Came here during a weekday lunch hour. The environment is quite romantic! Unlike the usual Chinese dishes places with lots of bright lights, here is more on the dimming side. Seats and tables are being arranged in a decent way. The decoration is in good fashion. The first impression was positive.Ordered a few types of dishes including dim sum, spicy noodles and stewed pork knuckles.The complimentary starter is good, bit sour and served in cool temperature. The best one is probably the dim sum. You can see that it's being prepared freshly but not in bulk.The worst is probably the pork knuckles. Tasteless at all and the meat is not tender enough. The flavour is only on the sauce, but not the meat itself. We have let the staff know about this, and they did not charge us for this dish for the bill. Ordered two lunch set during a weekday lunch. Without booking ahead, we can easily secure seats in this place.The two sets were Stewed Beef Tongue ($218) and Poire Crispy Horsehead Fish ($228). They all served with Salad, Egg Custard, Pan-fried Scallop, Garlic Fried Rice, Miso Soup, Pickles and Homemade ice-cream.The thing I appreciated the most is that the price is very affordable taken all elements into consideration, including the quality of the ingredients, service, environment etc.It's still newly opened when I visited this place and there are certain things that can be improved. For one, the stewed beef tongue is really not in good shape. The taste of it is so mild, I mean the meat itself. The strong taste only comes from the sauce. The presentation is good, but after the first bite, you know that the meats are not in good quality. For the seasonal salad, it's obvious to see that the raw veggies are not that fresh as some already turn black. It's a detailed area though. Also, for the garlic fried rice, it's incredibly oily. After finishing the whole bowl, you can still see the oil have covered the bottom of the bowl. Came here during a weekday lunch hour. Usually during peak hours, you could expect wait for around 15 minutes for a table.Its location is quite remote if you travel to here by MTR. But if you are working nearby (there are a lot of industrial building and decent office places in this area), this place is really convenient. Although there are more than 10 choices in this building, this one is unique given their quality, service and environment.All the lunch comes with starters, drinks and desserts. Saw that most of the diners are Indians and few of them are local people.There are a number of places serving Indian cuisines so am sure one needs to be outstanding to survive in this area.Ordered 4 dishes and 1 is not being pictured.Overall, we enjoyed the Tandoori chicken the most, with the right amount of seasoning.None of the dishes are overly spicy that we found comfortable about.The price is relatively expensive as the portion of each dishes is quite small. This place is really popular. There are tons of people lining up outside during lunch hour and also some waiting for the take-away.Ordered two lunch sets. One is for BBQ and the other one is ready-to-eat.I would say both are within expectations. No surprise though. The starters are only with limited choices and limited supply. No queuing is needed but it's around 85% full house.Ordered 3 dishes including a raw Korean beef for BBQ, chicken soup and seafood fried noodles.I would say it's a bit overpriced given that the portion is not super huge and the quality is not that outstanding. I would say I have certain expectation before visiting this place as this is one of the largest chain restaurant serving Vietnamese food in Hong Kong. Came here without much expectation but the dishes definitely surprised me a lot.Cold Vermicelli Bowl with Grilled Atlantic Salmon is a sure win. Did not expect it to be in such a good condition - crispy and fresh salmon, 2 of them! Huge portion. Added to this, the vermicelli is in good flavour, bit sour with a lot of fresh ingredients to pair with. It is not a traditional one given that they used salmon, but absolutely of good value.Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab is also another good one. Freshly fried but you would not free it's too oily. Mostly shell, of course, but because of its large size, there's still some meats there. Very good too.Pho with Thin-sliced Beef (Medium Rare) is so-so in comparison. Basically we need to leave our seats to look for a staff to help with the ordering. Other than that, you were on your own. The environment is spacious with lots of natural sunlight. Because it's spacious with many tables, more staff is needed to serve the diners.The set costs around $300. Overall it's fine with a variety of different dishes. Quality is stable and within expectations. I would say it serves three people too with its portion. The taste is more to the sweet side instead of spicy. We came here during Sunday noon for their brunch.In conclude, $298 per person is a good deal.Once you order, there are 4 starters for you to share, including Caesar Salad, Tomato Bruschetta, Vitello Tonnato and homemade meatballs. To my surprise, the homemade meatballs are of high quality. Not much fat and you can taste some fresh meats are being used. The Vitello Tonnato is equally good. The quality of meat is above average. The one thing I do not really like is the Caesar Salad. Probably because I am not a fan of those heavy sauce. Other than that, all starters are worth trying.For the Mains, I have chosen Eggplant Parmigiana. This is a disappointment. Thought it would be a light choice since it's vegetarian.
