要招呼國內朋友,當然是介紹香港的絕佳美食,千萬不要失禮!其中有朋友特別喜欢生蠔,深圳多數賣湛江出產,我今次帶他們去跑馬地嘅Oyster Talk,起碼吃到十幾種不同地方的佳品。點菜之前我已很實際的說,一行六人,只有三人嗜好生蠔,兩個Aunt不肯吃生品,一個係孕婦又係不吃。想先order湯類給他們,第一,只有三款供應:龍虾、磨菇、蕃茄海鮮,不合胃口;第二,他們一看到每位$110,認為不值,唔肯叫。而我們,當然留肚吃蠔啦 不過,平心而論,如果是$80-$95的話,仍可接受嘅。所以先幫準媽咪來份羊架。第一round四款生蠔每樣四只,結果都係每樣來五只,點知兩個Aunt無論如何只勉強吃兩只,我們三人當然"包尾殺',其中兩款好鮮甜、爽! yummy!已即吩咐第二round另外四款每樣只要三只,我們目的希望試多幾種。點知,仍然每樣五只,內心即刻唔舒服。駛錢無問題,不過是我話事,都未知好唔好食!起碼係我encore先!Uncle要飲紅酒,已開了一瓶(house wine麻麻地la),我倆再來一瓶白酒,明知飲唔晒,都無問題,是我招呼朋友,但......實不應以為是大陸人就亂來,難道要退嗎?!完全破壞氣氛!!果然,硬加碼的四款,只有一款好味,即刻覺得......"賣唔出咩,其中像貝殼的一款更是 "la" 口,詢問之下說是"蠔王"?!! 話吃前吃後都要飲啖白酒,我們兩個試多次,個口都係"la"好耐,開始不信任喇!第三round,確實order另外新品種,又係要四款,每樣三只夠。奇怪,第一、二round讚許過的三款,encore咗,只加一個新品種??即刻肯定了他們的手法好有問題講番主菜,"準媽咪"先吃羊架,賣相好好,也說好味。兩個Aunt見他食過讚才叫(穩陣!)點知等了超過30分鐘,說完全無味,要加鹽?!我都唔好意思,再加兩個pasta同rib eye大家食,pasta好普通,比較硬身,只係pasta都收$200一份,真係未試過咁貴rib eye就一催再催,超過40分鐘先到,面已有點燶帶苦 (order 5成熟),也是普普通通,好多地方做得比她好,價又收得唔平$360一份。其實,Oyster Talk 留意一下經營手法,不要殺雞取卵,價目定得合理點點,一定得到顧客口啤。此刻,起碼我不會興致勃勃再來一次,要好好好想食蠔時才再去!可惜!…Read More

每逢有上海、蘇州朋友來港,我必帶他們去"老上海"吃飯,次次讚不絕口必吃餸菜:燻魚、小黄魚、舟山蜇頭、蟹粉鮑翅、遼參花膠、塔古菜抄冬笋燻魚、舟山蜇頭必定打孖,實在太好食,海蜇頭爽脆無比、味道一流!蟹粉鮑翅份量多到好似食麵一樣,食完都飽,蘇州朋友說:這裡一人份量,差不多等同當地一圍(10人) 份量。半條遼參有一只手掌咁長,扣得剛剛好,正!塔古菜抄冬笋嘅冬笋就少咗D!以前吃過炒虾子冬笋角,雖然二百幾一碟,也覺物有所值!單尾來份炒年糕又好、麵條又好、菜飯又好,也吃不下。只是幾道菜,已經飽到動不得。3人吃飯,埋單要$2500,同客人吃飯最緊要 "穩陣" !千其唔好去一D又要俾貴錢、又食唔到好嘢的地方,無面哩!次次客人回國後,仍然大讚香港的 "上海菜" 正!!不過,要接受 "老上海" 的環境、服務,都好 "老式" 啊!"老上海"只講實力,不講花巧!…Read More

大年初一,本來一家人好好吃一頓,卻換來一肚氣!定了12位,點知臨時有親戚不到,變咗8位。枱仍很廹,还要在角落位有小孩不吃海鮮,雖然只是6大人、2小孩,也點咗8位海鮮套餐 (根本無得選擇),另外重點多半只乳豬`、煎蛋角,為的是小朋友。點之前問清楚乳豬是否熱、脆?部長說:'是"。乾等25分鐘,不要說"6小碟",連一小碟都沒有,追完又追,竟然龍虾先上,'6小碟'才來。接着是冷冰冰、肥腯腯的"半只又半只"乳豬!一上枱已顎然!大年初一,持住客人不會投訴,可以亂來就亂來搶錢!半只乳豬$288,合理,但四分一只喎!錢也不是問題,人多的話,不夠吃,難道又加多'半只'?!一只乳豬的話,豈不是$1152!!!蟹肉金錢鮑翅和石頭魚二味,不過不失,'魚湯鮮菇翡翠"就差到不得了,完全沒有味菜上得超慢,本來是第二道菜的"鰉魚膠遼參花菇',菜食晒還未見!又追,追得離都唔想食支红酒:物非所值骨碟一路都係叫先換,最好笑係拿走骨碟,無補上骨碟,再要求拿來骨碟,又係果句 '等陣先!"大年初一,第一餐飯,真是 "大吉利是"!!!…Read More

今時今日酒樓競爭好大,第一係低食、第二係師傅、第三係用料,環境同服務反而不著意。爺爺生日去邊度食飯,想咗好耐,話就話佢無所謂,最奄尖又係佢,一次係灣仔間稻香食過唔高興,擺係心入便幾年!難招呼爺爺好識食,新派菜唔鐘意,佢話淨係食裝修,原材科同師傅其實好低級,佢唔buy!我以前試過去呢間飲壽宴,對佢嘅手剪奶皮乳豬、包羅萬有、火朣翅印象好深,今次試吓呢間啦!事前我都幾緊張,親自去點菜揀料两次,都係"太子爺"親自招呼(好認真)。手剪奶皮乳豬 - 好瘦、熱刺刺、脆卜卜,个个都讚嘆不已,爺爺少食肉,都食咗兩大嚿,細路最鐘意食香口野,又係兩大嚿,落手落腳食咗第一个菜,个个都飽飽地,正火朣翅 - 翅身要幾粗、幾多両是自己定,豐儉由人。最正係湯底,火朣香到不得了,不要以為火朣係湯渣,攞出來原隻上枱,又食晒!爺爺次次都係食東星班,以前都試過連游水嘅東星,肉係霉,好驚條魚唔靚,聽"太子爺"話要"黃皮老虎",約两斤幾一條,嘩!好有海魚味、肉滑、連皮都好油香,師傅蒸到剛剛好,超滑!芝士焗龍虾 - 汁嘅香味夠濃、稠度適中,比美出名嘅"竹園",OK包羅萬有不敢點,雖然有花膠、海參、鵝掌、冬菇、蠔豉,最敝係半邊冬瓜墊底,實比爺爺鬧,所以位上遼參鵝掌,扣得好好味,夠霖。其他較普通嘅芝麻雞,都寫明用"生劏走地雞",夠認真,不過,都已經食不下,打包拎走!熱暈係帶子、螺片,OK母子蟠桃壽包,裡面有小壽包,逗得爺爺最開心,証明並非"東海"最出名,"東園金閣"都出名!單尾"鴛鴦飯"、水餃麵,樣子好正,又食不下。糕品 - "鴛鴦飽",招牌流沙飽加奶皇飽,老人家、小朋友都照顧到,夠 體貼!甜品 - 原隻椰皇杏汁燉海底椰,真係香滑到不得了,褲頭鬆開都要食!正正正!埋單6000元/一圍,計落好化算,免加一,包紅酒、啤酒、汽水、雀片。埋完單想繼續打麻雀,可以上樓上"金閣會",再叫飲品、小食才計錢,抵抵抵!喺稻香食嗰次,無一樣食得都要9980埋單,食完揼心都不敢出聲,費事俾爺爺鬧…Read More

天气好潮濕,無食慾。係銅鑼灣行吓行吓,經過老三陽,便睇睇鰻魚乾,鰻魚乾係海魚,本身都幾鮮,点知又睇到新出品:"太湖"出產嘅"白魚乾"。我係蘇州公幹都食過"太湖"最出名嘅"太湖三白",即係:白魚、白虾、銀魚。食嘅時候係新鮮游水,好鮮味,香港未見過有得賣,因為養唔到,蘇州食都幾貴。一見到老三陽有白魚乾,買一條試試,有一呎長,賣88元,好抵,今時今日靚嘅咸魚秤金咁秤。返到屋企,蒸四分一條,好簡單,淨係加羗絲清蒸15分鐘,嘩!鮮到不得了,一家四口,最快食晒就係條白魚乾,不過,要小心有几多小骨,一定要慢慢食!隨時加餸,正!…Read More
