經常路過這間開業不到一年的餐廳,今天是我第一次來。進入餐廳時已聞到了燒烤的香氣,讓我的食慾大增。餐廳Charcoal Bar顧名思義,是主打燒烤為主的。選擇了靠窗的一張桌子,雖然可以望到街景,但有點悶熱,因為外面的天氣實在太熱,冷氣並未能有效降低靠窗座位的溫度。這也讓身穿外套的侍應們頗為辛苦。點了炭燒鱈魚套餐,鱈魚烤得剛剛好,配上少量辣椒,外脆內軟,做得相當好。套餐還附送了一份小沙律和粟米湯。隨後我再點了 Apple Crumble,剛從焗爐熱辣辣地上枱,上面的 Crumble 脆卜卜,配一小球vanilla雪糕,兩個人分享剛剛好。順便提一句,餐廳的waitress 笑容滿面,樂意介紹不同的菜式,實在是難得。…Read More

在新城市廣場,星期二晚上 ,逛了大半個商場,看到一些餐廳門口堆滿了人等位,卻也有些冷冷清清。見這法國餐廳門口的餐牌上的菜式頗正宗,值得支持。最終等了約10分鐘便有了位。餐廳顯然很繁忙,等了好一陣子才有侍應過來take order。我點了油甘魚海鮮鍋,醬汁的味道美味,但魚身略嫌過熟。經理解釋說,這是因為香港人的口味,如果魚生得太多,可能會受到投訴。我還點了一客水牛沙律,沙律菜葉尚算新鮮,整體表現不錯。經理認真地詢問我對今天食物的意見,禮貌且耐心地講解,讓我感受到他真心想吸收顧客的反饋。這一點值得欣賞!…Read More
