隱泉是隱藏於大坑的一家小店。地方雖然陜小,但佈置舒適。這夜點了十來款串燒,想在此跟各位分享其中幾樣。雞肉棒,這個是幾叫人失望的。外表看來是揑得蠻實在的。但咬下去,卻是鬆散欠嚼勁,且味道偏淡,說老實點,其實是沒有甚麼味道。大蔥雞肉和雞翼,跟雞肉棒有着相同問題,就是沒有肉味,也沒有鹽味。可取是燒得濕潤帶燋香。假如能下多點鹽巴,效果必然更好。厚切牛舌,肉厚彈牙,燒得恰度好處。不是太淡,有燋香有咬口,非常好味!燒年糕,一向不愛吃年糕,但這裡的叫人有驚喜。外面香脆,𥚃面軟糯,煙靱味美。總的,這裡師傅燒得有水準,沒話可說。但味道就太過淡口,略嫌味寡。如果不喜重口味,不妨一試。…Read More

一個星期二的晚上,踏進這家有接近40年歷史的老牌扒房。偌大的餐廳,佈置懷舊,只有五,六枱客人在用餐,感覺詭異。但既來之,則安之。姑且一試吧!經侍應先生一輪眉飛色舞,七情上面的介紹,我們便定了今晚的菜單。首先來的兩個湯。男朋友點的onion soup $60 ,只嚐了一口,感覺一般,偏咸。我的cream of mushroom with crabmeat $85,不夠香,不夠滑,亦不夠熱,蟹肉新鮮,但與湯沒有融匯一起,似互不相識。跟著是戲肉的牛扒,點了侍應先生高度推介dry aged AAA牛扒$550,和一份prime rib eye$360,同時食可以比較分別。外型看來是十分相似,但吃著吃著,原來味道口感也沒有兩樣。雖然兩件都十分鬆化但零肉味。而且油脂滿佈,吃後滿口是油。但侍應先生竟將此與和牛相提並論,真是滿咀歪理。熟成牛扒理應肉質比較靱和肉味濃,可能舌頭遲鈍,竟吃不出分別來。還有,兩個甜品是全晚最滿意。cherry jubilee $120,可惜雪糕是雀巢的。Apple pie a la mode $70,蘋果批水準不錯。食物水準不對辦已叫人好失望。最令人氣憤的反而是結賬之時,竟多收$130。是無心之失?是有意?真是天曉得。但一晚賬單也不過十來張,竟也出錯,太不可思議。這裡收費其實與Grand Hyatt Steakhouse差不多,但質素真是天淵之別。如果讓我再選一次,一定不會來這𥚃。…Read More

在雜誌上看到介紹這裡的tea set已經是很多個月以前的事了。這裡的蛋糕一向美艷不可方物,終於有機會來試它一試,心裡是充滿期望。可是甫坐下,就覺得不大對辦。首先用餐的地點是商場裡的通道上,人來人往上厠所,氣氛是有點古怪。再望一望自己坐著的沙發和cushion,竟是佈滿茶漬和咖啡漬。天啊,這可是五星級酒店收費,竟是如斯環境,難以置信。再說食物方面,第一層除了一件名為Sunshine的店方名物,其餘兩件賣相一般,做不出應有的精細,而味道亦欠缺層次感。第二層更令人失望,三杯mousse加朱古力豆,mousse用透明膠杯盛著已欠美感,還要一連三杯,是否有點失衡。mousse 不夠幼滑,味道亦單一。朱古力豆不說也罷,m&m比它更有朱古力味更可口。最底一層是咸點,有三文魚青瓜三文治,是整個高茶亮點,外形美觀又味美,拍案叫好之作。另外,旁邊有二件餃子,餃子本身味道一般,但離奇地放在這裡,是否有點兀突不協調呢!?總之,付出與所得不成正比。…Read More

連續三年取得米芝蓮一星的榮譽,相信師傅的功夫不用置疑。擇了好日,就來會他一會。是夜點了各式冷盤,主菜,點心,甜品。但這裡只講其中幾樣印象最深刻的。最好:龍井蝦仁,河蝦新鮮爽脆,外貌晶瑩,完全沒有梳打粉味,可說是我吃過的清炒蝦仁中,數一數二最可口美味。完全體現食材的鮮美。最失望:富貴雞,$388,這是一個要預定的菜式,可能因此期望便高了。這應該是荷香滲滿雞肉,甚至雞骨的一道菜。但這裡的香味不夠濃郁,味道雖然也不錯,但就是沒有荷香。而且雞胸部份也粗糙,不夠juicy 。最差:蟹粉豆腐,$238,天生怕食茨汁,越濃稠越不喜歡,所以這個就不對胃口了。而且蟹粉不夠,更顯得削。覺得這類茨汁,只適合做飯盒,不明何以會在這種飯店出現。…Read More

叫作專門店,其實有沒有標準。試了一個二人傳統豆腐鍋餐 $258。豬肉豆腐鍋-韓式泡菜+豆腐+豬腩肉,如果三樣分開食,問題是不大的。豆腐嫩滑,泡菜辛辣,豬腩肉亦嫩口,但當泡菜湯遇上嫩豆腐,就發出一陣奇怪酸臭味。起初還以為用了過期豆腐,但分開進食時,那種怪味又消失了。再說回辣泡菜湯底,辣味是比較單調,沒有辣椒香,與正宗韓式餐廳的比較,是不太一樣。炒粉絲,捧出來時是熱騰騰很夠香的,外形亦有九分像。但吃落似上海炒面,可能醬油是用中式的,所以就炒不出個韓式神韻。說實在也不難吃,但就是不像樣。牛肉石頭鍋飯,石鍋夠熱,能做出飯焦效果,很不錯。飯的濕度亦適中,但最敗筆是供攪拌的辣醬,欠缺應有的甜味,只一味的死辣,令整體變得單調,欠缺層次感。總結,這個專門店可能很專門,但卻一點也不正宗,有形無神的韓式餐廳。…Read More

男朋友説要吃韓國烤肉,就來到金巴利道,這裡近年新店一間接一間的開張,已經變成了小韓國。上次試過不太滿意的豐園,今次選了隔幾間的明洞屋。內部裝飾是非常大路的韓式餐廳。抽風設備不太好,空氣中漓漫著一點油煙味,不過地方是潔淨的。先上枱的是免費的八小碟配菜,有辣泡菜,青瓜,大豆芽,菠菜,茄子等等。地道滋味,但份量偏少,不過可以refill。再來是兩款烤肉,我們點了牛肋骨和牛舌。牛肋骨$268份量頗大,可説是我在本地吃過的,件頭最大。除了近骨位有筋比較靭,其餘部份肉質鬆化,牛味濃郁。韓式醃製味道,亦非常地道。讚!牛舌$148有八片,厚度適中,爽口彈牙。煮久亦不會靭,肉香四溢,非常香口。讚!冷麵$108麵條味道像麥麵,但麵質是煙煙靭靭,以辣泡菜加雪梨為配料,辣中帶甜,很是惹味。服務員都很有禮貌,態度親切,笑臉迎人,不時添茶及清理碗碟。這家店取價公道,食品地道,值得推介!…Read More
