星期日下午做完facial ,帶著口罩行左陣街,熱到想死。見到街口有間幾chill嘅coffee shop, 毫不猶豫衝入去。叫左杯decaf iced long black 同 scone,志在除下口罩抖抖氣。一落完單,咖啡同鬆餅9秒9就ready,真係好有效率。我揀上樓上坐,坐位繼續有隔板分隔,即使 坐窗口位,其實都唔係好望到外面講返咖啡嘅質素,我覺得正常囉,我叫decaf冇選擇只得一款豆鬆餅就非常唔好食,第一係凍嘅,冇問過我駛唔駛翻熱,淨係問要唔要牛油同jam,第二鬆餅本身冇牛油香,好實好甜,唔建議大家叫佢嘅鬆餅不過如果只係想坐低涼冷氣抖下嘅,都好過去附近天仁茗茶嘅…Read More

星期六通常係補眠日,起得身出得街都係食下午茶嘅時候。難得今個星期六要早起出中環做啲嘢,就約表姐去食個難得嘅週末午餐。Dear Lily一直喺to go list,但係遲遲未去,一路聽閒唔訂位要排長龍⋯⋯今次行開去IFC就碰運氣睇吓有冇位,1點去到約坐滿一半枱,唔駛等就可以即刻入坐餐廳出名裝潢古典,乾花天花、心形枱卡位都係大家嘅打卡位。今次坐唔到卡位,但係都近窗邊望出去係摩天輪,幾靚午餐係set lunch分2-courses / 3-courses,有3個starter, 5個main揀。我哋揀咗Salmon Tartare, chicken breast 同 lamb, 另外share 左個 brownie 點菜後,先上麵包,麵包係focaccia,兩個人有4片,麵包味道中規中矩,冇咩驚喜。Salmon Tartare 擺碟幾靚,而且份量都唔細,不過味道就一般,主菜我揀咗lamb moussaka ,佢係希臘名菜,芝士焗羊肉碎加茄子,睇落好細份,食落好鬼漏,不過味道都唔錯。表姐揀grilled chicken breast,佢話雞肉唔鞋而且味道都ok。至於甜品nuts brownie ,賣相唔錯,不過略嫌brownie 乾身左啲,如果可以moist 啲會更好,個人喜歡Mrs Field brownie 嘅口感。我哋另外點左2杯咖啡(regular/ flat white),regular coffee 好strong nutty flavour ,thick body,我喜歡佢開揚嘅景觀,令人可以放鬆下,食物同咖啡都唔錯,好啱兩三知己食嘢傾計。差唔多走嘅時候,見到好多人點tea set ,下次可以試吓…Read More

約友人星期五尖沙咀晚飯,想揾間餐廳可以靜靜地傾吓計,上openrice 揾到呢度,見有不少好評,就試試佢啦。book左7:30,前一日餐廳打電話嚟confirm booking,電話中問要唔要訂和牛扒同海鮮拼盤,我覺得好奇怪,一問之下,侍應話如果唔預訂,到時候冇得即場order。當時我心想,我連餐牌都未睇,點可能咁早訂嘢食,唔通去呢間餐廳的都係熟客,熟到唔駛睇餐牌order我準時7:30到,餐廳已經差不多滿坐。友人要遲少少先到,我就點住杯白酒飲吓先,可以逐杯點的白酒得兩款,我選左 Sauvignon Blanc 。友人到達後,我地就先點2個前菜(deep fried crab cake / Hokkaido Scallop Carpaccio)。侍應跟著就放底麵包籃,麵包籃得4粒麵包,我地問有冇refill,侍應話要加錢先可以再比麵包,我地覺得餐廳此舉好mean,所以寧願唔要兩個前菜嘅味道,不過不失。帶子刺生嘅份量適合最多2個女仔share,擺盤幾靚,不過帶子味道唔夠鮮甜。蟹餅蟹肉餡好豐富,味道唔錯我想再續杯,友人亦想飲少少酒,所以我地再睇酒牌,今次揀一支Chardonnay ,侍應落單後,隔左陣就返嚟話冇貨,我唯有再揀過,要一支Riesling,又隔左陣,侍應今次話Riesling 唔夠凍,問我仲要唔要,梗係唔要啦!唯有要返第一支Sauvignon Blan⋯⋯主菜我地揀左Prime Rib Eye,牛扒肉質同味道都超乎預期,係3道菜中最好餐廳位處尖沙咀,我地唸著可以慢慢食傾吓計,點知未到10點,侍應已經要我地埋單,雖然我地超愕然,唯有都埋左單先。我地仲有大半支酒未飲完,所以繼續邊飲邊傾。冇幾耐,開始有人清潔樓面,再過左陣,侍應再走過嚟提我地佢收舖,當時只係10點幾,咁比人趕法,我地只好放棄支酒離開坦白講,間餐廳食物中規中矩,性價比一般。但係服務就真係唔得,問題唔係侍應嘅態度,而係作為食客嘅我地感受到餐廳有幾mean,斤斤計較…Read More

適逢Restaurant Week,訂了位同家人重温舊式扒房据扒。星期四晚上的中環,街上人來人往,位處雲咸街頭的Jimmy’s Kitchen 非常易找。餐廳有酒吧部分,下次再跟友人Happy Hour。餐廳保留舊式扒房裝潢,非常有情調。老爸說自己幾十年前於中環番工時有光顧,小妹倒是第一次。Restaurant Week 有特別的餐牌,三道菜晚餐$298,實在抵食。我幫老爸點了surf & turf (+$88),其餘我們各點了牛扒及龍蝦,前菜有三文魚沙律及法式洋蔥湯,我當然點洋蔥湯,畢竟我是看中了餐牌有法式洋蔥湯而訂枱的。其實一坐下來,侍應已經拿著麵包籃過來,麵包選擇有法包、香草包、蕃茄包、麥包,我們每人都點了2款麵包,個人覺得法包最好,香脆可口,蕃茄包太濕,妹子說她選的香草包有很濃香草味,她很喜歡未幾,侍應奉上前菜,除了妹子選三文魚沙律,我們都選法式洋蔥湯。不枉我為洋蔥湯而來,洋蔥湯香氣四溢,湯上的法包芝士焗得香脆。評定一碗洋葱湯的好壞,首先由洋葱味道是否夠濃開始,第二重要的是洋葱要熟要軟,但必須保持質感,還有是湯身要較稀。在湯面的麵包要乾身耐泡,芝士要金黃但份量不能太多,否則會搶走洋葱的甜味。此湯完全附合美味洋蔥湯的要求。主菜方面有燒安格斯肉眼扒及燒波士頓龍蝦,肉眼扒肉質軟滑,肉味雖說不上很濃,但配合燒烤煮法,味香可口。龍蝦倒是有驚喜,雖然只得半隻,但蝦肉爽口Juicy,配上蒜頭牛油汁,更提鮮。甜品有兩款,朱古力mousse 及火焰雪山(+$96),我們選了兩客朱古力mousse,1客火焰雪山分食。小時候,老爸經常帶我們去西餐廳食火焰雪山,每次都非常期待侍應點火一刻,好懷念。長大後,有時都會食火焰雪山,但大多的餐廳都做得不好,最差的試過所謂的雪山內竟然只有brownie, 西瓜粒、忌廉,冇雪糕。是晚的雪山外型跟小時候食的樣子差不多,侍應點燃威士忌酒再淋上蛋白霜面,妹子開心得要拍video。切開後,厚厚的蛋白霜下是雪得非常冰的雲呢拿雪糕,中間有朱古力醬。回憶永遠都是美好的,火焰雪山都是小時候食過的最好食…Read More

喺鰂魚涌食晏得一個「趕」字,趕揾位、趕食、比人趕走。之前睇FB見太古坊附近開左間烘焙咖啡店,一直想試試。咖啡店位置其實不難找(對於太古坊工作嘅人),店面光潔,裝潢簡約清新。今日中午前來,已經有2-3枱客人,見都係食湯、三文治嘅輕食。飾柜內陳列少量嘅蛋糕,收銀處旁邊放著新鮮嘅麵包店有提供午餐,可選三文治、湯、咖啡及蛋糕,自由選擇配搭。我問店員可否揀麵包代替三文治,店員大方答應,於是我揀左「熔岩芝士包」配「蕃茄什菜湯」餐($60)店員著我先找位置坐下,佢替我加熱麵包再送上,非常細心。我於近窗位置吧枱坐下,雖然窗外風景欠奉,但係獨個兒午膳,可以望吓外面都唔錯丫「熔岩芝士包」比我想像中嘅size細,加熱後嘅麵包尚萛鬆軟,可惜芝士份量及味道未如想像中豐富,而且亦沒有「熔岩」嘅感覺,整體只萛合格「蕃茄什菜湯」材料都豐富,味道都幾濃郁,合格以上值得提提,店員窩心服務,我食完一陣間,店員立即送上暖水一杯。跟其他趕客人盡快離席嘅餐廳相比,此店非常難得其實$60嘅午餐,鰂魚涌選擇都唔少,比此店份量多嘅亦很多。不過,若偶爾想找個清新小店,無需「趕」住食嘅,可以試試…Read More

元朗omakase,小妹只試過壽司之神、壽司源,前者印象麻麻,後者喜出望外。再訪元朗食omakase ,想試試新店,於openrice 找到零負評新店「鮨一心」,決定訂位一試。小店好找,是夜訂了7點,入內只見壽司枱放了兩位用餐的擺設,店內只有日籍壽司師傅及一後生仔侍應。安坐後,端上熱茶及餐牌,我們二人選了$1500的omakase。不一會前菜開始送上,我心有點奇怪,不明白此店為什麼沒有問客人有沒有特別喜好或討厭的食物。前菜-啫喱温泉蛋,配搭頗特色,口感味道亦不錯刺身5款-生蠔、𩶘魚、北寄貝、吞拿魚、白身魚,生蠔爽口富海水味,蠔味亦佳,可能我個人不欣賞𩶘魚,是道刺身我不欣賞,另外3款刺身,我最愛北寄貝,味鮮爽口,吞拿魚屬腩位,雖不可以說十分肥美,亦富油香。刺身後到燒物,燒鱸魚魚鮫,鱸魚魚肉太硬,魚皮燒後亦太韌,我對此物不敢恭維。之後兩款煮物,更另我卻步,其中「汁煮吞拿魚」實在太腥,我要請同伴幫我將之完成。另外,「煮蟹肉炸芋球」味道單一,蟹肉味欠奉,調味也太重手,太咸。經過燒物及煮物的失望,我對8款壽司寄望極高,日籍師傅經驗老到,希望不會令我失望。可惜.....𩶘魚壽司首先登場,魚味淡,但作為第一款登場的壽司,我沒有異議。第二款出場的壽司竟然是熟蝦,我懷著信心一口咬下,失望!因為此熟蝦完全冇蝦味.....第三款帆立貝壽司,師傅提我兩不要點豉油。還好,此帆立貝味道尚可接下來是鰹魚壽司及池魚壽司,兩款都不是我所好,尢其池魚壽司上,師傅放了生洋蔥及蒜,兩者都是小妹最討厭的食物,其實如果事前師傅會問客人喜惡,就可避免客人的不愉快。再登場的是象拔蚌壽司,爽口鮮味當我以為漸入佳境,跟住出場的大拖羅吞拿魚壽司,將我徹底打敗。大拖羅吞拿魚賣相不錯,我滿懷希望放進口中,可惜此物丁點魚油香味都沒有,如果我沒有看到是大拖羅,單從味道,我完全認不出是吞拿魚,失望至極!最後一道壽司是「三文魚籽海膽壽司」,由它味道再好,都不能令我擺脫大拖羅的陰影之後的魚湯及提子啫喱,不提也罷。…Read More

金鐘最近好熱鬧,除左開左全球第一間嘅Mcdonald's next,仲有梗有一間喺左近嘅7-11開左全新面貌嘅Daily Cafe。地點係力寶中心以前江山笑嘅位置,由金鐘廊行去,或者由中環嗰邊去都好方便。講真,第一次行過嘅時候,完全唔覺得係7仔,由門面到裡面裝修,都唔係平時見開嘅7仔。黑白型格設計,配上raw raw地嘅原木枱椅(無錯,7仔竟然有枱椅比係坐低食嘢,驚喜!),同埋鐵線吊燈,好有型!食物方面,有齊凍柜嘅輕食(三文治、沙律、鮮果杯、果汁等),仲有現場即焗嘅麵包、muffin、牛角酥。最驚喜嘅佢嘅熱食,menu分早餐、午餐、下午茶。叫得Daily Cafe,梗有咖啡啦,咖啡選擇好齊,Americano、Cappuccino、Latte之外,仲有mocha等等。80後應該有食過7仔軟雪糕,當年佢突然消失,相信大家都覺得可惜。2016年,軟雪糕回歸7仔,仲要係進化版,聲稱係日本3.5牛乳造嘅軟雪糕。2016年番工嘅第一餐lunch,跟同事選擇試新嘢,試左佢嘅湯麵同軟雪糕。湯麵嘅選擇都幾豐富,可自選湯底(清湯/蕃茄湯/喇沙湯)、麵款(烏冬/拉麵/水晶粉),餸款選擇仲多,除左一般車仔麵餸之外,比較特別嘅係溫泉蛋同好大粒嘅香辣肉丸。我試喇沙湯加水晶粉,揀左辣肉丸、蘿蔔、泰式魚餅,同事揀左喇沙湯烏冬配芝士腸、鹵水蛋、雞亦同日式叉燒。喇沙湯真係有驚喜,湯頭有香濃海鮮味,椰香啱啱好,配搭水晶粉最正。至於3.5牛乳軟雪糕,佢以waffle裝住軟雪糕,雖然價錢比以前貴,不過質素真係唔錯。店員仲推介我地買多杯expresso加落去食,即係而家好hit 嘅affogato,果然冇介紹錯,最啱鍾意飲咖啡嘅我,好飽足嘅一餐。下午茶時間,真係要落嚟hea吓,買支果汁加件blueberry cheese cake,坐出外面曬吓,扮去左西貢飲afternoon tea…Read More

今日係年終清假最後一日,瞓醒落高街再試新餐廳。今次由救恩行到正街,逐間睇menu,其實冇咩心水,見依間店員主動搭訕,咁就試吓你啦!Set lunch有4個course,湯或沙律,主菜($98起),甜品同咖啡茶,另加一。我揀左吞拿魚沙律,margarita pizza($98)。先送上麵包藍,係兩塊長法包,暖暖地有d脆,不過同Italian Cuisine嘅比,我鍾意後者多d。吞拿魚沙律嘅份量都適中,不過太多olive oil,食到成口油,生菜都萛生鮮,如果加少少黑橄欖,會惹味d.Margarita pizza有8-10寸闊,開8件。我鍾意薄又脆嘅餅底,依個pizza底我都ok鍾意。pizza上枱時,侍者同時送上一支非常大支嘅辣椒油,睇真d,應該係自家用橄欖油同辣椒浸嘅,我怕太辣,第一次只係落左幾滴,一試,點解冇味嘅?!跟著就落多d喺碟嚟點,講真,我唔太食得辣都覺得冇辣味,鍾意食辣嘅,一定唔鍾意囉。講番pizza味道,因為芝士落得夠多,食嘅時候有拉芝士絲嘅效果,讚!以平淡嘅margarita口味,萛合格。跟餐送嘅甜品係急凍tiramisu,跟預期一樣,唔好食,唔講完全唔知係tiramisu,建議cancel送甜品,轉加錢換,同時提升甜品質素。總括而言,la terra set lunch食物質素不及italian cuisine. 不過真係要讚店員嘅服務,非常主動細心!…Read More

年底要清假,最正就係瞓到自然醒,再出動去揾食。之前睇電視介紹一間越南三文治,一直好想試,今日終於有機會。店舖喺佐敦恒豐酒店附近,好易揾。店仔細細,專做外賣,只有兩張吧椅供堂食。我三點去到,冇咩人,叫左個招牌法包三文治(半條),加杯熱咸桔仔水。三文治即做,好快有得食。個包非常脆,餡料唔萛非常豐富,其實份量最多嘅只係醃蘿蔔,越南法包三文治嘅精髓-鴨肝醬,份量好少,如果唔係食正嗰啖,都唔知佢有落。其他餡料味道萛一般,整體感覺係麻麻地,最讚只係個包好脆。…Read More

成日搭車經過名店坊,一早已經知Simplylife會進註銅鑼灣,等了再等,終於開業。星期六下晝2點,約左妹子食個飯,我兩個有豐富食Simplylife,貪心叫兩個餐加甜品,食唔晒要打包嘅經驗。所以今次只叫一個餐加甜品。以為一定唔駛打包,可惜,都係食唔晒,Simplylife太抵食!!新店位置相當易找,喺EL CID隔離,室外坐位都幾好feel,可惜天氣咁熱,都係坐番室內,首選有落地玻璃望告士打道嗰邊。我地到達時,已經有6張枱嘅人等位,心唸有排等啦,又唔係喎,我地等左10分鐘就有位,一路等一路睇吓蛋糕柜,佢嘅蛋糕同其他分店唔同款,仲有d完全未見過,好似chocolate cube,外形四四方方好趣緻。等等吓,有d肚餓,發現佢有麵包供試食,我地試食左dried fruit pumpernickel,麵包好有質感,仲有唔同乾果,好似無花果、杏脯、提子乾,好香甜,我地引唔住買左兩片($15/片、$45/4份1個)嚟食。話咁快有位,可惜我地坐唔倒落地玻璃嗰邊。我地望吓餐牌,好驚喜發現新店比金鐘店多好多選擇,有成20款brunch set揀,一律$128加一,包湯或沙律,主菜,汽水或果茶,加$12送咖啡。我地鍾情佢嘅pizza,香脆到不得了,最終揀左ham & mozzarella cheese pizza,沙律同果茶,唸住而叫多兩件cake或者danish,可惜,我地想試嘅款式售罄,唯有下次再試,好彩一早叫定個raspberry danish,如果唔係都冇得食。Raspberry danish最快到,用木盤裝住,賣相真係好靚,妹子等位時見倒,已經話一定要食。我地想食完咸嘢先食甜品,唯有放佢埋一邊,雖然都擔心佢會唔會林左冇咁好食。沙律亦好快送上,同其他分店一樣,隋沙律或者湯都會跟一片麵包,今次嘅麵包好脆,可能啱啱焗起。沙律味道清新,亦有多款新鮮蔬菜,可惜亦有好多生洋蔥…… 主菜pizza係永冇甩拖嘅選擇,大大個pizza,可分8件,餅底香脆,topping超豐富,我地叫嘅ham & mozzarella cheese,有起碼6-7片大大片嘅honey ham,我地好努力咁食,可惜都食淨2件要打包,無辦法啦,妹子要留肚食甜品。我用刀切落件danish度,聽到好清脆嘅咔一聲,我心唸真係咁脆?!再切多刀,都一樣發出清脆嘅咔一聲。我地仲擔心放得耐會冇咁好食。Danish裡面有吉士醬同新鮮紅桑莓,一啖咬落去,先食倒danish上香脆嘅杏片同牛油香,然後係甜度適中嘅吉士醬,吉士醬香滑而且份量剛剛好,有時份量太多會反而唔好,攪到食嘅時候漏晒出嚟,而家份量適中,既可以食到吉士嘅香滑,又可以食到紅桑莓嘅酸酸甜甜,好balence.…Read More

真係有咁好食咩?!

自小時候睇小忌廉,已經非常鍾意班戟,特別係捲成三角形,裏面有豐富忌廉同生果嗰d。可惜當時香港得好少地方有得賣嗰種班戟,印象中只有媽咪帶我去銅鑼灣大丸嘅food court,先有得食。長大後,仍然對班戟有無明嘅好感,雖然選擇而家多左好多,法式crepe有咸有甜,不過仍然鍾意捲成三角形嗰種有生果、忌廉同雪糕嘅多d。家住西區,從openrice知道有間班戟店喺屋企附近,即刻去試吓。可惜,好幾次都太多人,等唔倒位,唯有打退堂鼓。今次星期日下畫時間,成5:30過去,等左一陣,就有位。舖仔真係細細,裡面bar枱外,得3張二人枱,唔怪得咁爆。舖頭主打班戟,仲有賣其他甜品,好似芝士蛋糕咁,當然仲有飲品,好似抹茶牛奶同smoothies,仲有鮮果汁。我點左香蕉焦糖醬特濃咖啡雪糕班戟加杏仁碎半份,見廚師於開放式廚房即做,舖內立即瀰漫香甜味道。班戟捲得似雪糕筒幼幼的,面頭係鋪上杏仁碎嘅雪糕。一啖咬落去,食倒班戟嘅皮香脆,特濃咖啡雪糕真係有非常香濃嘅咖啡味,喜歡咖啡嘅朋友一定鍾意,香蕉伴著鮮忌廉同焦糖醬,味道還可以,沒有太大驚喜。可能之前睇食評太多人讚,抱著太大期望光顧,小店極其量只係做到本份,或者依區冇類似食店,佢係唯有選擇。…Read More

每逢屋企有人生日,我地都鍾意去新開嘅餅店買蛋糕,今次都唔例外,媽咪生日,妹子提議去佢公司附近嘅新餅店試吓。其實我完全冇聽過依間餅店,不過妹子話有同事試過話好食,咁就試吓啦。我上openrice睇過,原來佢都有兩間分店喺觀塘,食評都唔差,仲有媽咪最愛嘅拿破崙,一於試試。妹子早兩日去舖頭訂貨,佢嘅拿破崙有兩款,分別係芒果同士多啤梨,媽咪愛士多啤梨,所以冇揀芒果。佢一個士多啤梨拿破崙有成十幾粒大大粒士多啤梨鋪喺面,好靚呀,睇見即刻想食。拿破崙有兩層,中間夾著吉士醬同士多啤梨粒。拿破崙嘅酥皮薄薄地仲好脆,切落去可以聽倒咔嚓聲。中間嘅吉士醬唔太甜,雖然厚左少少,食落膩左d。不過,我地本來唸住食件細細地嘅,食完都覺得唔夠滿足,食多左一件。題外話,個拿破崙都幾大件吓,一個4個人想一次過食晒,真係好難,除非你淨食蛋糕,唔食飯啦。食唔晒,唔想浪費,放雪柜第二日再食,即刻大打折扣,酥皮林晒,唔好食喇。提議大家,搵多幾個人分享,一次KO佢。…Read More

同友人傾開計,講開中華廚藝學院有間靚view酒店喺薄扶林,佢好有興趣試,於是book左個lunch。其實間餐廳行會員制,好彩識人係會員啫。我地book1:45,但係last order係1:30,於是我地order定,費事真係過左1:30先到,冇得食。當日餐單其實有d攪嘢,唔大路(同我以前喺依度食過嘅lunch set 相比),我地揀左4 course set (即係連甜品),頭盤分別係炸蟹餅拼西芹沙律同燒吞拿魚拼火箭菜沙律,湯揀左菠菜忌廉湯(雖然佢有另一款清雞湯),主菜就真係好難揀,佢有3款,一款係香煎魔鬼魚翅,另外係我地揀左嘅是日精選烤肉(酥皮焗三文魚)同香煎牛仔肝(calf liver)。平時lunch set 總有號豬、牛扒同雞都冇,所以我地揀嘅時候都好苦惱,唯有希望同學們煮得好d啦。我地book左車位,泊完車入大門開始,service都非常好,lobby嘅同學們好有禮貌,上到6樓T Hotel嘅同學仔都好好禮貌。我們坐望正海嘅枱,好靚呢!serve我地嘅同學,好快過嚟同我地對preorder嘅menu. 好快跟住就上麵包,麵包款式都有好幾款,個人最鍾意德國包。可能我地preorder左,上菜速度極快,頭盤好快出現我地面前,我嘅吞拿魚沙律ok,微微煎過嘅吞拿魚獨有嘅口感,配合清新沙律菜,好一個開胃菜,至於友人嘅蟹餅,我試食左少少,都萛香脆好味,不過略為油膩,好彩都跟沙律,可以中和吓。菠菜忌廉湯綠油油,食落好creamy,正,攪到我地一路飲湯一路食包,停唔到口。至於主菜方面,我嘅酥皮焗三文魚,賣相真係零分,塊三文魚係碎濕濕嘅,淨係得包住佢嘅酥皮係完整嘅,唔知係切到尾,攪到咁肉酸,定係學生們失手……三文魚唔滑,我預左,不過真係好鞋囉,唯一可以讚個汁幾好味,冇左佢真係食唔落。友人嘅calf liver,好適合鍾意食內臟嘅朋友,講真,好蘇,友人雖然食開肉臟,都食唔晒全碟……最後嘅甜品,好彩味道唔錯,特別係友人嘅椰子mousse,好有椰香,口感細膩,唔會太甜,佢一啖不留。…Read More
