Craving for tacos... 🌮 🌮 🌮 Some years ago, i had some really tasty tacos at Eight Grand Cafe Hysan Place. Just checked and found out that it’s no longer in business. Too bad... 布袋澳一直係我嘅家人好喜歡嘅食海鮮點，最主要係為咗食依度好有代表性嘅墨魚刺身🦑，同埋每次媽咪都會順便喺村口嘅乾貨檔買章魚乾返屋企煲湯。墨魚剌身 - 布袋澳嘅代表作。墨魚好新鮮片得好薄，好食過好多日本餐廳。墨魚第二食係炸墨魚鬚，好脆好味。白灼蝦 ～ 新鮮彈牙，我本來敏感但偷偷食咗一隻！唔記得影相添！😋豉椒炒蜆 ～ 好味但汁少咗啲。白灼東風螺 ～ 好新鮮。椒鹽瀨尿蝦 ～ 依碟最貴，雨件大瀬尿蝦盛惠五百幾。雖然好食，但可能下次叫龍蝦可能仲抵啲。菠蘿咕嚕肉 ～ 個人認為比較遜色，肉有啲硬。蒜蓉粉絲蒸扇貝 ～ 蒜蓉略嫌有啲生，但豉油汁就好味，扇貝好厚肉。炒白菜 + 楊州炒飯 ～ ok！不過不失，滿意。旁邊嘅糖水檔，我本人就只愛依度嘅涼粉，加咗奶感覺有啲懷舊。家人話其他糖水口味就似乎麻麻。走之前再睇返吓布袋澳嘅魚村景色都幾舒服㗎！…Read More

道頓堀御好燒，已經食過好幾間，先係尖沙咀K11店，然後分別食過太古店、旺角店、荃灣店。每一次感覺都唔錯，小朋友又有得玩吓。最近開奧海城店，就喺屋企樓下，於是週日落樓食個lunch。早上11:30，啱啱開門我哋係第一枱客。一入店內，覺得四人枱好細，連我哋兩大兩小都好迫。雖然好多位，但店員唔肯比張大啲嘅枱，話係六人枱。算啦，都可以理解嘅。雖然我哋到走都冇人坐六人枱，而兩人客又可以坐四人枱... 感覺依度嘅四人枱比其他店細，叫多少少嘢都冇位放。食物方面，點咗：* 大根胡麻沙律 - 唔錯，幾清新* 燒牛舌 - 好硬，冇味，唔會再叫* 燒腸仔 - 好味* 道頓崛雜錦okonomiyaki - 最易處理，好食* 廣島燒 - ok，但麵身較粗，有啲硬，可能要炒耐啲* 蒸餃子 - 壞了，仲被激到一肚氣蒸餃子之前食過幾好食，今日特登叫兩籠。蒸十五分鐘先有得食，本來好期待。但打開籠時已經有啲「縮」味，再咬一口，我同老公同時食得出酸味，好明顯壞咗。告之侍應，佢居然話係啲醋酸！大佬，我根本無落醋，何況食物壞咗嘅酸同餃子醋酸客人真係唔識分？好啦，佢肯cancel，我哋都無所謂繼續食，仲問緊小朋友要咩甜品，本來諗住叫客pancake。點知個侍應居然再出嚟同我哋講：「餃子係無問題嘅，不過我照同你cancel啦！」言下之意，即係「你哋錯㗎，但我豪比你」咁解？其實，就算佢真係咁諗，係咪做餐廳都可以對客人有少少respect?真係需要出嚟攞個彩？而佢收番嘅第二籠「佢認為」無壞餃子，會否繼續比客人食，就不得而知了。唉... 今日最後甜品都食唔落就走人啦。其實我一向幾鍾意食okonomiyaki，本來係街坊咁方便可以成日嚟幫親，但少我哋一枱唔少... 如果下次再想食，我唯有去另一間分店食啦... …Read More

Spending one night at the Silvermine Bay Resort for a weekend getaway and my British colleagues recommended this restaurant. We did some morning hiking around the waterfall area and finished at 11:20am. The restaurant opens at 12 on weekends so we waited at the beach side for just less than one hour until the restaurant opened.  The building was in fact a previous beach club facility and there were some tables around the balcony area. A lady kindly offered us a table for 6 (We are a family of 4 with 2 kids) as long as we could return the table before 2:30pm. In fact, we were aiming for 1:20pm ferry so of course it'd be okay.However, another waitress wanted us to switch to the 4 seater table and at the end agreed to let us stay where we were provided that we return the table by 2pm. She then mentioned we should start with ordering drinks. Without having a chance to check out the drinks menu in detail, we ordered an iced tea, a fruit punch and a coke. Instead of leaving to place the drinks order she still stayed by the table side and kept rushing us to order food. We didn't have time to go through the menu, first part was bbq food, i was up to the second page and saw some pita, moussaka, etc. We remembered the blackboard on the groundfloor showed dishes like ribeye, lamb chop, etc (some common international dishes) so my husband asked if there were any burgers  (Wanted something kids friendly.)The waitress showed an extremely annoying face, as if we had asked the silliest question on earth, "Burger? This is not a Chinese restaurant!"We were shocked by her rudeness. We kinda mentioned in fact burger is not a Chinese dish but she then just said maybe Chinese liked burgers. Up to that point it was quite clear that her attitude implied that we Chinese should have gone to a Chinese restaurant. We ended up leaving the place.When passing by the bar we told the "kind" lady what happened but she just said something like "Ok burger is American."If the owner of the restaurant would ever read this piece i sincerely hope they understand the waitress could have just said, "Sorry we don't have burgers." Or perhaps they simply do not want to see Asian faces in their restaurant (yet settling in HK!). And next time, if you don't mean to give your customers a bigger table, just don't do it. Chinese/ Asian can also distinguish Mediterranean dishes, but only if they are given enough time to check out the menu. We ended up having a great time at China Bear near the pier. 一星期大大話話都有三至四日喺iSquare或K11食lunch，所以，好多餐廳都經已試過。通常，就算第一次印象普通，都會比多次機會。霞飛係屬於第一次ok，但第二次就發誓唔會再嚟嗰種。第一次，叫咗雪菜肉絲麵同一個配菜(唔記得係乜)，但出咗個水煮魚麵比我。我話錯咗，佢哋轉個頭又比返同一碗水煮魚麵比我。一check單原來落單個叔叔喺水煮魚麵嗰格加咗一棟，於是廚房誤會咗。雖然後來都比返碗雪菜肉絲麵我，但侍應嘅面口就唔係幾好喇……話說回頭，第一次碗麵其實係幾好食嘅。雪菜肉絲炒過另上，咸淡適中，所以我願意再去。第二次，門口帶位個叔叔個樣已經好串，唔願做，冇正眼望過我，隨便指一指示意我自己坐。都係叫咗雪菜肉絲麵，加油炆笋。個笋好硬好韌，根本咬唔開。然後，比咗碗魚香肉絲麵我……又錯？我馬上check單，點知今次係自己寫錯咗！因為都係肉絲，tick錯咗隔離。嘩！個大叔即時串到好似我欠咗佢咁。我自己錯，都唔係想佢換，但話晒都係客，駛唔駛咁受氣！結果，碗麵好甜，一啲都唔好食，油炆笋又甜又韌，我帶住一口甜耶耶食唔飽就離開咗。…Read More

奧海城嘅餐廳依排大洗牌，好多食肆抵唔住貴租被迫搬走，然後，又有新店試水。「靠得住」有啲名氣，而且奧運站頭茶餐廳相對少，自然一開張就大排長龍。適逢週六下午茶時間經過，見唔駛排隊，決定試吓。但企咗喺門口兩分鐘，都冇人帶位，叫個侍應仲越叫越走，第一吓印象分即刻大打節扣。:(之後，因為我哋面前就係一張吉檯，所以決定自己埋位坐，再叫人開茶，今次有人理啦……茶包香香哋，係花茶嚟嘅，都幾特別。我、老公同囝囝三人，點咗以下食物:白灼生腸: 同我童年回憶有啲距離。記憶中生腸應該係白色半透明嘅，唔通以前嘅係漂白？食落有好輕微羶味，但薑葱同辣豉油搭夠，都算幾好食。我下次應該唔會再叫生腸，但可以試其他白灼品種。炸醬麵: 醬汁味道唔錯，麵有勁但唔會過份彈，整體ok。星州炒米: 炒得香口，有辣味但唔過份，乾身唔會太油，我鍾意。椒鹽豆腐: 都幾大碟，塊皮脆得嚟有啲硬，但豆腐好嫩滑。冇附醬汁，要問先比喼汁，不過不失。整體都算滿意，我覺得應該係介乎「笑笑」同「ok」之間，老公話可以用下次會唔會再嚟而衡量，因為都會再嚟，所以比咗「笑笑」，但若排長龍就唔好啦。…Read More

一行四人喺銅鑼灣覓食，因為行完誠品搭𨋢上咗12樓，揀咗依間門面都幾醒神嘅餐廳試吓。其實入嚟之前我有少少懷疑到底有咩食，不過見到餐牌上十二生肖mocktail都幾吸引，同埋環境適合坐低飲嘢。坐落睇真啲原來除咗主食外有好多類似tapas嘅小碟，友人話似鬼佬大排檔。我同另一個女仔朋友叫咗Zodiac mocktail入面嘅rabbit 同monkey。個人最怕啲drinks太酸，依度嘅味道balance得唔錯，好味！首先叫嘅小食係烤粟米。粟米幾甜，加埋少許沙律醬同辣粉，好開胃。蘋果沙律，個dressing啱啱好，可能肚餓，我吔食到一條菜都冇凈，連最後一粒蘋果我都唔放過。Mini burger 本來一客三件，用三種唔同嘅cheese。我哋四個人加咗一件cheddar cheese嘅。塊牛肉做到medium效果，唔會太乾太熟，麵包 外脆內軟，抵讚！整體嚟講都唔錯。Buffalo drumsticks，另外兩個朋友話雞槌有啲鹹，我反而覺得ok。個汁少辣，而且keep住肉身都算juicy。個人最鍾意係跟著落嚟嘅tacos！中間係炸魚同少許紅椰菜，dressing夠野味，而且好重手，炸魚有少許spice嘅味道，食落口好滿足！Two thumbs up！最後，依個貌似甜品嘅其實係macaroni cheese，個sauce都幾好味。我個人好怕macaroni cheese唔夠汁，依個就唔會乾身。美中不足嘅係，女仔都係鍾意叫個甜品收尾，而依度就選擇唔多，只有雪糕。我哋每人叫咗杯Earl Grey雪糕，掛住食唔記得影相。雪糕有茶味仲有啲茶碎，奶味唔太重，我鍾意！不過如果可以再多啲甜品款式就更好！總括嚟講，依晚大部份食物都有驚喜，下次會再嚟！…Read More
