I've never been a fan of Chinese ppl who try and open a Western cafe, with no understanding or knowledge of Western food. This is just another one of those, appealing to the local palette. We ordered 2 lattes and 2 pastas, both of which were not served at the same time. The mushrooms and truffle cream spaghetti was served first and it tasted sweet, yes, I said sweet! And there was not a whiff of truffle at all. I sat there eating while my friend watched. Serving at the same time is hospitality 101! When my friend finally got her pesto pasta with green apple and asparagus, I told the waitress my pasta was too sweet. She went and told the chef and I cld hear him say he didn't add any sugar. But she never came back to the table, there was no offer of remaking the dish or a discount or basically any customer service at all. My friend's pasta wasn't sweet, it was just bland and tasteless. All in all a very disappointing lunch (not that I expected much to begin with to be honest) And there is no way I'd ever go back.
