06/10/18So this is my third time at this restaurant and the pastas and desserts do not disappoint but the reason why I came here this day was on Open Rice it said the restaurant had a really good promotion which was 21:00-21:30 the meal would be 75% off and that's a super good deal. So when the waitress gave me the menu she said that you came here at 21:00 and you get 25% off, I was very very confused and showed her the printscreen of the 75% off deal that I was expecting. It seems that Open Rice had got the information mixed up but anyways I still had to eat. The only things that were 25% off were the steaks, pork chop and roast chicken. I was a little disappointed since I wasn't feel steak but anyways I had chosen a pasta dish and the sirloin steak.The sirloin steak arrived and it looked ok, a little small. The sirloin was ask to be cooked medium and the first bite was ok BUT the other bites were so good. I think the whole cut was bad there was too much muscle fibers that were super chewy and it felt it was overcooked, it was that tough but it wasn't overcooked. Normally the area around the fat at the top of the sirloin is chewy but this steak wasn't like that. I have eatten many sirloins and this was the one of the worst. I do not recommend to have a sirloin steak at this restaurant even with the 25% off it's not really worth it. The black truffle mash was very good worth the 40hkd. The pasta was well cooked and the desserts are always very good. Only come here for the dessert to be safe. They changed the menu since the last time I came and the chocolate banana was really good, sight like a banana but tasted like those Japanese banana cakes which were very delightful. Overall this experience I would give 7 out of 10 but without the sirloin then 8 out of 10. I might come here again but I feel the portions were a little small and the meal isn't cheap I think I would go to the Cheesecake Factory again. …Read More
