Took advantage of the restaurant’s Early Bird Special lunch on Lunar New Year 3rd day, both my husband and I ordered wagyu as main course. My wagyu ribeye was just lukewarm and served on a simple white plate with no garnish. The quality of meat was poor - full of tendon and no beef taste at all. With 3 out of 5 meat dishes on menu as wagyu, I would have expected much more finesse. Restaurant was nice enough to exchange another main course for me, and I ordered a safer choice - Carbonara pasta, which was pretty good but small portion. Service was polite but waiters were every inexperienced as if just hired to stand in for a holiday shift. We even had to ask for proper steak knives. It’s a $500 lunch but food quality and service certainly not worth! Waiters rushed us through our meal by servicing our main courses when we were still in the middle of appetizers. 😠When we were about to order dessert, we were asked to leave our table (cos it’s booked by another party) and we were to have dessert at the bar table. 😳When we tried to reason, we were told point blank that this 1 hour+ policy was stated clearly on the online booking site. 😤Food was not even great, just average.
