呢間小店位於柴灣公工業區附近嘅屋苑商場地鋪,離地鐵站有點距離,係好幾年前一次路過無意發現嘅,街坊小店嘅門面,但掛住豬扒大王的招牌,好奇心驅使我地第一次走進店內,一食就六年!亦都因為開店時間至凌晨,呢度簡直係我呢啲夜鬼嘅善堂餐廳係家庭式經營嘅小店, 老闆做大廚,老闆娘就負責打點樓面,暑假時間有時仲會有個同餅印小幫手!叫得豬扒大王,餐廳就係主打豬扒乜乜乜,有飯啦有湯粉啦炒粉啦仲有撈丁。睇返貼响牆嘅訪問,呢度嘅豬扒係老闆自己手dirt同生炸,唔會同鬆肉粉。而我嘅number one menu就係登登登:豉油汁豬扒飯加隻蛋!豬扒係即叫即炸,之後會剪成一口大小先上碟,每一口都金黃鬆化,亦因爲冇味精所味道好簡單,冇多餘嘅調味,每次宵夜時段食到都會幸福感爆燈,等耐少少都值得!除咗豬扒之外,荷包蛋都係佳作,流心,脆邊,冇得彈另外都要推薦number two menu炒米粉,鑊氣一流又唔會太油至於用餐感受,睇到好多留言話老闆娘成日面黑黑,可能由於我地好多時都係十點打後先嚟,人少少,冇需要招呼入座,可以自己搬枱自己搵位坐,所以我地冇咩受過氣,而且佢有時都會好貼心㗎。同埋呢,其實老闆娘連打招呼同byebye都係同一個樣㗎!有美食嘅地方,希望可以一直幫襯啦…Read More

To celebrate mid of the week we are looking for a relaxing place for lunch. I took recommendation of colleague in picking this restaurant which has been quite hot on ig recentlyThe shop is located at the junction of causeway bay, wanchai and happy valley, accurately described by its name "San Ka La" (meaning far far away in canton). Recommend to get there by road transport instead of metro if you are navigating on the island side.We arrived early at around noon, there was not much ppl yet so are promptly arranged for seat. Interior design is in industrial style mixed with a bit of old HK vintage. Very lovely and photo friendlyToday we ordered a set of steak and a seafood paella out from the lunch menus for sharing. The sets come with freshly cooked pumpkin soup, novelly served with a spring roll, and a cup of apple juice.The steak looks gorgeous and is in big portion, but it is not quite in line with the medium doneness we ordered.The paella is on the contrary very small in size and the rice isnt dry as we expected. Friday is for comfy eating! Having to stay in island side for whole week breathing in too much of hustle, we head to TST for some goodies Today we pick this floom floom cafe for a long lunch. The restaurant is located on a commercial building around mtr station, tho quite hidden (entrance blocked by road side parking), is still kinda easy to reach. :)Interior is in fresh and artistic design, spacious sitting with relaxing atmosphere. This building may not be a popular lunch spot so we are promptly and politely arranged to a sofa seat at window side. Quick and accurate ordering.We ordered one mantaiko and shrimp pasta and one signage all-day breakfast for sharing. It takes a while for the food to be served as they are all made-to-order. Foods are freshly cooked and nicely presented!Cream sauce tastes quite natural without excessive seasonings, leaving the focus on mantaiko. The shrimps are surprisingly good, fresh and crisp texture.The breakfast plate is with big portion and satisfactory quality. Worth noting is the avocado toast which is heated with some butter at bottom. Very detail-minded serving!This baked apple rings with cinnamon is also part of the all day breakfast!Although the price isnt low at all but the food definitely justify it. 每次去開東九龍都一定要來報到,係充滿童年回憶嘅地方。雖然呢間食店開業只係幾年,但住開藍田嘅朋友對佢一定唔陌生。佢嘅前身係响藍田地鐵站口嘅一間泰國菜館,我由小學食到中學,經歷咗佢幾次因租金太高而結業,更難忘嘅係每次結業前會約返一大班朋友去食,仲有街坊們都會排長龍去買招牌咸肉,然後會失落,然後再靜候佢再開業嘅消息。今次再回歸開咗响油塘一個小屋苑商場,初次嚟就唔算易搵。店面細咗,食物種類就改為主打粉麵,但都夠晒殺食啦呢次用餐時間係周末既下午,人唔算多, 坐响室內位, 大部份嚟嘅食客同我地一樣唔駛睇餐牌都識落單。平時我嘅必點之選係咸肉豬紅泰粉,咸肉出色唔駛介紹,反而佢嘅豬紅特別夠味好食就少啲人知喎!不過由於近期要戒口,所以就點左咸肉魚蛋泰喇,後來再望返餐牌先知原來魚蛋都係隱藏食品嚟有餸有粉有芽菜,有啲滷水汁要搞吓先好食。湯頭一定夠熱,咸肉如常極品,就算點咗湯都勁脆口,魚蛋又夠彈牙,基本上每次水準都好穩定泰國菜博大精深,以往係泰國食過好多都唔係呢啲料,湯頭又大多有內臟,反正我對最正宗嘅泰粉係冇咩概念,所以全球最好食我會揀呢間而且長大後仲能夠把最原始嘅童年味道分享俾喜歡嘅人,我食出嘅仲有一份感激嘅心情, 希望老闆會一直做落去啦!…Read More

打工仔惡夢星期一又到,慰勞自己好方法首選當然係食個long dinner就返男朋放工響九龍搵食又要易泊車,九龍城最好不過。從住附近嘅同事八卦得知呢間叫做"大邊爐"嘅火鍋店,聽落似係新潮啲嘅食店,同事話係泰菜同潮州菜以外嘅好選擇喎餐廳係一間樓上鋪,位置響城南道上面,入口有大招牌好易搵。好咗係平日,好快就可以安排入坐。空間幾闊落,冷氣都好足,平日可以坐耐少少。火鍋湯底同配料都選擇多,而宜味味都啱食,實在考起有選擇困難嘅我整體用餐經驗都好開心,除咗味味都好食,職員都好友善,主動換碟!又多一個好去處…Read More

過去兩個週末都待忙搬屋和清潔,搵食只好隨意點,都在太古城解決最方便。這間拉麵店據知已開了一段時間,在以前的towngas鋪,唯每次餓鬼mode經過都要排隊。可能因為區內近期多開咗一間拉麵店,排隊人龍目標轉移咗,我嘅機會就嚟喇這間過江龍麵店主打沾麵,是城市一點的味道。拉麵食得多,但沾麵這才是第四次,除了因為偏好幼身麵,亦都因為第一次響香港食沾麵嘅不愉快經驗(魚介拉麵咸到痴線),所以行入去個刻係冇咩期待同期望嘅。店入面裝潢木材為主,幾有日本小店氣氛。今次我點咗大勝軒沾麵($62),男朋就點咗拖羅叉燒沾麵($82),兩碗都揀咗暖麵。基本上唔同價位嘅麵同湯係一樣嘅,係配料唔同。我一直都以為沾湯都係傑tart tart嘅,呢度嘅竟然又恰到好處,只係比一般湯麵底濃味少少,不過就唔算好熱。配上也是暖暖地嘅麵,夏天食又算幾易入口喎!麵嘅份量係連男友都食唔晒嘅。最後店員叫我地加湯落沾湯試吓,我地就覺得唔熱唔凍唔咸唔淡咁,有啲怪,但可以試玩吓嘅。整體嚟講我覺得佢係東區目前嘅首選。…Read More
