I was very excited to catch up with a friend and we wanted somewhere we could talk and eat slowly so Korean BBQ was the best option there is. We decided to try out this place and the interior was cosy and spacious, it screamed Korean BBQ the second you step in with all the grills displayed. 🥩We made a booking and when we were led to our table the side dishes were already set out for us. There was a generous variety of side dishes, the usual kimchi, pickled vegetables and lettuce are all there. The kimchi was really spicy so if you like the kick this would be amazing. They also put cheese and kimchi on the side of the grill, after that they pour egg mix on there so when everything starts cooking you also get steamed egg, which can be refilled! 🥚Seorae Special Pork Skirt Meat $158My favourite cut the entire meal. There was plenty in terms of portion and it roasted very well on the grill. The meat was tender and seasoned just right. The fat distribution was also equal and not too greasy or fatty. Dipped in a bit of salt or the spicy sauce and you get a super delicious bit of meat.🍖Jeju Pork Belly $180We knew we had to try the pork belly. It looked amazing and the flavour was rich with clear layers of the pork belly. It wasn't as tender as I expected but it wasn't tough either. Not bad and the portion is great. 👍🏻Chicken Rib with Seorae Soy Sauce $110The chicken meat cooked super well on the grill, it was extremely tender and soft. It's been marinated in the Seorae soy sauce so it's very rich but also on the salty side, I didn't expect it and even dipped a bit of salt which was a bad idea. Much better when eaten with the lettuce wrapped around it though. The texture makes up for it! 🍗Spicy Squid $150Giant squid in portion. You can definitely taste the spice, it's very fresh and the meat remains tender and easy to chew even after grilling. I always feel like grilled squid gets tough really easily but surprisingly this didn't. They offer you scissors so having cut up the cooked squid into pieces it chewed easy and the flavour was sweet and fresh as well. I especially loved the tentacles, chewy but with a little bit of crunch as well. 🦑Set of Mushrooms $100My other favourite dish. Don't underestimate the mushrooms on the grill, we knew after all that meat we'll need some veggies to balance it out and the mushroom totally hit the spot. There were a variety of mushrooms and they were juicy and thick, very fresh mushrooms and have a really nice grilled taste that gets better when eaten with meat or dipped in some sauce. 🍄Buckwheat Noodles with Cold Broth $85I was so excited to try this because I've never had buckwheat noodles in cold broth before. It was surprisingly refreshing but not tasteless either, it almost served as a great palette cleanser after eating so much meat. The coldness of the rich broth worked great to cool us down and the noodles were chewy and delicious, especially when added with a little bit of mustard sauce. I was not disappointed! 🍜Seafood and Green Onion Pancake $90Not bad for a seafood green onion pancake with a great portion. Honestly, there was more pancake than seafood but the general taste is not too salty and has a nice flavour. It has a lot of green onions in there so it's quite sweet as well with the green onion. The pancake is soft in the middle and crunchy on the outer parts but it a bit on the greasy side so I guess it's better for sharing with large groups. 🍳Bibimbap with Cheese in Stone Pot $85Came in bubbling hot with plenty of melted cheese on top, a great choice for those who don't want meat in their bibimbap. It has a nice balance of sweet and sour in the tomato rice and the cheese elevates it nicely. The cheese-pull test was 100% successful. There's even a really crispy layer of burnt rice at the bottom. 🧀Generally a lovely Korean BBQ place. The service was good, when the gas ran out at our table they changed it for us immediately and respond really quickly whenever we needed anything. The food was not mind-blowing but definitely decent and the variety was great. Definitely would recommend it for those who want to just enjoy some time chilling with friends while doing some self grilling Korean BBQ. 😋…Read More
