I've eaten here four times in the past three months. The food is good but the service is terrible and slow. I believe they are short staffed in the kitchen and it takes too long for each dish to arrive. The worse is when the owner is entertaining his own guests and they seem to get priority with all their dishes being served first. Dined here about a dozen times and have never been disappointed with the food. Smallish menu but all dishes cooked with fresh ingredients and skill. My only beef with this place is their tiresome policy of not seating patrons unless the entire party is there. Total POA. Food was so so. Service was downright terrible. No smiles from the staff at all. Our server was completely ignorant of the dishes and couldn't answer any of our basic questions. When we asked the manager for a knife to cut the giant lump of rubbery squid on our papaya salad, he said ok, and then promptly forgot all about our request. We then asked another server for the knife, and she said the restaurant doesn't have any. Doesn't. Have. Any. Knives. In. A. Restaurant. That just about says it all.
