shocking lack of basic understanding of what italian cooking really is...menu is lacking in selection and some of the ''italian''authententic cusine beggers belief...creme brulee?fillet mignon..demi glace(all worded on the italian menu...lol idiots.anyway..upon arrival your table has sealed packets of breadsticks..lol...classy that.i ordered the Home-made Fettuccine with parma ham Parmiggiano cream sauce(exact wording and spelling as the menu)ill hopefully upload the picture of this mess...sauce was just cream and pasta(2 slices of parma ham)...no parmesan..no salt..no pepper...just pasta and cream..yup thats all..it tasted of exactly what boiled pasta and cream would taste like(im undertanding now why they have 3 customers in the restaurant)atleast the kind waiter served pepper and parmesan(after requested)he knew the food was terrible.anyway...tacky/poorly run restaurant that i guess cannot continue being run the way it is.…Read More

today i decided to grab a quick takaway (as im off to the beach )from a new restaurant called roast saikung(guess the owner thinks it will turn into a chain or something)unlikelyWell never a true saying that you get what you pay for,35 dollars gets you,2 pieces of burnt carrot(cold)2 pieces of mushy potatoes(no seasoning)small scoop of partly undercooked and partly overcooked cold rice(real talent to do that)paper thin slice of over-cooked flavourless chewy dry beef(with no sauce)If id have visited on april the first id have gotten the joke,with such a basic simple idea im amazed this is so poorly done, id imagine by someone with no background in catering,anyway see attached picture of this takaway roastill give it 6 months till its closed unless the owner or owners decide to actually care what they serve to paying customers,at this point ill add a few more huffies yep i think thats enough for now…Read More

Booked a party for 7 people on monday,we ordered a good selection from both starters and mains(had super monday card)ive not tried dutch cuisine before,ill try again for sure,had the meatballs and smoked salmon to start both ok,mains we had beef tartare(best ive ever tried)lamb fillets 2 portions very nicecrouper fish enjoyedlinguine with prawns ok needed a little sauce thoughbraised veal cheeks great and served with gnocchihad a couple of bottles of wine(pinot noir and cotes de rhone)both good value.i would recommend this restaurant even though its a little far out of the way,good service good food good enviroment.…Read More

Ill just get this off my chest,Heard there was a great new French style bar serving great cocktails to rival that of feather boa,wrong!!!there were 6 of us and we tried a selection,i tried the saffron infused one myself,anyway ill just concentrate on my cocktail even though i tried all the awful others,when using saffron in anything from sauce to drink (less is best)over use of saffron will give anything an unedible/drinkable bitter taste,just like this cocktail,when i first tried it the waitress noticed i didnt like it,i said it was incredible bitter,her reply was bar reputation destroying gold,ill quote "well your a guy so you can drink it",fantastic what a nice thing to say to someone who is a customer,i would however say that the design of the bar itself was very nice and alot better than feather boa,but service and cocktails are not hitting the mark for me,also i went to get a leffe blond as i needed something to drink that i could trust,the bold barman(i assume owner)seemed reluctant to serve me saying last order no more drinks being served,this i wouldnt have a problem with and i dont blame him(i even asked him all the closing times)but at no point were we informed of last orders from the usless watress who was spending more time just chatting than actual serving.good luck.…Read More

Just dropped in for a quick snack and a beer while waiting for a friend,Big mistake,all i wanted was a beer and a quick snack,After getting the attention of the waiter/bar-man(who for some reason was just staring at the ceiling)i ordered a leffe blonde and asked for the menu,along came the bottle,no glass,i went to the bar and got glass myself,ahh calamari ,great ill order that,along came the calamari(6 pieces)stacked artfully,wow i thought to myself,bit into it and oil dripped down my cheeks and a tiny piece of squid fell to the plate,all that batter with squid the size of a dollar coin :(Ive never tried quid this chewy,i couldnt even cut it with my knife(no joke)i tried to get the attention of the bar-man but he was still staring at the ceiling(im wondering if hes on drugs at this point)i finally get the attention of a passing waiter,i asked him to cut the squid,he tried,he failed,he asked if id like to order anything else,i settled for asparagus,along came the asparagus,looked well presented but tasted sour like it had been blanched a week ago and gone off,there was no salt so apart from the sour taste it had no flavour,anyway hated it ,wont go back,it wasnt even busy,all about the enviroment but food and service was a total disaster.…Read More

I like freshly squeezed juice,so when a menu advertises freshly squeezed juice (worded on the menu)shouldnt i the be served FRESHLY SQUEEZED JUICE,well ill leave that up to my lawyers,oh wait........i am a lawyerits ILLEGAL,you guys can confirm this though trade descriptions law,anyway,hmmm,i actually am quite suprised by the mistakes made here,food,hi owners,have a chat with whoever is running this particular outlet,ive been to your others an this one has issues(big time)i dont like paying the service charge when i have to get up and come to collect my food myself,SML actually says no service charge when sitting in the outside area so why here?menu seems good to read but actually food served isnt good and service slow,jaspas is far better and ill be going there from now on,please improve as we need a good new restaurant in sai kung square,ill give you guys a bad review here but hope the place improves as i like your other joints.…Read More

arrrgggg arrggg,well ill just get that over then,how do i start,ok the food,had the lunch set,now call me crazy but id expect a pizza restaurant to perhaps have pizza on the set menu,not some horrible sloppy overcooked pasta and chewy frozen pork,now i had pizza from pizzaria rosso(which was the name of this place before it moved suddenly)yes the pizza was really bad,so bad infact that it went in the bin,i was hoping maybe the name change also meant a change in standards.... well nopeawful awful awful if they wann be taken serious then they need to raise the quality of what they are serving to paying customers,i really wish id taken photos of the food so i can put them on here as it looked as bad as it tasted…Read More

Each and every customer's is requested from comments and I wonder why we didnt had any comments from your side.Am sure you never tired Pizzeria Rosso / Pomodoro as per below:We have Set Menu everyday!!!Got no pasta which has pork in it, which dish did you ordered???If one feels the food is horrible from the old place they will never go back even the resturant moves to a new location, I wonder how you would dare to go back and try again if you felt so bad about Pizzeria Rosso.Even a phone has a camera I wonder why you couldnt take a picture if you felt it was so horrible. Anyway, our customers know our quality and our standards very well so we appeciate your valuable comments.Next time if you ever have time please do come in to leave your comments with our waitress if you find any more problems, our chef's are more then willing to come and talk in person to make all the nessacary improvements.

lauandes PIZZA味道還可以,只是坊間一般的薄底PIZZA而已,無甚特別之處!個SAUCE好明顯唔係用新鮮蕃茄同材料做嘅!不用專程去試!絕不是它所形容的正式 NAPOLIAN PIZZA. 好明顯廚師同老闆根本唔知咩先係NAPOLIAN PIZZA,空談SLOGAN而已,並非真心之作!PORK RIBS 完全唔掂,又鞋又乾,仲跟個喺雪櫃攞出嚟嘅現成BBQ SAUCE.CASEAR SALAD, 菜OK, 但個DRESSING好求其,完全唔係CASEAR SALAD 味,一小碟,只有少少唔脆嘅煙肉,竟賣到$95,性價比極低!蕃茄闊條麵,麵條AL DENTE,SAUCE 都OK!係成晚最似樣的一味!總結,係一間對食物製作無HEART,無要求同無本事嘅餐廳!只有老闆娘熱情有禮嘅招待,也不足以有回頭客的啊!

:)Been to this restaurant ages ago ,and i mean ages,it wasnt even Hebe one o one then,assume its new owners now,Glad about this as i have bad memories of chorizo from yrs back,Anyway,What an improvement,looking at the menu theres alot to choose from,we sat on the open rooftop where we could smoke(unusual for Sai kung)had chicken that was wrapped in bacon(cant remember the sauce)this was a suprise,how is the chicken so tender:) two thumbs up on that,had a salmon dish with creamy vegetables(had a caviar hollandaise great):)also as was driving couldnt drink any alcohol but that was ok a i think i had one of the best chocolate milkshakes in some time,anyway im planning my next visit there this coming weekend…Read More

Saw that this restaurant had fairly good reviews,so went along with quite a positive attitude hoping for some rustic homecooked food,hmmm,not quite,ordered stuffed veal ,was not cooked all way through and very tough,sent it back to cook further,when it came back it was ovious they had just poured more of that terrible sauce over it hoping to mask the rawness(it was still raw and cold)the pre cooked frozen carrots were also cold and the over cooked the red cabbage was also cold,the potatoes were ok,kinda lumpy creamy mash,had cannelinni,the bolognaise style sauce it came with was like a bought in tinned sauce,pretty bad,the waiter brought over some of that terrible dried up powdered parmesan,i asked if he had any fresh but he didnt as it was to expensive,ordered a calzone(pizza pasty)OMG this was bad,the pasrty was like a child ade it in school,oviously the pastry hadnt been given enough time to prove,had a bitter taste,worst one ive ever tasted,the waiter mentioned that theve been open since 1975,i think its time for them update the recipe and menu,if they make the menu smaller and use better quality ingredients they will become really popular,the restaurant decor itself isnt bad,but maybe if they want to have chefs on show in an open pizza kitchen in the front then maybe the chef shouldnt stand there picking his nose as he did whilst i was eating(was the bitter taste on the calzone extra flavour from his nose).cmon tivoli your better than this old fashioned 70s kitch,people have a more developed palette than what your serving,get fresh parmesan.…Read More

decided to drop by for snack as was in the area and quite hungry,ordered the dips(crudites)and larges portion of meatballs,also hoegaarden as was buy one get one free,why oh why would someone serve such dryed up vegetables for the dippers ive no idea,why put courgette/zuchini in it instead of cucumber ive no idea,horrid.having ordered the meatballs i was quite suprised when the chef came over to say they were ready(in less that 4 minutes)very quick,i went to collect them as theyve no license to serve food or drink on the rooftop area they have,now i understand the collecting food part but why no knife,fork anything,i had to ask for it,maybe i should use my fingers to eat it,anyway the meatball were the dry beyond imagination,clearly they had been cooked a number of days prior,horridand the hoegaarden was served in a glass smaller that a half pint,crazy.another small comment,who came up with the seating outside,the table is so low,really uncomfortable…Read More
