Given its inconvenient location -- more than 10 minutes' walk from Tai Po station -- this tiny 'teahouse' is very expensive. A set dinner costs $165.00 -- fairly decent soup, main course of fish, chicken, coffee and desert. Luckily, there's no service charge for the time being.The quality of food is OK, yet its service is appalling. Last Sunday was my 4th visit to the restaurant, and the price had jacked up more than 10 percent from last month.There was five of us, and we were each given a small glass of warm water. We ordered 3 set dinners and 2 a la cartes. It was about 6:30pm and only two tables were taken. We waited for more than 20 minutes for the main course, and in the meantime, we were given salads, soups or appetizers. The atmosphere was amiable and more people dropped in.We chatted and ate and enjoyed the food. We drank up the water and asked for more. To our surprise, we were told the restaurant only provides one glass of water free of charge. We voiced out our views to the owner, and the owner, a middle aged lady, didn't bother to listen.We felt being slapped in the face; there's no way we'd ever return to this place.Why would anyone in the restaurant business be so rude and insult her customers??
