很少去葵涌，今日由港島區出發去試試新香。乘搭港鐵去葵芳站再轉乘235M巴士，於北葵涌街市站落車步行數分鐘便到達。門口兩邊各有一排大玻璃櫃分別擺放好西式麵包及傳統中式糕點。行入冰室坐下，望著貼在牆上的餐纸，最後叫了吉列豬扒常餐。40元一客加一杯熱飲。上桌時有塗了牛油的餐包，茄汁焗豆，香腸，煎疍及一塊超巨型的豬扒！坐在對面的太太笑著建議我要加沙律醬吃豬扒會更好味。環顧店鋪，應該大部份是街坊。他們一進店，伙記們已經招呼著，並按他們慣常的喜好下單。我喝著奶茶吃著常餐，靜靜聽著街坊們的閒聊，不時看著師傅、伙記及老闆娘Mandy等人把一盤盤新鮮出爐麵包拿出去櫃面，雖然我是第一次光顧，也有一種說不出的親切感。埋單後到外面買了皮疍酥便離開，行了幾步，聽到後面有人很大聲跟我說bye bye, 原來是Mandy追出來，因為阿姐告訴她我由港島專程去探店。我停下和她談了一會，叫她要好好加油做下去！看著她額頭上的汗珠，有點心疼，但深信有魄力有熱誠的她會愈做愈好的！…Read More

炎炎夏日氣温上升到34C，烈日當空下走在街上，極度需要歇一歇，抖抖氣。路過店鋪門口，見到有賣雪糕及茶飲，即刻行入去。左望右望後，有幾款凍茶可選擇，最後我揀咗一款有菊花的青萍果凍茶，$18頗大的一樽。試飲了一口，覺得味道很清新而且不甜，十分消暑解渴，正合我意。之後有少少肚餓，再追加小食燒買魚疍，$15毎款三粒，擺盤頗具心思。坐低悠閑地歎下冷氣，都算慢活人生🤭櫃枱嘅美少女待客有禮，加分！有機會再去試試他們的雪糕。…Read More

這間在太古城中心已經營業了有一段日子，一直沒有去過。今天下午入去試一下，怎知就中伏！叫了一個$89套餐，選了炸醬麵、韮菜豬肉蒸餃及一杯酸梅湯。炸醬面先來，放下在我面前已聞到一股肉類的雪藏味道，我先試一口麵，其實面質不錯，但那股經冷凍後的雪肉味，真是令人大倒胃口，是我有史以来在香港吃過最差的炸醬麵！韮菜餃味道還可以，但不特出。酸梅湯就只是一般樽裝貨式而已！之後上開飯網看食評，唉！原來差評已不少！早知去附近食快餐好過！…Read More

My friend and I pre-bought their afternoon tea set for two online. The cafe was on the 8/F of a boutique hotel at 2 McDonald Road. We visited the nearby Biological and Botanical Garden before having our tea at the cafe. There’s an exit in the park to McDonald Road; very convenient. The cafe was spacious with a scenic view of the Mid-Levels. The staff were all very professional. When our tea set arrived, we enjoyed every bit of the food. 和朋友去圍方逛，看見這間有午市套餐，地方環境不錯，便試試吧！午膳時份只有一兩枱客。友善的服務員安排我和朋友到內裡有舒服沙發的枱就座。套餐每人可以點兩款前菜，一個主菜及包餐飲。選了四款不同的前菜：白鯷魚脆多士、西班牙文薯仔疍餅、醃製蕃茄配奶嘴芝士及炒雜菌，各有特色！主菜我們各自選了一客三文魚及豬梅肉，味道也不錯，食物擺盆賣相討好。服務員知道我和朋友會分享各項美食，主動為我們多預備一套餐具及碟，十分貼心。最後我們加了一個西班牙特色甜品配上熱咖啡和奶茶，太滿足了！看著餐廳內雅緻的佈置並聽著音樂，幻想去了一趟西班牙！期待下次！…Read More

A comfy eatery at a hustle bustle industrial district in Kwun Tong. There was a good variety of lunch set. All Day Breakfast is on the menu too. There’s a 10% discount off with membership. I ordered half a spring chicken which cost $98. The lunch set came with a salad and pumpkin soup. Chicken was tender and juicy served with mashed potato and grilled vegetables. Went to try out brunch at this new Korean eatery at Cityplaza ... what a big disappointment and waste of money! I ordered stewed beef ribs with rice. The pot of beef ribs was horrible! It was literally something soaked in oil. The dish was just lukewarm. The plastic cutlery was useless; especially the knife. You have to struggle when using it to cut the ribs. I couldn’t believe they use plastic cutlery to serve. Btw, actually you WON’T be served there. When I told the waitress the knives were missing in the cutlery box, she just asked me to go out to get one at the counter by myself🙄 Well, you ordered and paid first.. then they would give u a device to remind you to fetch the food when it’s ready... just like when u order takeaways at any fast food store🙄The experience was: what a joke! I often finish what I order and pay for... but this time, I couldn’t even finish the Cappucino served in a plastic cup. 星期日睌一行三人到中哥晚膳，坐在外面一桌，叫了三個菜。三個菜到齊後，正吃著，看到下單的老闆娘捧著兩個竹蒸籠，她放下了一個在我們後面那桌，回過頭來說手上剩下的一籠是我們落單的，我們答説沒有，她仍嘀咕著說我們剛才明明有叫的。我們再三肯定說並沒有，她就黑著面走開。她進入店後，不久便找到ordered那籠小菜的客人，但她竟然沒有出來向我們解釋及道歉！天啊！這是甚麼服務態度？！竟然有這樣蠻不講理的人。她不介意得失一枱客人，我們也不介意不再光顧的。畢竟，香港是美食天堂，選擇多的是！小菜的味道其實不俗，但這樣差劣的服務態度，實在另人失望！…Read More
