You would assume that the newest celebrity chef restaurant to come to Hong Kong would make a big splash. Instead, it left me soul searching. Every signature dish ordered for our table as quite lacklustre and disappointing. The tuna and mushroom ‘pizzas’ were one dimensional, the salmon sushi lacking a salty or spicy punch, the wagyu pleasant but left on its own with poor add-ons, and the vegetables just buttery and that’s it. The prices we paid for the meal did not justify the quality of food.
