首先一坐底,店員已經放低碟凍番茄,話兩個人share一碟,但無講明係要收費,埋單先會知道menu全部寫一串價錢佢專做豬肉稀有部位,咁我覺得叫一串試吓先都好合理,但佢就全個Menu都係要兩串起,十分唔friendly。我地四個人連叫一碟兩件既芝士年糕都要逼我地要兩份,明明唔係個個都食訂位話有半價menu 但其實半價menu得好少同埋感覺上係標高價再比返半價你豬皮一放低,店員話要即刻食,我哋已經即刻食,但基本上質地同橡筋係冇分別,完全咬唔開店員傾計仲大聲過啲客食到最後仲見到小強 喺檯面側面行過埋單$400一個人 唔會再幫襯,亦都會叫身邊所有親戚朋友唔會幫襯…Read More

Bad service, overpriced for mediocre food

I did not anticipate this level of bad service from a supposedly authentic and traditional restaurant. My phone call with the restaurant earlier that day, and the greetings from the reception when we arrived were all excellent. But everything went downhill after being seated. After being given the menu and water (I had to ask for the wine list), no staff came to our table to greet / welcome us nor explain the menu / recommend daily specials. After waiting for 20-30 minutes holding our menus, we had to wave and signal staff multiple times before someone finally came to take our order. The person who took our order was very unprofessional. We ordered in English and the staff did not know which dish we were referring to. So we had to point and he repeated the order to us in Chinese. He also kept "doubting" our order asking what our main course is, when we wanted to share few dishes among 4 of us. Food portion is extremely small and average tasting. There are a lot more better options for Italian food in this price range, for much better service. Tiramisu was tasty but again, very small portion. Side note, there was a little girl from the other table playing with the olive oil stand with her hands. If the restaurant was properly staffed, they would've stopped the girl from contaminating food utensil. Will NOT return again. …Read More

Extremely overpriced for its quality and portion compared to other taphouses in Hong Kong. Beer menu is complex and hard to read. Various shades of green were used to distinguish between prices but they’re not easily identifiable. Would be more intuitive if they could just put the price next to the item. Gave the restaurant a call to reserve a table for 2 but they were all fully booked. We’re advised that there would be bar seating available for walk-in so we did that at around 8pm and chose the seating at the kitchen counter which ended up to be perfect :) We’ve seen reviews and recommendations about the red prawn hot dog but seeing it being prepared in front of us, we’ve opted for something else. The size of the prawn and hot dog were smaller than expected and we felt like the mayo they put on top would be too much and would cover the flavour of the red prawn. We ordered ham croquette and squid croquette. Squid one is crispier and tastier Then there was the octopus - texture was a bit too soft and lack seasoning... We asked for slices of lemon to squeeze on top and ended up to be much better. Lazy omelet was very good and flavourful Squid ink paella - the seafood could use a bit charring but overall still very nice :)Tomato bread Although spacious, the restaurant got very noisy later at night. Therefore sitting side by side was a better and more intimate experience. 極差的經驗...是自己的錯,選擇星期五去所以排隊需要一個半小時,而餐廳只有十二個座位。餓著肚子一心想來食和牛飯,第二個犯的錯:排隊期間無間中走去下單個機睇下有咩售罄...排隊排了呢麼久原來根本食不到想食的東西😔因menu只得幾樣嘢揀,最後逼住要食沾麵。雖然失望但都抱著期待的心情迎接沾麵,話曬和牛沾麵都應該唔差得去邊..呢個諗法可以話係大錯特錯!第一:和牛好韌。係咬唔開個隻韌。和牛用火槍略略燒一燒就放上凍的拉麵上,好快以變凍+韌和牛片。自己幻想下幾難食第二:咁大碗麵只比半個茶杯既湯?(睇其他人upload的相你會睇得清楚啲)湯黎都已經唔係特別熱,所以根本食左幾淡,全部(其實即係個半杯啦)既湯已經凍曬。湯味道其實幾好,但如果只係比半杯客人點成碗沾麵食,可以話一啲都唔夠濃。加上湯好油,係睇到面層浮緊既油。講到呢度其實你都可以imagine到成個沾麵食左幾淡之後已經變左好似食緊凍+生既肉同埋飲緊凍油。食完到臨訓都有好想嘔既感覺。唯一好處拉麵做得幾好,夠煙韌。餐廳也做得夠gimmick,比碗麵你食之前職員會拎住碗野向你大叫「mashi no mashi. As stated in the title, brass spoon's pho was expensive and did not worth the hype nor the wait. Went there for lunch and the wait was 30 minutes for the 3 of us, which was quite dreadful especially in the summer. Soup was quite bland and portion was extremely small. Noodles were slightly overcooked, therefore did not have a nice chew to it. Although, beef was flavourful and tender. If you want an overpriced fancy bowl of pho, Brass Spoon would be your go-to.
