2011 的第一天, 是非常美好的一天. 天氣非常好, 只見藍藍的天, 沒有雲, 也不太冷. 下午和F在西頁兜了一圈, 談著過去一年的感受. 2010 是非常有意義的一年, 感激 F 一直在我身邊引領我走過一段自我探索之路.慶祝新一年的開始, 我們在 Farm Kitchen Vegi 吃 dinner buffet. 這間餐廳我 27 Dec 到訪過, 那時吃的是午餐, 感覺很好, 所以決定試一試它的 dinner buffet. 七時到達, 因為訂了位, 就不用等. Dinner buffet 是任點任食形式, 即叫即做. menu 分前菜, 湯, 炸物, 肉類, 飯, 意粉, 甜品, 等等. 每個類別大約有六至七款選擇. 我和 F 都不是胃納很大的人, 所以每次只點二至三道菜, 實行 "慢食". 沙律是自助形式. 我最鐘意bell pepper, 非常的甜. Vegi 實是這裡的主打, 各類蔬菜都非常好吃. 愛吃蔬菜的朋友一定要試試. 我們點了大概十四, 五道菜. 每道菜的味道都很好 (水準平均!), 特別是以下幾道:薄切灸燒牛肉伴雜菜沙律黑醋汁 (牛肉超軟超嫩!)芥辣蟹肉牛油果他他沙律船 燒三文魚露筍沙律伴温泉蛋大葉汁 (三文魚很香很軟)紅酒燴牛舌 (紅酒香得不得了!)魚柳帶子燒煙肉值得一提的是, 除了蔬菜新鮮清甜, 每道菜的醬汁都超讚! 而且每道菜的賣相都很美! 可謂色香味俱全喇.我們從七點一直吃到十點半. 坦白說, 上菜的速度不是很快 (即叫即做嘛), 但正配合我們的速度 (吃得太急就太撐啦). 我們邊聊邊享受美食, 時間不知不覺就過了. 吃到最後也不覺得太飽太膩, 因為菜式不會很油很 heavy. 吃得舒服和健康也是很重要的啦.除了食物質素高以外, 這裡的環境也是很舒適的. 桌子的距離不會很近, 坐得舒服, 而且侍應的態度也是親切有善的, 也很有禮貌. 我們的桌子靠近露台位置會吹到風, 侍應怕風太大, 很細心的問了我們幾次要不要為我們關上通往露台的門. 服務值得一讚.整體來說我們對這間餐廳非常滿意. 和朋友去完大美督, 回程時決定在西沙路附近晚餐, 隨便選了這間未試過的西沙茶座.餐廳提供免費泊車, 星期一至五也免收開瓶費. 朋友之前就說了要和我慶祝, 所以帶了一支白酒. 免收開瓶費就 very good.星期二晚七點的餐廳人不多. 我們坐在露天有太陽傘的位置 (不知為何待應會問我們: "有遮位好唔好?", 又不是大白天), 桌上放著蠟燭, 感覺舒適. 甫坐下, 待應就向我們推介食物. 我個人不太喜歡這種頗 pushy 的做法, 但待應推介的食物卻剛好符合我們的食量和口味 (也沒有要我們點很貴和過多的菜), 這點加分. 我們二人點了馬拉盞炒芥蘭, 黃咖哩牛腩, 燒豬頸肉和印度薄餅 (naan bread).朋友請待應開酒和拿冰桶, 待應有禮地做妥. 菜很快就上. 黃咖哩正如待應所說的一點不辣, 但稍嫌不夠香; 牛腩很腍也有不少筋, 不錯. 和著吃的牛油naan bread 不太有牛油香味, 但也算烤得不錯, 不會過乾. 馬拉盞炒芥蘭連鐵板上, 芥蘭頗嫩也不苦, 好吃. 反而豬頸肉有點乾硬. 朋友帶來的德國白酒非常好喝. 這麼清甜的白酒還是第一次喝到 (真是一喝上癮!). 邊喝美酒邊聊天的感覺真的非常好. 餐廳的位置可看到月亮 (而這天看到的是滿月), 這對喜歡賞月的我們來說是加分位. 除了因為看到月亮而感動, 席間也發生了另一件令我相當感動的事: 話說餐廳有樂手表演, 並會為每枱客人即唱獻唱. 當我和朋友正在想要點什麼歌的時候 (朋友提議 First of May, 因她知我看著月光聽 First of May 會莫名感動), 樂手正好走到鄰桌接受點唱. 我沒聽到身旁的食客點了什麼歌; 但當音樂響起我就呆了! 竟然就是 First of May! 我禁不住拍枱, 而朋友就笑著說: "慢了一步". 那一刻我真的是非常感動的. 感覺好像所有事情早有了安排, 包括我和妳的相遇相知. 能夠在月光下聽著 First of May 和妳分享我們對這一段旅程的感覺, 心裡的感動是無法言喻的. 向來鐘意食 scone, 所以見到呢間專賣 scone 的店當然要第一時間試. scone 有兩種味道, 提子同芝士, 分別賣 $18 三個 & $ 21 三個. 其實以 size 黎計係幾貴, 因為每個只有 4.5cm x 4 cm 大, 高就大約 2.5 cm. 買了三個提子味. 由於係新鮮出爐, 真係熱辣辣, 香噴噴. 一口咬落去, 嘩, 鬆化程度比文華的出品有過之而無不及, 而且牛油香味更濃, 又不會乾身. 個人覺得比文華的更出色, 不用塗 jam 已美味非常. 推薦各位 scone 迷去試試!…Read More

中秋節的晚上來這裡吃飯. 身體不好不能亂吃東西, 只想吃簡單一點, 心目中的菜式是一條蒸魚, 另加一個小菜. 上 OR 找了一會, 看到這間蛇王彪評價不錯, 而人就宜安街, 所以便來試一試.M 挑了一條不知什麼名堂的魚. 另叫了一個滑蛋炒蝦仁, 一個白飯和一碗魚茸粥.枱上寫著全部菜式均即叫即整, 所以需時. 時間尚早 (六時半), 等一會也不是問題.先來的是滑蛋炒蝦仁 ($68), 份量頗大, 起碼用了五只蛋來炒. 蛋炒得滑而綿密, 蝦是新鮮蝦, 雖然味道不是很鮮, 但總比雪藏蝦仁好. 而且蝦仁的 size 也不小. 這個炒蛋做得相當不錯.再來是魚. 火候掌握得非常好, 魚骨附近的魚肉剛離骨, 不會過老, 值得一讚. 這條不知名堂的魚不算很鮮, 魚肉也不是很滑, 但以 $88 的價錢來說, 合格有餘. 蒸魚的豉油不是家裡常吃的那種帶甜的豉油. 我個人好甜. 所以這豉油對我來說吸引力不大.魚茸粥 ($14) 則相當精采. 粥算綿, 除了魚茸, 還下了瑤柱, 用料豐富. 粥有魚湯的鮮味, 也很滑. 相當好.總體來說, 這一餐很滿意. 雖然坐得不是很舒服, 但以這個價錢吃到好吃的家常菜, 已很滿足. 順帶一提, 這店有很多鹿肉菜式, 什麼鹿肉米線, 薑醋, 就連鹿尾巴都有. 好此道者可以一試. …Read More

謝謝 M, 特地從新開的馬莎 bakery 為我買來我喜歡的 Blueberry Muffin.Muffin 的 size 比馬莎百貨賣的包裝 muffin (一袋四個那種) 要大很多. 當然, 價錢也貴很多. 袋裝的賣 $28/4 個, 這新鮮的就要 $15 一個.雖然是貴, 但食味就很不一樣.它沒有 Mrs. Fields muffin 的甜膩, 牛油下得比較少. 相比起馬莎百貨賣的包裝 muffin, 它的質感沒有那麼 moist, 但就比較鬆軟 (有點像鬆糕). 最精采的要算是 blueberry - 整個 muffin 都佈滿了 blueberry, 而且味道新鮮.聽說這 bakery 的麪包, 麪團是在英國做好, 然後再送來香港焗製, 務求做到"原汁原味". 這個 idea 不錯. 有機會一定要試試這 bakery 的其他麪包.thanks M. My friend got a super monday card (meaning buy-one-get-one-free for main course) so we popped in for dinner.we ordered:1) Gnocchi with lamb in ragu sauce - it was great! the gnocchi is so soft! and plenty of lamb in this delicious ragu sauce. very tasty indeed!2) Grilled swordfish with crispy potato and creamy sweet corn - the fish got a delcious grilled flavour, but the texture is a bit too hard. the thin slices of potato are not crispy at all, but the other veggi (like the creamy sweet corn paste and the spinach) are nicely done.3) Chocolate fudge cake - the fudge cake got a moist and tender texture, together with the ice-cream and chocolate sauce it's just heavenly!4) Lemon tart - the tart got a slightly crispy top, and a soft middle layer. it has a very fresh lemon flavour and a hint of egg flavour. together with the very smooth (very smooth indeed) lemon-flavoured cream it's something you shouldn't miss!Overall, food is nice. HK Epicurus How do I obtain one of those Super Monday passes? I actually quite like this shop, even walked past here tonight lol :)Had some small problems last time though! But its still better than a lot of more expensive restaurants in the area!

About the Super Mondays Card - my colleague got hers from a friend. But how did her friend got it I don't know. I can check - my colleage is currently on leave and I will ask her when she resumes work next week.Actually the buy-one-get-one offer is not only applicable to Mrs. Jones, but also to a number of other restaurants in Central. 要到沙田辦點事, 在OR 找到這間comment 不錯的中式飯店. 於是坐小巴過來試一試.從未去過禾輋, 對這裡的環境完全沒有概念. 找了好一陣子才找到這間康樂飯店. 一進門, 坦白說, 感覺不大好. 客人大都是老人家, 而且枱布殘舊兼有點髒髒的感覺. 因為二人枱很少, 於是被安排坐到洗手間門口的一張枱, 甫坐下, 傳來陣陣"異香", 實在難受. 最後決定還是要換一張枱, 坐到收銀後面去.既來之, 則安之. 知道這裡的名菜是梅菜扣肉, 當然要來一客. 由於只得兩個人, 所以只再叫了一個南乳藕片, 另加兩個白飯.梅菜扣肉 - 朋友說肉不是平價貨. 我不會分辨, 乾脆一口咬下, 試其滋味. 來一件半肥瘦的, 那肥肉很軟腍, 但不會吃得一口油, 不錯. 瘦的部份不會乾, 但稍嫌不較鬆化. 味道方面不是偏甜那一種, 梅菜下得較多, 好吃. 份量方面是頗大的, 每人吃了四, 五件. 五十元這個價錢是相當抵食的. 南乳藕片 - 這道菜比想像中要好. 藕片薄身之餘有咬口, 南乳很香, 加上唐芹, 不錯. 附送的紅豆沙也不錯吃. 陳皮很香. 雖不至於很"沙", 但合格有餘. 是夜由於有人打麻雀, 而我們又坐近那耍樂地帶, 所以麻雀聲此起彼落, 相當嘈吵. 不過整體來說食物好吃, 服務不差而且價錢實惠, 難怪好評這麼多了. …Read More

本來想到天后的 3R 午膳, 但早上致電訂位時發現今天不做午市. 朋友在 OR search 到這間餐廳, 見食評不錯, 便來試一試.一時半到達. 要了一個羊架 set lunch ($108, 連 salad, soup and coffee/tea). 另叫了一個白酒蜆意粉. 湯是意大利菜湯, 味道很鮮, 不錯. 雞肉 salad 也合格, veggie 很新鮮.白酒蜆意粉 - 蜆很大隻, 也有鮮味, 數量也頗多. Linguine 煮得不錯, 不會過腍, 但不算 al dente. 意粉的酒味不強但偏辣 (很少吃到那麼辣的白酒蜆意粉). 這個意粉算蜆最好.羊架配薯菜 - 待應沒有問羊架要多少成熟, 出來是可接受的八成熟. 外面煎得有少許過熟 (因而有點硬) 但裡面還算鮮嫩. 薯菜是薯條和炒過的椰菜和煙肉. 薯條可算是敗筆 - 很熱也算厚身但味道是快餐點薯條的味道. 整體來說不錯但沒有驚喜. 以每人$130 的價錢可以有更好的選擇 (bonheur 的 lunch 也是這個價錢, 但食物質素會好一些, 而且餐廳格局更像 fine dining). …Read More

在宏安道的 Henry's Kitchen 吃過 lunch, 見 toppings 就在附近而且不是太飽便把握機會再戰下場. 第一次吃這裡的 hotdog, 所以選了最 basic 的 frankfurter. 腸的質地不錯, 但沒有煎得很香. 反而配料成了整隻熱狗的靈魂. 任加的配料有菠蘿青瓜片酸瓜蕃茄 etc. 我就隨意加了一堆再加茄汁和芥辣. 所有配料和著一起吃真的是大滿足! 特別是菠蘿! 原來菠蘿配熱狗係好好食!$27 一隻 frankfurter 不算便宜. 但配料可以任加又真的是相當過癮. …Read More

第一次來這裡吃甜品. 和朋友叫了杏仁茶和士多嗥梨椰果西米露. 朋友的杏仁茶我沒試, 但聞到很濃的杏仁味. 我的士多嗥梨椰果西米露頗有驚喜. 整體上是 strawberry yogurt 的質感和味道, 夾有碎冰. 椰果很爽口, 而西米竟然是脆的! 特別值得一提的是另有一小碗西米附上, 姐姐說是邊食邊加. 那另附的西米是腍身的, 混入西米露裡, 口感頓時又豐富了: 脆身的西米和腍身的西米混和在一起, 口感很特別. 這店的客人很多, 而雖然姐姐們都做到不停手, 但服務還是很不錯的. …Read More
