大約12:15去到已經有少少人龍,不過只等左5分鐘就可以入座,喺覲塘食lunch 黎講已經好ok.黎得當然唔食海南雞飯,午餐可算餐飲或椰子雞湯,當然揀咗湯一試啦。出餐亦好快,雞係唔錯,嫰滑皮薄,無乜肥,個醬亦都出色,油飯亦都做得幾香,個湯好濃椰子香味,但飲完係口渴到一個點,成個下晝都喺度飲水。$58個午餐算性價比唔錯,但份量唔大,女仔ok, 男生可能差啲。…Read More

食物質素高 有驚喜 值得一試

8月是我的生日月,所以不停四出搵食。幾年前JAMIE'S ITALIAN開業時已經想到此一嚐,但不知為何一直都沒有來過,這星期日,終於來到Jamie's Italian。大約一點到餐廳,未有太多人,我們兩人坐到半圓的卡座,座位間空間充足,環境、燈光非常舒適。先點了一杯passion fruit mojito,感覺清新,唔會太甜。再看看menu,都是非常classic之菜式。starter 點了 Mussels in'nduja cream sauce, classic dish - spicy italian meat balls因為前一晚去了King Kudwig 食豬手,所以今晚main 點了venetian seafood stew, fish in a bag. 店員見我們點了mussels,建議我們點一客garlic bread。剛焗出來的garlic bread,香味四溢,中間塗了香草🌿、butter、garlic ,麵包好light,鬆軟可口,雖然塗了butter,但入口仍覺輕盈。再加埋mussel 個sauce 好好食!極之推介!mussels都未食到一半,跟著上的並不是meat balls,而係main dish seafood stew 味道很好,只係海鮮份量唔太多,得一隻大蝦,一顆帶子,少量魚、蝦仔、蜆等到呢個時候,我們要特別請店員暫緩上其他菜,因為上菜太快,來不及食已經凍左⋯⋯少少美中不足。當我們食到差不多,再示意可以再上菜,但還是未見meat balls ,反而上了fish in a bag, 其實係以紙包住魚去焗,一打開包著的紙,已聞到香味撲鼻,魚焗得剛好,sauce以蕃茄、香草、garlic、洋蔥等調制,再灑上點點檸檬汁提味,將原本平平無奇嘅龍脷處理得極之出色!最後發現原來店員漏了meat balls的單,所以原來的starter終於出場。常常在電影上看到Jamie 煮不同的菜式,meat balls 係其中一樣他經常煮的家庭菜式,所以有一點特別的期待,但meat balls 實在令我失望,sauce味道很好,但肉質有點乾,估計是焗過了火總體來說,食物水準非常高,未有負Jamie 之名,有些微小失誤,但值得原諒,食物份量足、價錢亦合理。…Read More

食物差 服務亦差 簡直係浪費時間浪費錢

難得星期六下午,同阿媽在屯門市中心閒逛,見到之前Baby Cafe 的位置開左新嘅Cafe,諗住去望望。門口嘅menu只有飲品,我地以為只得飲品想轉身離開時見到店內客人嘅枱上有食物喎,又回頭再找餐牌睇完一輪,想入去坐,但完全無人理我地(當時餐廳人亦唔多),咁我地見到有位就坐低,再示意先有人絲絲然過來。望望餐牌,飲品選擇多,但價錢唔平,定價$48-58一杯左右。因為只係下午茶,只點左avocado seafood tartare, baked portobello mushroom with cheese,  cappuccino, 同一杯菠蘿薄荷茶。飲品先到,唔難飲但實在係無咩特別,諗唔到點解可以收人$50一杯。cappunccino 都要$38:(avocado seafood tartare 亦跟住到,份量細到一個點⋯⋯所謂seafood係上面有些好細嘅蝦、三文魚 (好腥)同八爪魚咁,又係只可以話唔難食。食完再等左約5-10分鐘,個焗磨菇仲未黎,(佢一埋黎就問係咪埋單),一問之下原來漏單⋯⋯只點左兩樣食物,點菜時落單個妹妹仲喺張單畫左兩個大圈⋯⋯都漏。咁佢話即刻整叫我等5分鐘,阿媽話費事人地難做,我地就再等多5分鐘。5分鐘後磨菇出現,正常都會跟把刀方便客人切開吧⋯⋯?完全無餐飲服務嘅經驗同水準。好不容易切開,一送進口中⋯⋯只係微暖,唔係岩岩焗出黎嘅咩???原來根本未焗熱、磨菇中間仲係生架咁樣都可以拎出黎serve客?實在完全接受唔到囉!咁嘅食物質素、咁嘅服務再加咁嘅價錢(埋單$220),真係唔會有人想食囉⋯⋯絕對唔會再去!…Read More

父親節快到,所以開始尋覓新的地方跟爸爸慶祝。爸爸是傳統的人,只喜歡中菜、最愛海鮮,但普通中菜又好像沒有什麼特別,找著找著就找到榮哥私房菜,見之前的食評不錯,就一行十人去試試。 確認訂枱後就從whatsapp收到了本月菜單,需先預訂菜式及付訂金,以便準備食物。看了覺得預設菜單選擇少,所以決定散點,可以多試幾個菜式! 因人多,而家散點是例牌的份量,我們幾乎點了menu上每一個菜。 脆皮豆腐滷水鴨舌開煲菜 亂炒王 藍龍蝦湯煮 / 上湯龍蝦煮椒鹽鮮魷 盤龍鱔 黑毛豬叉燒 清湯蝴蝶腩 茶王燻雞 手撕雞 脆皮牛仔腩 配咖哩 海斑爆米泡飯 奄仔蟹粥 P.S 原本還點了九轉豬大腸,但付責人稱最近沒有供貨,與豬大腸無緣。 服務實在有待改善 - 訂枱是7pm, 當日下午5點幾通知我所訂的4 隻藍龍蝦的其中一隻質素不太好,建議我轉普通龍蝦,這一點我是appreciate的。 - 菜單上其實還有上湯浸時蔬,當天到達餐廳,他們已將印好的菜單放桌上,並著我們double check,我已即時告知付責人漏左,而他亦回應廚房的菜單是有的,著我放心,但最後上湯浸時蔬沒有出現過。 - 分海斑爆米泡飯的小姐好似第一天番工咁,1 鍋泡飯分9 碗,頭一兩碗滿到瀉但無泡飯,最後嗰兩三碗無唒湯得啲飯,佢分完就轉身走左,最後我地自己再分過 - 分奄仔蟹粥的另一位小姐仲好笑,一樣係1 鍋奄仔蟹粥,我地有9個大人1個BB,佢拎左7個碗就開始分,咁我同佢講我地有9個人,佢完全沒有回頭,只回「呢個蟹粥係4個人份量」,於是我問「咁你諗住比邊7個人食、邊兩個人無得食?」,佢又係頭也不回「咁我去拎兩個碗囉」。完全唔明佢嘅logic????????? - 賬單混亂,埋單時已經再一次提上湯浸時蔬是沒有出現過,5分鐘後賬單上還是有,再印第兩次,仲係有。第三次,佢delete 左個菜名,但總數無變,只show 一個總數,老實講,我都唔知佢最後有無計我錢。(我站在櫃台等重印賬單時,聽到旁邊桌的賬單一樣是出錯重印....... 最後埋單約$650一個人,唔算好貴,但以這價錢,食物份量偏少、服務差,只此一次,唔會想再黎。以$650/head 質素更好的中菜多的是。 …Read More

星期五晚上,gough street 好熱鬧,與朋友約7:45分到餐廳,餐廳還未有其他客人。餐廳雖小,但環境、座位舒適,完全不覺得迫,枱與枱之間有足夠空間,後來其他客人陸續入座,仍可以舒服地跟朋友談天說地。服務亦非常好,知道我們第一次來,主動介紹食物,因為我們只有兩個女生,點了一個4-course set 另加lobster! 朋友要養生🤣所以未有點酒🙂頭盤是 pan fried scallops, 火侯控制準確、表面小小焦香,好食!知道這裡龍蝦湯出名,當然要試啦!老闆亦細心把湯分開兩小杯上,湯頭濃郁、非常鮮味,但不會太咸(最怕這類濃湯過咸而不鮮)。Main course 點了必試的mussels, 餐牌上寫白酒煮,但老闆推介以啤酒🍻煮更出色,絕對可以一試!mussels 以bucket 熱騰騰送上,香氣撲鼻,份量十足!立即打開第一隻送入口,青口非常Juicy, 湯汁帶淡淡啤酒、洋蔥、西芹等的味道,非常清新。👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😋另一main course, 點了一客大龍蝦,份量不小,調味、火候都是prefect!雖然老闆說apple crumble 最受歡迎,但我還是算了我最喜歡我creme brûlée 😁焦糖香脆,燉蛋滑溜,不過沒有放Vanilla seeds,少了一個層次。食物質素高、份量足、價錢非常合理, 服務很好,一定會再來,支持小店!…Read More

早已聽聞過龍蝦包,上星期四終於有機會到中環店一試。小小店面,約有20-30個快餐形式的吧枱座位。我到的時候還未到7點,只有三數名客人。先點了lobster roll, scallop roll, loaded lobster fries 以及2枝啤酒,共$461。在半開放式廚房旁邊坐下來,準備食物的情況一目了然。廚房設備簡陋,兩位工作人員正在工作,將一小包一小包的急凍龍蝦、帶子翻熱,放到包上,再淋上預先準備的牛油,便放到盤子上再送到客人面前。數分鐘後,我們點的已送上,份量還可以。先試一口龍蝦包,包帶微溫、龍蝦外面是暖的但中間還未完全解凍、上面的牛油亦不是熱的,味道是可以,但因牛油不熱,有一種冷掉後的油膩感。再嘗一口帶子,也是微溫的,更嘗到冷藏的味道。Loaded lobster fries 還可以,龍蝦份量也合理,但味道沒有驚喜。整個意念都是好的,但實際執行上未達到水平。如果廚房只有簡單翻熱食物,半開放式的廚房設計反而露出弱點,沒有為食物加分。另外,龍蝦與帶子,甚至是麵包本身的質素也不差,但翻熱、加上熱騰騰的牛油這些簡單的情況卻未有做好,令食物減分。$138可以一試,但不值得再次回味。…Read More
