I agree with the previous reviewer. The dishes are generally carefully executed, but not tasty. We had: (1) a creamy soup with burrata and caviar (5/10): good ingredients, but the soup lacks depth and tasts one-dimensional with a dull creamy favour.(2) pollock fish with beatroot and cheese foams (6.5/10): the fish is well cooked, nice texture, but has no fish taste (to be clear, I don't mean it in a good way). The fish is, to quote my friend, "tasteless". I find it acceptable, but then again, I am someone who puts almost zero salt in my food. So I can imagine that the fish might come across as bland to many people.(3) chicken with (soy source?) (2/10): disappointing. The chicken is tender and a tad too pink for my taste (not poisonous pink of course). The taste is at best mediocre (in fact, it is not ostensibly better than the chicken in the chicken rice I had on my flight to HK). The presentation shows zero effort. The whole dish feels like an afterthought rather than the main dish. (4) pineapple soup+chestnut/chocolate tart+almond ice cream (8/10): compared to the savoury dishes, the dessert is good. The three mini-desserts complement each other. Each is well-executed. Finally, the service is also not on par with the other Michelin starred restaurants that we have been. The waitors sound bored when they explain the dishes. Not one time did anyone asked us how the dishes were before we asked for the bill.For 1000+ per head, I would not recommend it to my friends.…Read More
