Came here for a quick bite and we ordered the Chihuahua hotdogs and truffle scramble croissant. There was only one customer ahead of us yet we waited well over 20 minutes but all we got was a cold hotdog and stale bun. What exactly was the long wait for?! The hotdog was $68 each. We came here to try their sandos during lunchtime and they do not disappoint. They offer lunchset for lunch that includes a sando, a side salad/fries and a drink. Only the egg & bacon and beef brisket are available for lunchset so we ordered both to try and share. With the egg creamy in the centre and lightly fried while the bacon adding a savoury touch and texture to the overall, this sando is a must-try. It wasn’t greasy so it left us wanting more. The beef brisket sando was also quite impressive but not as memorable as the egg & bacon. We had lunch at this Sai Kung location last weekend. Great service, decent portion, relaxing setting and best of all they have highchairs for baby. Surprisingly not many restaurants have this facility, and they are very accommodating despite our baby made a mess. I have to admit, despite being a fan of Cupping Room’s coffee, I was first attracted to come for their instagrammable window. We arrived around 1:30pm and it was still packed with lunch crowd. We were lucky to be seated at the curved window area. Food is around $150 range for the bigger plates, but don’t expect big plates. We’ve ordered the pork belly bun and katsu-sando and they’ve given us the chef’s breakfast by mistake. We were hungry so we took it anyway. During lunch time, they offer a free side for any bigger plate order and we ordered the mille feuille potatoes, portobello mushroom and hummus. We liked the potatoes and hummus. The food overall is decent, portion on the small side at this price range. If you want to try this place and want to have something filling, get the pork belly bun. We had tried their first shop in Wanchai and had a good meal there, so we thought we’d give their Central location a try too. We ordered the sous vide short rib sandwich, short rib poutine and wings. The poutine was amazing. The short ribs were very tender, and they used a nice cheese (cheddar?) for the poutine, for that we were glad we ordered the sous vide short rib sandwich. We were excited to try this new local coffee shop since it opened earlier this year in Ap Lei Chau. Given the positive reviews, we had high hopes of making this place as our regular brunch spot. We ordered an avocado toast ($58), bacon sandwich ($63), a flat white ($38) and sesame latte ($43). The flat white was nice. It’s sad to say though that was the only good item among what we had ordered. The the bacon sandwich was lukewarm and the bacon was barely grilled. Worse, the avocado served was unripe! After seeing the positive reviews here and the tasting menu has most of their signature dishes, I decided to take my husband here for his birthday this year. On the day, the tasting menu had different dishes from that on website, so we ordered from the à la carte menu. We had the hamachi, fois gras terrine, pork belly, uni pasta and suckling pig. The hamachi was fresh though it didn’t excite us (we were expecting ceviche of some kind). Everything that followed though was wonderfully delicious and got better dish after fish. We wanted to try pork belly from tasting menu and they were very accomodating and made it for us. The fois gras terrine: Uni pasta:Highly recommend the uni pasta and suckling pig. Although it was of the crispy skin type, it was cooked to a tender perfection and beautifully paired with a smoky eggplant sauce, which we loved it even more. We ended the meal with a yuzu souffle. The pastry chef seemed eager to know our thoughts on the souffle, and we’d like to let him know that it was very airy and light. 👍🏼The staff was lovely as well. I was impressed that they remembered the booking was for a special occasion and did not need a reminder mid of the meal (which can be embarrassing sometimes). We had a great time. I was craving for some mentaiko pasta so I decided to head to Suzuki cafe. I ordered a soft shell crab pasta with mentaiko sauce and a sesame latte. It's been a long time since I've been to a Suzuki, so I was unaware they have stopped serving tap water, but mineral water is available for purchase. My pasta came and it was such a disappointment. The pitiful amount of mentaiko was not enough to mix with the cream sauce... wish I took a photo. Basically I had a soft shell crab pasta with cream sauce and not mentaiko sauce. What added to my disappointment was that I was quite thirsty and my latte didn't arrive until way after I was finished, so I had to swallow the pasta down dry. Well you know, I was too cheap to get a mineral water 🙄😆So, my comment to Suzuki cafe is that, if you want to maximize your profit in selling beverages instead of providing free water, then please step up your game a little and hire more staff for the bar. I have been longing for a good (cheap) banh mi in Hong Kong, and finally there is one opened in Central. The Original Banh Mi is $48, which is alright for Central. It comes with in-house baked French baguette with pâte spread, Vietnamese sausage slice, pickled carrots, coriander and chilli. It is not as thickly packed with Viet sausage slice like the ones I used to get from Vietnamese supermarkets in Chinatown (for like $12hkd), but this is good enough to fulfil my crave for banh mi. I might add $10 for extra meat next time just to make the sandwich more meaty. Recommend this place if you crave banh mi badly but do not want to pay $70+ in a sit-down restaurant for one. Returned to this cafe for a quick afternoon coffee and snack as I remember, their coffee is not bad. Ordered the smoked salmon toast, a latte and a banana special coffee drink. The toast was alright, would be better if the toast was toasted. The drinks took a long time to arrive, and so we asked for glass of water. We were told water is self-served, which is fine if they don't take service charge. Overall the food and drinks are not bad. Being a big cheese lover, I knew I have to pay this place a visit after seeing their cheese wheel pasta photos all over IG. Since it was my birthday, we decided to come here for a little birthday celebration. Upon entering the restaurant, I can already smell the sweet ol' cheese aroma in the air. Menu is pretty generic like most western restaurants in Hong Kong. I don't mind that much, since I have my eyes on the Parmagiano Reggiano sphagetti as main already. The idea of having such a creamy pasta all on my own is a bit crazy, but hey it's my birthday, it's the only day my cheese obsession not get judged. Back to the food. The crab & avocado salad was refreshing. I think there is some butter lettuce in it, which enhanced the creaminess of the avocado. One thing worth highlighting is that the kitchen waited for us to finish each dish before making the next. We waited quite a while for our soups after we finished our salad, but appreciate it that my french onion soup came hot from the oven. We were taken a bit by surprise that the lamb rack came before our pasta. Regardless we started on this and it was delicious. The lamb was tender and does not have the awful gamey taste. The tomatoes and eggplants were a bit odd when paired with the lamb. Would be nice if paired with roasted potatoes. The manager noticed the lamb was served before our pasta, and he immediately came over to apologize let us know the pasta will be served very soon. Again we appreciate their attentiveness. At last, the cheese wheel cart came to our table. The chef first poured Bacardi rum liberally into the cheese wheel, and set it on fire. After the cheese had melted, in went the sphagetti and bathed in the glorious melted cheese. It did not end here. The chef scraped out chunks of cheese and added to the sphagetti. It was so rich, so creamy, and so aromatic, I wish I could eat it all but I was already full half way. This dish will be great for sharing in group meals. 一直都喜歡Blue Butcher 的食物, 但就沒試過他們的weekend brunch。剛好我們一群食肉獸有空, 就相約試這裡的brunch。這裡brunch $398, 包antipasto buffet, foie gras station, waffle station, 一個main, 一個甜品。太餓, 沒把antipasto buffet 拍下。大約, 有蝦, 鮮蠔, 生吞拿魚粒, 煙三文魚沙律。當然也有鵝肝和窩夫, 我們這次的目的。 鵝肝是現煎的, 廚師師傅會看你碟上有多少片麵包多士來煎鵝肝的。Antipasto buffet 雖然選擇不多, 但全都新鮮。主菜來時我們已經七成飽了。但這個漢堡真的很多汁, 肉質有嚼口。忽發奇想, 我去拿了一塊鵝肝夾在漢堡上, 更肥美!在等甜品送來前我們去了拿窩夫。窩夫很鬆軟, 有水果及幾款甜漿讓你選。為了不想食太多, 我們每1/4格用不同漿: 有蜜糖, 朱古力醬, 雲呢拿醬, 和whipped cream。食到這我們真的食不下甜品, 就只點了每款一個, 總共3款。我只試了點salted caramel apple, 這個就有點像deconstructed apple pie, 有派餅碎, 蘋果, 忌廉和caramel醬。份量雖不多但食久了會有點膩。其他兩款真的食不下, 沒辦法評。因為十二月來, 昨天有現場彈奏, 很有聖誕氣氛。這裡和朋友來一齊食brunch不錯, 氣氛比較隨意。建議食早一點, 12 點來比較好。因為冷盤如蝦和蠔隔了很久才補, 若你遲來可能食不到。…ดูเพิ่มเติม

看到雜誌介紹這間由韓國三清洞來的部隊鍋, 又剛好天氣轉涼, 想立刻來試試。禮拜日2點來到, 有位不用等太好了!這裡每人要點一個鍋的份量 ($78/pp), 至少要叫兩份, 而他們會把餸都拼在同一個鍋。之後可以隨你中意加麵, 芝士, 其他配料。我怕老公食不飽, 就叫了有肉的 bulgogi 鍋 和部隊鍋。全部鍋都會有年糕。我格外叫了拉麵(忘了加幾多錢), 魚餅($18), 紫菜卷($18)。我超級中意食芝士, 當然也加錢加芝士份量(+$25)!在十分期待下部隊鍋終於送來! 好大盤, 其實份量已經足夠兩個人食。Bulgogi 肉真的比較少 建議大家叫海鮮,隔離枱叫了海鮮鍋真的不錯有青口。拼了部隊鍋, 所以有午餐肉, 洋蔥。當然也有年糕。若論加$25增加芝士份量, 我覺得不太值。本來是期待芝士舖滿半個鍋, 但只有一小pile。。。有點失望, 不足夠做到拉起來有芝士絲的效果。 其實全部都是香口的材料, 所以不會難食到哪裡去。個汁就有點“杰”, 微辣。紫菜卷麻麻地, 個麵粉面已經軟掉不脆。食完這個鍋已經很飽, 有點後悔叫了炒飯。但其實飯來後都還可以, 別看好像好大鍋, 其實飯是舖得很薄在鍋上。這個炒飯好香口, 但真的太油。食完整餐都有點消化不了的感覺。總共食了大約$300。其實以部隊鍋同炒飯這麼便宜的用料來說這餐真的不算便宜, 但趁熱鬧來試試無妨。…ดูเพิ่มเติม

約了朋友來食午餐。我是第一次來, 他們新的位置比以前方便多。下午他們有午餐套餐供應, 有前菜, 主菜, 和一杯咖啡或茶。餐牌上的選擇都是一些亞洲菜, 例如素餃子之類。我就選了日式avocado hand roll 和 東南亞Tempeh Rendang。這個手卷裡有牛油果, 蘿蔔, 其他的我都忘了。這個不錯, 紫菜很脆, 加上那塊紫蘇葉和芥末更加好味。雖然是素, 但食起來不會覺得寡。之後到這印尼mushroom tempeh rendang。Tempeh 是一個黃豆製品, 源於印尼。現在是食素裡其中一個常用的食品, 負責取代肉提供蛋白質。這個汁好濃的香料味, 就像咖哩一樣, 加上他們自製的roti蠻惹味。這裡食物不錯, 素菜式有創意。但唯一不滿就是埋單時, 服務員來問了兩次我們有沒有點一樣東西(聽不清楚他說了什麼)。我說朋友有額外叫了一杯咖啡, 他沒聽明白就硬說咖啡是隨餐。我就只好說我們只額外點了多一杯咖啡。結果單很久都沒來, 我們趕時間所以單一來我就簽。簽了之後才留意到單上多了一杯“berry cooler”! 才知道剛才他一直問這個。 其實都一直跟他說只多了一杯咖啡, 怎麼會多charge我們這杯飲料? 我們趕時間, 結果只好叫他們就給我們一杯外賣berry cooler 了事。食物是不錯, 但在服務上的一而再來問但又不肯聽清楚客人所說的, 不會再回來。…ดูเพิ่มเติม

現在想找豆漿栥飯都真難! 我知道的只有這間, 這天好懷念小的時候食豆漿栥飯做早餐, 就來食。其實這裡我比較喜歡他們的咸豆漿, 但今天點了甜的, 甜的都可以不是很甜但不是很滑。栥飯裡面的榨菜比較少, 剛看了其他食評才知道原來可以加錢加榨菜。如果可以多一點榨菜, 這個栥飯會好食點。說好食也算不上, 來都是只想找回以前上學前食豆漿栥飯的記憶。…ดูเพิ่มเติม
