioned it was a birthday dinner and was expected the birthday signage on the dessert but they forgot!…Read More

Valuable choice in Central
RaRe Restaurant (Lyndhurst Terrace)
2017-12-31
Seldom had salmon for main dish as I think it is usually too tough even it is not overcooked. however we did not have much choice that evening so we ordered salmon and it was good - tender, soft, marinated in a flavour that I liked. Carbonara is our always pasta in every western restaurant, we do not expect too much as we understand that not even one Carbonara in any fine restaurant in HK would be compared to the one that we had in italy, but this is our always pasta as this cant be cooked inedible. The Carbonara there in RaRe was ok but unexpected in large portion! Overall experience dinning in RaRe was good as service was good and those dishes were ok; and I think the most important reason was I had a good mood on my birthday.…Read More

The Story Cafe and Bakery
2017-12-30
IMO worst latte art ever in a nice british tea cup. I am not an expert to recognise where do the coffee beans come from, but the flavour was not strong and nth special. You are still recommended to come here for a cup of caffein intake if you dont want the boring chained coffee shops and if you dont mind the quality of coffee but just a refreshment break in the middle of shopping. Here costs you even lesser than in those green and red chained coffee shops ! …Read More

Mid-Price, Recommend Uni with Steamed Egg
Tenichi
2017-12-29
I will definitely visit again for the uni steamed egg although it might not be the best, still nice. JP style fried tofu is also recommended, portion was large, it was deep fried with very thin batter together with 木魚乾~ And reasonable price for overall dishes…Read More

Best Steamed Pudding in Roasted Coconut
豬仔糖水
2017-12-29
It is the best steamed  pudding in roasted coconut so far. I did try the same pudding in other similar chained dessert restaurant, but it was disappointing! I used to go to the 豬仔 in TKT but was closed, and found this one in TGW while it is more easy to get a parking slot than it was in TKT (of course on weekdays) !! …Read More

Cheap & no surprise
Le Viet
2017-06-14
The assorted platter was a great deal at $98 but do not expect too much from it: both fried shrimp cake and spring roll were too hard. The salad that with pomelo is recommended, just a little little little bit spicy. The rice in coconut was ok. I didnt expect that it was a hot sweet dish. However, it seems this is one of the signature dishes there (I guess). You must have this for sharing otherwise you might be full after a few mouthful of it. Not that surprise with the ingredient in it: just shrimp and shrimps !!Lastly we ordered a bowl of vermicelli in curry sauce (thick & creamy). Taste not bad but no surprise again.Food was acceptable for how much you had paid for! …Read More

TAIWAN KITCHEN
2017-03-15
If you got no idea which restaurant to go to in City One Shatin, and if you don't want to spend too much on meals, but you are bored with those fastfood or Cha Chaan Teng, this Taiwanese restaurant can be an extra option for you. Do not expect too much, but it won't be too worst. …Read More

Just for the view
Triple Lanterns Cafe
2017-03-14
To be honest, this cafe offers an excellent view for a relax day-out. Service is good but not the best, as the lady was too subjective to tell you what to order that made me not too comfortable, but undoubtedly that she was very nice indeed as well as all those maid in the pantry and the waiter that I believe he is a cousin of the boss. Price was acceptable. You will have one free beverage when ordering each of the food items.Food quality was ok but IMO not as good as other people reviewed on FBPizza - you got ingredients of several sliced sausage and ham Fish cake - Nice, but better to order large portionTiramisu - okBlueberry cheese cake - IMO better than Tiramisu Latte - sorry IMO even worser than a SB. I didnt think that was brewed from an espresso machine or the bean was just lightly roasted Hot chocolate - guess that was Milo powder Anyway, you are there for the view, amazing and unique! …Read More
