猶記得剛開業時吃過的燒賣,質量還是正正常常的,就是隨處可見的那種。今天吃了一盒,一看到就不開胃,完全不知道是甚麼拌出來的「謎肉」,看起來有點灰灰的,感覺是很劣質很廉價的肉,但實在沒時間再出門買早餐了,上班途中可不能溜出來啊,於是唯有硬食了。雖然的確也多少感受到一些疑似蝦肉碎,但那肉質真的這輩子不想再吃第二次了。圖片上明明是原隻蝦仁放在最上面,現在沒有了,感覺就有種被騙的感覺,貨不對版啊。姐姐的服務還是挺好的,但實在拯救不了這品牌的食物水平啊。…Read More

炸蝦天婦羅脆漿太厚,內裡的蝦肉則是史上吃過最幼的,於是就似是吃炸麵粉,幾乎吃不出蝦肉。唯一的優點是,這是出菜最快的一道菜。滑蛋炸豬扒飯飯煮得太淋太軟身,似是煮飯時水下太多,影響口感,這白飯真的不是太好吃。滑蛋份量極少,豬扒炸得不脆,這招牌菜實在不太吸引。豚肉麵豉湯(大)因為很少本地日式料理店有豚汁賣,其實我是特意為了這個才來這間店。而它的湯其實非常足料,用的是位置比較好的豬肉片,可以一塊一塊吃下肚,遠遠優勝於另一家日式連鎖店的100%白花花豬肉肥脂粒麵豉湯,完全不能吃還要得逐塊挑出來。但再足料我都只能給三星,因為真的過咸了,估計是鹽下多了,要不就是用了過咸的麵豉醬品牌,所以我是挺失望的。浪費了一窩好料。…Read More

見這間連鎖店這麼有名,於是我試點了招牌湯包、春卷、燒賣和牛肉球。招牌湯包:$5 小小的一個,至少要點兩三個才夠飽,慘在肉非常少,自然也沒感受到多少肉汁,近乎全素的錯覺。吃後只有失望,求其一間廣式飽點都比它好吃,難怪開店的人潮現在盡散,門可羅雀。但能夠以包子風魔全國,估計是其他地區流行這種少肉少汁的一口小包子,只是不合廣東人的口味吧?春卷:不是咸口的豬肉春卷,而是甜口的罐頭水果沙津春卷,味道酸酸甜甜其實還不錯,不過有些人不吃甜春卷,所以特意說明一下。外皮炸得挺鬆脆,我用紙巾抹過上面的油,意外地沒有多少,紙巾抹完沒有變透明,只有零星幾滴,估計有事先墊過吸油紙處理。牛肉球:尺吋挺大,肉汁多,缺點是韭菜拌太多。可能不熟悉制作點心,三球之中有一球是苦的,並非變質的苦味,而是新手常犯錯誤,鹽沒拌勻或不小心切到牛膽邊料來拌,實在太難吃,唯有直接丟棄了。燒賣:正常的尺吋和味道。相比起又小又不特別好吃的小包子,我對這家的點心比較有興趣,可能以後也只會過來買點心,下次想試試翠苗蝦餃。幾位阿姨的服務非常禮貌熱情,值得一讚。…Read More

非常推薦忘憂的黑芝麻爆漿麵包,飽滿的低甜度內餡,微微起沙的口感,配上柔軟的湯種麵包,味道極好。牛油曲奇和咖啡曲奇也是我常購的早餐和零食,是市面上難得的低甜度曲奇,買來做新年年貨和散水餅都不失禮,連平常不喜甜食的母親也搶著吃了大半。我最欣賞這間店的地方有兩處,一是香港難得的熱情服務,二是相對低甜度的口味,不論是曲奇還是麵包,甜度都是剛剛好,是較健康的選擇。麵包和曲奇的品質不輸附近兩間有名的連鎖麵包店,可惜人流一直不算多。…Read More

路過檔口時,偶然聽到有兩位路人說:「呢間 d 馬豆糕好正架!」於是我就看了看這些糕點,有位阿姨也在旁邊看看,於是我就說說剛才聽到的對話,她馬上開心買了兩份。馬荳糕的整法跟廣式糕點很不同,所有買了一塊試試,見不到半粒豆,全都磨成蓉,變成淡黃色的糕點。第一口只覺得,以前吃過的馬荳糕都是白吃了,沒想到這制法更美味十倍,真是食過返唔到轉頭。別的泰國甜品店也沒看到這制法,一般通常只有椰汁糕賣,以後認準這家店先!椰奶椰青糕分成兩層,咬下去非常爽口。而紫米糕的紫米是粒粒分明,感覺不夠軟。吃慣廣式的軟棉口感,有點不習慣爽口的版本。…Read More

難得新一年第一日,試下跳出 comfort zone,唔好次次去親甜品店都叫芒果系列,試下新野先。我點了熱的傳統糖水「椰汁燉雪耳」,再加錢加了兩粒招牌芝麻湯圓。椰汁燉雪耳是用一個傳統的盅盛著,沒想到雪耳的份量這麼多,基本上擠爆了整個盅。雪耳非常滑溜,而且吸滿了椰汁,溫度剛剛好,在冬天吃上去暖呼呼的,味道真不錯。走出  comfort zone 試下芒果以外的糖水真不錯。菜單上寫著「推薦」的芝麻湯圓,老實說覺得非常普通。尺寸不大,芝麻的份量自然也不會有爆漿的感覺,也沒有很香的芝麻味道,下次還是不加了。…Read More

見平安夜免外賣運費,選了大半個小時,終於敲定這間跟油塘很接近但絕對不會特意行天梯去食的地方。叫了燒鵝脾叉燒瀨粉,配眉豆瘦肉例湯。燒鵝脾真是沒叫錯,皮薄如A4紙,底下幾乎沒有肥膏,微微脆口,咬下去有肉汁,卻沒有油膩感。適合喜歡皮薄瘦脾的人呢,非常推薦,日後也會再叫。叉燒則是劣到核爆,其中最大舊的一件是100%肥膏,根本應該拎去掉,而不是放到我的食盒去湊數。每件都是切得很大而不規則,肥膩而沒有蜜香,感覺上隨便買貨隨便亂烤隨便亂切,毫不講究極了。少數登上我的黑名單的地獄級叉燒,想來想去都沒有想到更差的,做到咁難食,建議不如從餐單刪除。眉豆瘦肉例湯還不錯,味精當然免不了,勝在很足料,細細的碗就有三大塊肉,所有肉和眉豆都吃光了。只可惜湯渣多的話,湯的份量就相對減少了。瀨粉和湯底都有各自分開來放,沒有泡在一起,這點挺細心。份量對我來說剛剛好,不過如果可以選擇扣底或加錢增加份量會更佳。…Read More

做足功課先去這間店吃飯,最驚艷的是烤矮瓜,名不虛傳的美味,非常推薦,必點美食。花甲粉的味道還不錯,花甲數量和大小都是普通啦,但一碗竟有高達兩至三人份的粉絲!我獨自去吃,只能非常勉強地吃完一半,再帶走一半。問題是帶一半回家次天再吃,隔夜後的味道當然沒那麼好。店家應考慮小份量的版本啊!雞軟骨和帶骨腸也烤得不錯,只是雞軟骨的份量有點少和偏細粒。播著輕柔的本地音樂(對於年輕人來說算是2000年代老歌),環境坐得挺舒適,下次定會再來。…Read More

吃了幾口酸辣湯底薯粉,我一直逼自己吃下去,不要浪費食物。但湯底極酸,酸到惡頂,偏又彷彿忘記下足夠的鹽,也沒有認真煮湯,似在不斷加水溝稀的湯水裡狂下酸味粉,難以形容這感覺,最後只能勉強把三餸吃完,麵條只吃了一成,剩下9成留著埋單。能讓我丟下食物不吃,餓著肚子出門再找第二間吃,就僅有此雲貴川分店和「明將」兩店而已。麵店版的「明將」!我滿心佩服地望著旁邊的食客,難怪食飯時間都坐不到四成人,原來不是地點太偏,而是食品湯底太劣的緣故。不得不提店裡特意打星星的墨魚丸,以為有多好吃,魚味太重,活像是吃魚丸,墨魚的味非常非常淡,淡到幾乎吃不到,初頭還以為給錯是魚丸了,看到少許紫點點才發現沒有錯。打星星來幹麼呢?出面隨便找間最普通的急凍墨魚丸都比這家好吃。搞不懂如何開這麼多間分店,還是純粹這間的味道最得人驚。…Read More

生日去吃號稱得獎的紅燒湯麵。我在三寶和豪華版之中猶豫良久,幸好只挑了三寶,沒虧得那麼大。粗麵條有嚼勁,是我喜歡的硬度,牛根最好吃,十分柔軟,而牛肚和牛肉的味道普普,切得小小的,不太吸引,這就差不多上百元。最大問題是湯底,可能因為是午市剛開門的關係,顏色淺如魚蛋粉清湯的顏色,將美好的麵條毀得一乾二淨,這回還真是清湯掛麵。心感不秒,一喝之下,應該是這幾十年人生中有史以來喝過最劣最淡的湯底,缺乏肉類的清甜味,失望至極。是隨便找一間台式牛肉麵店的湯底都不可能輸給這家店的地步,我錯信了餐單上的「得獎」二字,萬分後悔沒有回市區吃飯。正常發揮的OREO飲品成了唯一的安慰。冇下次。…Read More

多年前吃的時候,遠遠還沒有今天那麼劣。炸魷魚鬚,脆皮極厚,鬚的直徑多數只有 2~3mm 左右,滿 5mm 直徑的就只有三條。簡直有如為脆皮而叫這味小食,80% 脆皮 20% 迷你魷魚鬚,前所未見全港倒數NO.1最差魷魚鬚!香辣脆骨,吃得軟骨位當然是想吃那種爽脆的感覺。不過因為脆皮無敵厚,又是那種 80% 脆皮 20% 軟骨的垃圾比例,根本吃不出爽脆的感覺。因為脆皮太厚佔太高比例,唯有逐粒逐條人手拆,不拆脆皮根本就不知道自己到底在吃什麼!拆完之後,份量之少,連四隻麻將的份量都可能沒有,相信營養師看了都說健康,吃完都不用擔心變肥。就只有地瓜球是正常的好味道,以後只會幫襯地瓜球,沒有別的了。…Read More

從古洞水塘下山後,跟朋友點了兩個下午茶餐,兩人埋單包加一是90元左右。炸魚薯條中的炸魚是驚人地好吃,沒有因為是下午茶而縮細份量。外脆內軟,脆皮不會太厚,薄薄的剛剛好,突出了飽滿帶汁的嫩嫩魚肉,不似很多食店把魚肉都炸老了。以呢個價格段來說,真是香港最好吃的炸魚,下次想食炸魚一定會回來這間分店吃。黑椒牛意炒得還OK,裡頭的野菌很加分,如果可以減減油就好了。冷壓檸檬飲品去了果皮和核,方便飲用之餘,酸度也合我心水,只是朋友非常怕酸就不太喜歡。期待下次在這區行山後再來幫襯…Read More

上次幫襯好好食,沒想到第二次來就中招了。乾炒牛河的河粉本身炒得挺健康,沒有任何一間食店有佢咁少油乾身,食到最底不會見到浸住一湯匙油(連半茶匙都沒有),雖然油少的缺點就是鑊氣不足,只能說減肥人士如我會比較欣賞。而巨大的問題卻在於洋蔥上。我呢世人從未試過食乾炒牛河吃到生洋蔥!要說是半生都抬舉佢,大概是兩成熟有點溫度的洋蔥,連一丁點都沒有透明化,也沒有一丁點的軟化,白雪雪的仍有硬度,但凡入廚新手都知道未熟!未焦糖化的洋蔥,每一口都是辛辣的。好吧,我平時也吃沙律,生洋蔥還是吃得下,半點沒浪費。問題是辛辣的洋蔥搶晒牛河的味道,兩者唔係好夾。如果不是不小心,而是特意炒出爽口辛辣的洋蔥,我想要廚師要搞清楚的是洋蔥的美味在於焦糖化後的甜味,如果要爽口辛辣我自己會去點沙律吃生洋蔥。就像吃甜椒是為了吃它的甜而不是吃它的爽,爽則沒有焦糖化,這就浪費了食物的特點。後來拉了拉下面看,才驚覺這家的乾炒牛河已不是第一次收到劣評,每次還能劣在不同的地方,真是犀利。…Read More
