It was a Wednesday night and we arrived at Little Bao at 7. There was already a queue outside n the staff told us it will be a 30-min wait. We walked around the area n returned at 7:30. We ordered a drink whilst waiting n were soon taken to our seats.We ordered the following to share between 2 of us:- pork belly bao- chicken bao- short rib dumplings - "Oyster Li" (daily special)- LB ice cream sandwichThe pork belly bao was just so juicy n beyond expectation:The dumplings were nicely flavoured, though I would skip the salad underneath:The oysters were baked with cheese n we found them so-so:In general the food was unique - in a positive way. It would be great if they could void the "no bao cutting" rule, as it really was a bit difficult to bite without spilling the filling.Little Bao is definitely worth a try, even if you're just here for desser! We made a reservation and was given a table by the window, though due to the construction work outside and the rain there wasn't much to see. The staff were very attentive and polite. We ordered 2 afternoon tea sets, plus 2 raw juices, 1 apple juice and 1 cappuccino. The juices were all freshly squeezed. :)I was particularly impressed by the savoury canapés - each item was unique i.e. not a basic tasteless sandwich. The first time I had afternoon tea at The Parlour was when it first opened. Back then the food wasn't particularly impressive, but the service was fair and the interior design did the trick of distracting me from the good quality.This is my second visit and despite having made a reservation, we were given an outdoor table under the gloomy weather - all the tables indoor were empty during our time there.We ordered the afternoon tea set, the presentation was acceptable. However, the scone tasted floury, the macarons were overly sweet. In the end we couldn't finish half of the food because it was just too bad.
