very bad bad service and the food sucks!!!!!!!!!!!
東川麻辣酸辣雞湯米線
2011-05-03
I usually went there for the noodles but somehow I decided to go there today for the dumpling (which turns out to be a very bad decision).I ordered the fried dumplings as soon as I set down hoping I don't need to wait too long. I waited nearly 30 minutes for 5 dumplings, unbelieveable waiting time. It won't be that bad if the people there was polite, I asked 5 times before I can get a decent answer to my long wait, one of the waitress said the dumplings takes time because it need to be cookes as you cannot eat the meat raw, as if I am stupid. This just ticks me off, as of course it will be wrong to serve peopel raw food. I originally ordered a hot lemon tea, but after such a long wait, it become cold, can you believe it a hot drink in a hot weather become cold drink. After almost 35 minutes, the dumpling finally arrived but it was not cook properly as I can tell the out part is not burned at all, or even slight burn. The worst part the waitress said it was not the one I order and asked if I take it. Because it has been 35 minutes wait and as I was hungry as hell, I give in and said yes, but to my utmost disappointment it taste bad: 1) the skin is not crispy 2) the stuffing is tastless 3) the stuffing is mushy and 4) you cannot picked it up properly with your chopstick. So I barely eat some of it and leave. The people service was bad, as bad as if I were to give it out of 10, it will be -10. So if any of you was thinking of going to for dumpling I was warned you not to go but the noodles is ok. I have no idea how or why they screw up at a non rush hour period where the orders is not high and with a simple dish like this, even if the stuffing is bad, at least make it crispy. …Read More

I used to be a customer of this restaurant. But i noticed the quality of the food is getting worse. Not as worse as what happen today. In the past, there used to be a designated person who cook noodles. However in nowadays, I am suprise to find that the person who took my order is also the person who made my noodles. She clearly don't know how to cook noodles, as my noodles is in pieces and I cannot eat it with my chopstick and I meant small piece. Not only this , I found the noodle taste not as good as before, the person there clearly provide no service and never show you to your seat, all they do is chat in the front of the store. The lady who sat on the table in front of me has too yell three time before someone can take her order.Even though I lived near this restaurant I would never go back again. I have also post a photo to prove what I mean into piece (look at the spoon). …Read More

Taipei

I went there after its opening, but I think I won't go again. The person who make my bubble tea was the same person who took my order. But I saw her simply pour what is left of the previous bubble tea into my cup. Then merely just shake it gently, clearly not what the other store do.The she served my tea, the tea is itself is not worth the $12, as the store around the corner is much cheaper. Plus the tea itself is not that cold >_<. because I am worry about how long the other half of tea (the half she pour into my newly made one) has been sitting around, so I end up throwing it into the grabage bin. The two lady in the store is clearly not prof. or have anything about hygine. Or may be is the store policy (very cheap la).. I won't clearly recommend anyone to go to this place. …Read More

too much onion
Cambo Cafeteria
2010-04-29
I went to this restaurant for lunch today but was very disappointed.I order a noddle with 雞絲扎肉 (lunch special), the taste of this was ok. But the quantity was not ok la, simply more onion and bean spouts in my bowl than acutally noodle. How much onion? not a handful or a bit that other restaurant offer. In my bowl there is at least a cup of sliced onions, If my noodles were to be divided into three parts, one and a half is onion, one part bean spout and only one half of it is noodles. After I ate it, it was surely not enough for lunch, I have to got myself a bun to satisfy my hunger..... It is really not worth the $28 lunch special. (To make things clear, I am not a big eater, only eat half of what a regular portion of a normal diet).I also checked the price for a rare beef noodle soup. It is $40 no drinks. Which is quite expensive for this location.i would say i won't recommend this restaurant for anyone nor will I go again...…Read More

food colouring 雞蛋仔
豐記雞蛋仔
2010-02-25
I like their idea of different flavor of 雞蛋仔 as sometimes 雞蛋仔 itself may be too plain. Especially sometime when you are looking for something more rich in flavour. However, taro 雞蛋仔 doesn't mean taste like taro. I wouldn't know I am eating taro 雞蛋仔 except it is purple in colour. I would say if you walk by that area and you are looking for 雞蛋仔 don't pick taro flavor as it is really food colouring to be honest.. …Read More

雞蛋仔? not that good really
利強記北角雞蛋仔
2010-02-25
Despite the fact it has many famous customer, I really don't think it is good 雞蛋仔 as it has a heavy taste of baking soda in it, simply just crispy but not rich sweet egg flavor. I don't like that cripsy as it taste quite fake not as what I used to remember about 雞蛋仔. I don't go back for it. It simply doesn't worth the money nor the waiting time. …Read More
