一直覺得餐廳的門面裝修十分有假日的感覺,落地玻璃襯上白色磚牆,門外的大傘下放著木枱木櫈,只看外面,會以為是法國小鎮的餐廳。前幾天見到附近的宣傳 :六時至七時入座,全單半價。就是受這個折扣的吸引,小Bu跟我是晚決定到這裡試試。「很少餐廳會用入座時間計優惠,通常都係用賣單時間計。」「我覺得係因為負責人唔係做開呢行。」小Bu估計。起切以為半價會有很多食客,但今晚卻只有一半滿,可能因為餐廳位置麻麻,很少途人會走到這頭。這裡有著小店/Cafe 的特色 :簡單但順服的裝修,一些小擺設跟油畫,望著落地玻璃外的樹木,感覺悠閒。「湯味道ok,有好多配料。」「羅宋湯應該係罐頭湯底加上自己既配料,睇得出佢落左好多心機,比如佢用原隻胡椒粒,通常普通餐廳剩係用胡椒粉。不過佢呢度又無將胡椒粒整碎出味。」小Bu權威地道。有點可惜,用上貴價貨卻效果一般。鴨胸波菜意大利飯味道不錯,不過鴨胸煎得略乾。「西冷質素一般,食得出係用醃料整鬆,又無咩牛味。」我邊食邊道。「不過薯角炸得香脆,可以加分。」小Bu都係鐘意食香口食物。「半價都幾低,有湯有主菜有嘢飯。」「係,但係如果正價我就唔會黎,HK$120一個餐有更多更好選擇。」看得出這小店用心去做,雖然人手不太夠(全場只有一個很Charm的男待應兼咖啡師),不過笑容搭夠。希望這裡食物質素會有改善,似終我也想多點誠意小店能夠生存。…Read More

難得沒有雨,我跟小Bu決定下午到荃灣逛逛。我們邊逛街邊留意晚飯的選擇,途中見到這間餐廳放在門口的餐牌頗為吸引,最後大約六時便直接walk-in。「呢度枱同枱之間都分得幾開,坐得幾舒服。」小Bu望著餐廳簡單的裝飾說著。的而且確,這裡枱與枱之間保持一定距離,環境清靜,可以保留食客間的私隱。「香港很多所謂西餐廳啲枱排得好密,有時仲排排坐,好易聽到其他人嘅話。」我和應著。「點同呢,你講個啲餐廳收你一百蚊一個人,呢度收你二百,環境梗係好啲。」我點著頭,想到唯一的解釋──土地問題。是日餐湯是粟米湯,餐廳用新鮮粟米攪碎放入湯煮,令湯有濃烈的粟米味,感覺較為健康。南瓜沙津就較為一般,南瓜清甜,不過沙津菜的種類較少。主菜我點了炭燒澳洲肉眼牛扒,七成熟。餐廳控制的牛扒生熟程度不錯,沒有香港其他西餐廳的通病──過熟,要五成熟給你七成熟,要七成熟給你全熟。牛扒煎得內裡軟熟,加上淡淡的牛味,不需要配上醬汁已經令人吃不停口。唯一的不足是如果牛扒外面煎得再香脆會更為可口。配菜的薯角炸得香口,上面灑上粗鹽,香口好吃。 海蜆香蒜有機意大利粉看上去雖然平平無奇,但手製意粉下竟然有超過二十隻的新鮮連的海蜆, 頗為鮮甜。可惜意粉味道略淡。可能因為這間餐廳是walk-in,之前沒有特別看評語,所以充滿驚喜。…Read More

是日跟小Bu四處逛逛,晚飯時決定試試這間泰式餐廳。見到這裡有二人餐,也省卻點菜的煩惱,直接在裏面選擇。頭盤我們選了泰式拼盤。其中魚餅,炸雞及春卷均新鮮熱辣,十分香口。而我們認為最特別的是泰式三文魚刺身,肥美的三文魚,配上青檸辣椒醬,十分開胃。主菜要了古法燒香葉烏頭及青咖哩三文魚腩配油酥餅。可惜這條烏頭欠缺黃油,不夠肥美。反而微辣的青咖哩配上嫩滑的三文魚腩,效果不錯,可惜油酥餅放得太久時會變韌。甜品拼盤有榴槤塔,千層糕,香芒糯米飯及千層窩夫伴雪糕。由於小Bu跟我都不吃榴槤,所以我們不知榴槤塔味道如何,至於千層糕及香芒糯米飯就甜味略淡。而我們最喜歡的則是千層窩夫伴雪糕,窩夫香脆,配上芒果雪糕,令人吃不停口。「真係笑咗!」小Bu望著我身後道。「點解?」我問。「你後面枱個兩個男仔真係好脾氣,坐低到宜家食甜品,水都無杯,催左幾次都無人理。」「呢度人手分配有問題,啱啱隔離Gas爐無氣,有成三個伙計去搵Gas,洗唔洗咁多人?」「有啲枱就無人理,有啲枱就好多人理,呢度既人手分配真係要諗諗。」…Read More

看過Openrice食家們對這個以法國為主題的自助餐後,簡直覺得驚為天人,非吃不可,於是便跟小Bu找個藉口到這裡享受。這晚我們準時六時半入座。是日提供美國太平洋石蠔跟新西蘭生蠔。美國的蠔味比較濃,新西蘭的海水味比較重,各有千秋。這裡的生蠔供應源源不絕,不用擔心吃不夠。另外海鮮區還有小龍蝦、龍蝦鉗、青口及最愛的長腳蟹,味道均十分鮮甜。這裡有多款刺身、壽司、手卷選擇。甚至提供在自助餐少見的軟殼蟹手卷。手卷的米飯份量不多,軟殼蟹炸得香脆可口,配上沙津醬,十分美味。這裡的原盅燉湯十分有名。是日提供紅棗圓肉豬𦟌湯及百合豬𦟌湯,兩者均真材實料,喝完亦不覺口渴,想應沒有味精,我足足飲了四盅。熱吃區亦有很多選擇,最多人吃的一定是芝士焗龍蝦和鵝肝,由於人太多,我足足排了五分鐘。我比較喜歡後者,入口即溶,美中不足的是鵝肝只配多士,若果配上梨子去掉油膩就更好。酥皮威靈頓牛柳、田螺焗薯蓉、焗蠔亦不錯,可惜選擇太多,只能淺嘗。這裡有多款法式甜品,賣相吸引。較特別的是法式長泡芙,令人不忍吃掉。「其實呢度有生蠔有鵝肝有法式甜品,好似好抵,但呢個價錢,出去食西餐又好似有好多選擇,咁究竟抵唔抵呢?」我喝著鮮奶咖啡問。「咁你下次食唔食呀?」小Bu反問。「食!」我笑著答。或許這個笑容可以總結這餐自助餐。…Read More

這天放工後相約小Bu先到這裡晚飯,然後去附近的花墟遊樂場行年宵。餐廳凡吃滿$200可以$1任選一款泰式小吃,我們要的是泰式生蝦。雖然是$1,但是生蝦都頗新鮮,配上辣椒生蒜,不錯。「小Bu,呢度用保鮮紙包住隻碟,咁洗既時候可以抆左張保鮮紙,隻碟油都少啲,用水洗一洗就得,好方便。」我自作聰明地說著。「你唔會諗住屋企都係咁呀!」平時少吃蝦的小Bu今日都邊吃邊說。「其實都可以試吓喎,咁我洗碗咪方便啲!」「呢度用保鮮紙係因為下面放左冰,用保鮮紙隔住就唔怕生蝦沾到水。」小Bu權威地說。「係喎,原來係咁。」泰式小食拼盤有蝦餅﹑蝦片﹑魚餅﹑春卷和豬肉串燒,送上時全部都熱辣辣的。熱的炸物永遠不會難吃。這裡的金邊粉偏硬,不過值得一讚的是餐廳將花生碎灑在一邊,令對花生敏感的小Bu也可以吃得方便。槽魚雖然要等45分鐘,但既然小Bu要吃,豈可不等。伙計打開錫紙後香味四散,魚肉滑嫩,配上各種香料,使我們吃過不停。我們倆口子賞完食物就去賞花去。…Read More

「提子田,我好想食URBAN Cafe Commune。」「不如我地先行商場,之後再返黎食啦?」我望著超過十個人的人龍,嘗試說服小Bu。「人龍只會越黎越長,宜家要開始排隊。」我望著小Bu眼睛發亮又充滿威嚴的樣子,只好乖乖地一起去排隊。明明已經是下午兩點,為何人龍從沒有停止過?「小Bu,呢間餐廳設計幾特別,廚房係商場走廊的一邊,座位就係另一邊。餐廳慳左傳菜既地方,話唔定舖租都平啲。」我嘗試提出話題打發時間。「商場一定收埋走廊既舖租!」小Bu權威地說。「你啱。」我無可奈何地和應著「不過呢個設計有一個壞處,就係伙計傳菜時,一唔小心,就會撞到途人,到時就一地野食。」「你估個個都好似你咁輪盡架咩。」三十分鐘終於過去,小Bu一如以住有著選擇困難症。最後我決定要了慢烤法國肥雞跟韓式燒牛肉漢堡。「會唔會太多?」「我很肚餓!」小Bu面無表情的說著。法國肥雞上面舖滿香草,放在枱面時已經聞到香味。可能是慢烤的關係,即管是雞胸肉也十分嫰滑,可況是雞脾。薯條亦炸得香脆,不過美中不足的是部分薯條被雞油浸淋,如果薯條改由另外一個碟另上比較好。韓式燒牛肉漢堡充滿肉汁,煙肉香脆可口,配上小辣的韓式醬汁,以及搽上牛油的白芝麻漢堡,十分惹味。可惜進食時醬汁已經浸淋包底,令人難以整個拎起。「我飽到嘔。」小Bu辛苦地道。兩個套餐對兩個眼寬肚窄(寬)的人來說實在太多,不過望著滿足的老婆,我也感到十分幸福。…Read More
