湯有驚喜但主菜似快餐

最近好想食意式千層麵,剛好上午喺半山開完會,中午就嚟到蘇豪附近搵食。睇過不少間意大利餐廳都冇意式千層麵,兜兜轉轉下嚟到呢間喺威靈頓街上樓嘅意大利餐廳,都冇時間心機睇食評,問侍應有冇意式千層麵?話有!我就坐低點咗餐。首先蘑菇湯有小驚喜,不是忌廉蘑菇湯,侍應特別講解話佢哋餐廳嘅蘑菇湯係唔會加忌廉,我個人喜歡,而且覺得冇用忌廉更加符合意大利菜嘅特色。飲落都好味,不過飲完喉嚨有少少乾,希望唔係有味精。主角千層麵終於嚟,賣相一般,有興趣可以睇其他食友上傳嘅相片。睇得出係高溫焗爐剛攞出嚟,上面嘅芝士仲起緊熱泡,怕燙傷忍住肚餓用上餐湯時附送嘅麵包棒輕輕垂直插入千層麵,立即熱氣爆升,吹幾下放到嘴裏都有少少被燙傷。不過失望接踵而至,簡單來說,就是一層芝士一層肉醬一層面一層肉醬…意大利國家咁大,可能有唔同類型嘅千層麵,但係呢間餐廳嘅千層麵就不敢恭維…單一品種嘅芝士份量都算幾足夠,肉醬好普通,千層麵係細長方形嘅軟淋淋千層麵;整體食落有啲似希臘嘅木莎卡,但冇茄子;總結就係似急凍食品或者快餐廳茶記等級嘅千層麵,超失望… 個人建議,我覺得千層麵可以有多少少acidity 酸味,或者加少少意大利香草都會有所幫助。…Read More

和太太二人訂了枱共晉午餐,質素有所下降。魷魚海膽 - 第一碟的海膽是臭的,退掉,第二碟的海膽也是臭的,唯有取消…雜錦天掃羅 - 較多月前失色少許,粉漿厚了一點,顏色偏黃,火候過熟不太到位,由 A- 少跌到 B;應該是人客太多,師傅忙不過來,油溫難以控制。(師傅忙到後來爆粗有點好笑…)另一方面,沾醬實需要多幾倍。甜蝦松露卷 - 甜蝦有「甜」味,不知是否食品工廠貨;個人覺得黑松露醬很「搶」,不屬我茶。雜錦刺生定食 - 除元貝和海膽外,魚全部都是魚,厚切較瘦的一塊搭肥美的一塊,吃了兩三樣已經覺得肚濟,最後實在吃不下去。感覺只是肥魚每樣來一點,不覺當中有什麼巧思。薄燒佐賀牛定食 - 太太喜歡,可惜最遲送來,已吃飽大半。火喉看上去差一點,較少部份有梅納反應,不夠肉香。炸蒜用得很大方,口氣熱氣怕怕。可能晚上較少客人的時候會有更好的用餐體驗,夏天食材容易變壞亦是挑戰。…Read More

失望的餃子一餐

肚子有點不舒服想來碗沁人心腑的麵食,看了食評不錯便來到這問小店,下午兩點左右剛好不用等位,總結如題有點兒失望,怕是不會再光顧… 墨魚餃 - 黑色的墨魚餃很有特色,汁水飽滿但味道質感不怎麼樣。味道方面,可能由於現在是盛夏所以有一陣似鮮擬臭的海鮮味,質感的問題更大,很散碎,如果用做廣東式肉餅的手法將餡料攪拌至有粘性可能會較好。餃子上桌的時候尚溫暖但由於冷氣很大轉眼便冷卻下來了,冷下來後更顯難吃。芝麻醬(熱)拌麵 - 伴菜的刀工和顏色配搭不錯,麵條合格,但靈魂醬料很稀薄,芝麻花生味不夠濃郁。上湯浸西蘭花 - 洗得乾淨,吃得安心。京蔥羊肉餅 - 最期待的一道菜但失望而回。餡料多汁但質感問題如上,且煎過了火,兩邊黑黑的(忘了拍照)我個人是不敢吃的,唯有伴少許醋吃了頗油的餡料和四邊的餅料便算。…Read More

火鍋燒烤兩相宜

約二十年前在三潘市的華人餐館裡火鍋燒烤兩食自助餐很是風行,通常是中間火鍋爐然後圍著有鐵板可以燒烤,很受年輕人歡迎。今次慶祝工人姐姐生日,顧及家中不同成員的喜好,發現九龍這邊只有這一間餐廳有火鍋燒烤兩食,上網見評語和環境不錯便來一試,結果喜出望外。環境採日式設計十分漂亮舒適,店內外都可以發現到打卡位枱與枱距離頗遠,倍覺安心一家五口三大兩小,有工人姐姐又有小朋友,選了最便宜的套餐,點了鰹魚昆布湯和特別推薦的牛腩湯底;牛腩湯底很足料,有肉有筋,軟糯入味有膠質,絕對比某些出名的清湯腩名店更美味,可惜牛腩很頂胃所以只選了一些軟嫩多筋的淺嘗,有點浪費。坐下先來一份刺身(拍照位),由於我們有小孩子所以帶子和三文魚都用鐵板煮至約7成熟,其他食材都灼一兩秒,鮮味尤在,食得安心第一次幫襯用手機點菜一開始有點困難,不過後來漸入佳景。慣例先吃蔬菜,較特別和CP值高的有蘆筍和冰菜,然後覺得有趣的都先來一份試一試,結果壽司、紫菜飯、烏冬和拉麵都很美味,明知是店舖策略都令人難以留肚,而燒肉蘸特製蒜醬汁後送飯真係極~~~品。後期便正路主攻肉類,火鍋用的牛肉略肥,牛舌和牛腹肉絕對是真愛!飯後甜品還有 Movenpick 雪糕,雖然可惜只有兩款口味,不過也是完美的句號。見其他食評有寫地下頗油,確實如此,燒肉難免,但我見隔鄰枱走後店員真的很認真大清潔,抵讚!員工多是年輕人,大致都很友善勤快樂意幫忙,讚!唯一想餐廳改善的是通風抽氣,我見應該是採用盤邊抽氣式設計,不過吸力麻麻,連火鍋的水蒸氣都不是太能抽走,吃完後返屋企要由頭洗到落腳,所有衫都要入洗衣機。尋晚食完今日已經令人回味,期望短期內會再去幫襯  下次一定要中午留肚再去同佢死過!樓層的男女廁很細,頗奇怪地會難免見到對方廁所的洗手位,出入會撞頭,有點不好意思。…Read More

曾有段時間經常要到長沙灣廣場工作,PICOSO 總是我午餐時的其中一個考慮,今日因工之便又來幫襯。自取外賣點了每次都點的卷餅,今次主角選的是手撕雞肉。PICOSO 不知道是否屬於德薩斯州式的,卷餅裡不會放飯;加州的通常都會放黃色調味的飯,尤記得我第一次來幫襯時還特意對店員說少飯,當時店員回應說他們的卷餅不放飯時我還呆了一呆。言歸正傳,倘大的粟米餅卷進了豆泥、手撕雞肉和炒洋蔥,另上的有牛油果醬、酸忌廉和莎莎醬。不知道是否要將食物升格的關係,牛油果醬、酸忌廉和莎莎醬(Salsa)會另上,其實我後來已經習慣了請店家將所有材料都包到卷餅裏,對我來說,「方便」也是一種味。今次事隔太久我竟然忘了,拿著外賣回到辦公室時才發現醬料另上,嘗試翻開卷餅重包不果,吃時一卷三醬還甚狼狽。靈魂餅皮略嫌太薄,一來不太夠飽肚(我通常都會到別家買多個飯團打底),二來沒有飯而材料汁水多容易滲漏。內裏的美味豆泥超級燙,每次一開始急不及待將卷餅送到嘴裏品嚐時都會被燙傷。手撕雞肉是墨西哥調味,雞胸肉略嫌乾柴,我每次品嚐時都希望會有雞腿肉。炒洋蔥順紋切成條狀增加了口感,不是全熟帶有一絲刺激味,只是吃後可能會口吐芳香。莎莎醬(Salsa)是墨西哥的靈魂醬料,墨西哥餐館都會有自己的秘方,當地甚至會有莎莎醬的比賽。我認為 PICOSO 做得不過不失,頗合我口味。牛油果醬是我的最愛,有些香港的店家會額外收費(大約10至20元不等),PICOSO 是必有的,良心之作。總結而言,PICOSO 不是我最心怡的墨西哥餐廳,但考慮到地點方便和要定期慰藉我的墨西哥魂,還是我的考慮之選。…Read More
