Finally found a good African dive in Hong Kong! Don’t go by the menu because it’s more of a “some days we have this, some days we have that” menu. But what they had the day I went was yummy! Delicious rice, beans (black eyed peas aka red red), friend fish and plantains. I had to control myself from eating it too fast it was so yummy. The highlight was the perfectly cooked beans - I’m not generally a fan of beans but these were cooked in a way that one can have a serious craving for them. Plantains were moist and perfectly sweet. Fried fish merged beautifully with each bite of rice, beans and plantains.
