Known for their classic live band performance and white gloves service, Gaddi’s is the icon of The Peninsula Hong Kong. We ordered the lobster bisque, Hokkaido scallops, French veal rib, and a dessert tower. The bisque was creamy with fresh lobster bits and the scallops were cooked to perfection (perfect chewyness!). I, along with three others, tried their 3 course dinner with a few a la carte items from the black truffle menu.Going by the picture order: the carbonara was very creamy and classic, but not super memorable - nevertheless they were very generous with their truffle as you can see. Picture 3 shows one of my favourites: the truffle with abalone. The abalone was very fresh and tasty mixed in with the gravy. After numerous recommendations, I finally had the chance to try Bedu in Sheung Wan. We ordered the Chef’s Tasting Menu which featured a wide range of dishes. The lunch started with Homemade Flatbread with Hummus. Dip was very flavorful and the bread was very fluffy.
