one word, horrible. both of us ordered steak, both are medium, one is at least 25% smaller than the other. the staff actually wanna pass it off saying it is a different cut, and only take it away whem I say, let me take a picture of both plate and have the public decides.how much I like it is summarized by how my cutlery is places. i came here for restaurant week lunch, and it is a good choice over the weekend.  not super packed, so you can relax and enjoy yourself quite comfortably for an extended lunch.for $198, the set lunch came with a glass of  sparkling, a coffee, salad, a main of strip loin with a side of salad with feta cheese and avocado, and a mini dessert platter of cheese cake, panna cotta, cream puff, and brownie. The complimentary bread basket was served nice and warm, and the waiter helped add the salad dressing after the salad has been served is a nice touch.  the strip loin was yummy, and aside from the cream puff, i enjoyed the dessert platter.  i am never a fan of cream puff, but this one is quite dry.…Read More

i think it has started off bad already....appearently the waitress can not seat me because i arrived at 11 59am and it does not open until 12 pm.  honestly, does that one minute makes such a huge difference you need to walk through the entire restaurant and ask another worker what to do.  so i just sat myself down and ask for her for a menu, any further exchange seems ridiculous, especially when i am in a rush.Their lunch sets seem attractive enough so i ordered the pad thai, it comes with a drink and free flow of soup, salad and prawn crackers you grab on your own.  i will give the prawn crackers a plus, the the tung yum soup is so watery tasteless, omg just dont bother serving it.i was seriously getting impatient when the watch struck 12 20pm and my pad thai is nowhere in sight. i need to flag the waitress and ask her to find out what happened.  she came back and told me the chef is still making it....after 25 minutes....really?!  i cant believe the noodle is still kind of hard, after boiling for over 20 minutes! the taste was pretty good for the pad thai, but the wait time for such a simple almost fast food thai noodle that ends up half cooked is ridiculous.  good bye~ never again…Read More

what a disappointing start to restaurant week!  Totally expecting way way wayyyyy better from the gordon ramsey name!For restaurant week, it was a 3 course meal at $398, and it was absolutely not worth it!i will admit the starter was absolutely delicious! so i was really looking forward to my main course.you know those spring onion oil chicken 薑蔥雞 you find in chinese bbq stalls? i dont distinguish much difference from them....except this spring chicken is heated up and serve on top of a layer of oil. so gross! oh, i forgot to mention...you can easily buy a huge chicken at the chinese bbq stalls for less than $100!ummmm...they gave this a fancy smancy long name of eton mess, starwberries, chantilly, meringue~ to me it is whip cream with frozen strawberries.enough said how much i enjoyed wasting 500 bucksps....i was glad my friend did not order the spring chicken and got fish & chips instead. but wow, even battered fish can have a fishy smell amd taste…Read More

i wouldnt bother going unless you are with someone obseesed about hello kitty. the only reason i didnt have to wait was becoz my friend got a table by 11 30.  comes actual lunch time, people are lining up.honestly, i had a fun time taking pics of hello kitty dim sums, but food taste is just normal, if it doesnt have the kitty gimmick, there will be no line.  they should consider cleaning the bamboo baskets, they were kind of dirty.  alongside myself, i see a few people peeling off the bows and other parts of kitty with coloring before eating hahaha.…Read More

The presentation of the high tea set is pretty, and the services was quite good. one of the waiters came over and chatted with us briefly. he was very friendly and let us know how challenging it is to carry this tea set! I am not a huge fan of sweets, so a little too much for me.  I can understand they need to use icing sugar to write out the brands, but just too sweet with so much chocolates.Great environment, comfortable seating, amd an enjoyable high tea.…Read More
