we had several skewers, of the tofu, eggplant, corn (all of which seemed to be covered in the same sauce). the chicken skin isn't like the kind in japan, but just came in one big piece. It wasn't that bad actually. we had two fried rice balls which were hollow on one side for the filling. the taste was mediocre. the portions are small, 68 dollars for one skewer is not cheap and i might as well eat in central. the waitress stacked new food on old plates instead of taking away the old plates! the beer was 105 bucks a bottle!!! and there weren't other beer options. only one of the four chu-hi drinks were available.Zaru udon came with a quail egg, a few scallions and ginger. My coffee order took them 15 minutes when there was no one else waiting for take away coffee! The servers are always just talking to one another, and therefore slow at serving. for its size, the coffee is expensive. At least the coffee itself is good.I worry about hygiene since the toilets always smell even when I am waiting in line to buy coffee or a snack. …Read More

the venue is nice, with a good view and the ambiance is pleasant. order: duck fat fries, truffle penne, breakfast platethe duck fat fries didn't taste like duck fat fries. the truffle penne didn't taste like truffle and wasn't even penne but one big sheet of pasta rolled into the dish. my breakfast plate was supposed to be poached eggs, but they were soft boiled! the food was ordinary and expensive for what it was. for brunch i would go somewhere else, if it weren't for the convenience of being in IFC…Read More
