We ordered braised noodles with shredded ginger and spring onion, braised noodles with shredded fish and shrimp dumplings as extra topping. Everyone got some stock which tasted like a bit of everything, but most of all shrimp. To the side we got the noodles, the noodles with the sliced fish was also topped with ginger and spring onion. The extra topping (6 or 10 dollar) consisted of 3 shrimp dumplings and tasted really really good! The fish was a little bit bland and soft, but the overall taste was nice. Especially when you know that the price you pay is so low! Portions were a bit small though.The waitress didn't speak English too well, so one of our group had to translate everything. A small place, so we were lucky to be seated immedeately.Kind waiters.At first you get some water from the tap, which tastes like chlorine, but that's something I have to get used to i think. Then the papadums came with a green sauce, the papadums were fresh.We ordered: Mutter paneer, pilou rice, naan and shrimps baked until dry in tomato sauce.The rice was sooo good! the taste was so rich, with cloves, saffron and aniseeds. The portion was also big enough for one good eater. This was the second time we visited, since the first one was soooo good! We came in as one of the first, we ordered:Channa MasalaKadai Paneer Steamed riceGarlic naanThe food was very veryy nice again, waiter is very kind. At one moment it got a bit crowded and suddenly everything felt kind of rushed. But it was ok, the Channa Masala (chickpea's) was a little bit spicy but less spicy than the Kadai Paneer. It was enough of food for the two of us, though I think that they could have served more rice, we had plent of sauce left...I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, it's my favorite in Kong (so far ;))…Read More
