川菜麻辣人人有, 自問正宗有幾間!

之前譚仔(3哥)話佢係第一個教香港人食辣, 可能對其它香港人係, 但我就一定係我老豆教嘅, 好似飲酒一樣, 想當年喺5星級酒店飲支依家喺超市都仲係賣緊幾十蚊嘅酒都要幾舊, 又好似d人話正宗嘅川菜, 其實乜嘢係正宗? 我覺得大陸口味就最正宗! 呢間係我喺香港食過最似喺大陸食嘅其中一間, 主打水煮魚,  孜然羊肉, 辣子雞, 辣酒煮花螺等,仲有好多特色嘢, 到時自己問老闆啦!不過你話唔食辣得唔得, 係可以嘅! 叫老細買海鮮就可以食得清淡d, 今次老細買左蟹, 蝦, 生蠔, 聖子, 再加幾個餸送酒就搞掂! 再串d 食埋大閘蟹都得, 老細整嘅薑茶特別正, 原來除左呢間分店, 元朗嗰間先至係總店, 呢排天氣涼咗, 仲有羊腩煲,雞煲同烤魚今次呢班老友唔多飲得, 所以重質不重量, 佢哋鍾意重口味同老酒, 但我又唔多鐘意新世界, 因為佢哋一定会帶支奔富數字系列, 今次佢哋就帶左支407, 雖然對我嚟講其實只有95同707是比較吸晴! 但係對我d老友嚟講奔富始終係佢哋飲酒嘅初戀, 所以點都有d情意結, 我就帶左支意大利西拉子, 呢支嘢俾人抄起晒, 由最初我飲嗰陣3位數到依家4位數, 支貓鬚係一級園, 最少都要3位數起跳, 可能因為冇特級園嘅關係, 冇幾耐, d餸開始嚟, 嘩! 阿老闆! 我哋得4個人, 你蝦又1斤, 聖子又每人3隻, 蠔又2筒, 仲洗食其它嘢嘅! 重點係d酒都未點飲! 老闆話: 係你哋細食姐! 無耐, 見到東方不敗(魯振順)喺隔離枱入座, 個個爭住做小粉絲集郵, 東方不敗初時有d愕然, 後尾知道原來影相姐, 即刻笑返, 仲擺埋po屎添, 班老友話最近咁嘅環境都少左出嚟食, 我話飯始終要食, 酒始終要飲, 最重要係好多人屋企唔係話咁大, 又冇工人姐姐,你估咁易坐到十幾人咩, 再加上又有老婆仔女, 有d 個老婆唔飲, 有d個老公唔飲, 所以點都要出嚟鬆一鬆, 咪你結婚前又毒, 結婚後又毒, 咁你嘅人生仲有乜意義呢!Before Tam Chai (Brother 3) said he taught the Hong Kong people to eat hot and spice, maybe to some Hong Kong people, but for me, it must be my Dad, just like drinking wine, from the good old days it cost a few hundred for a bottle that you can buy now in the supermarket under a hundred. But I don’t like new world wine much, because they must bring the Penfolds number series, this time they brought a 407, actually for me only the 95 and 707 is more eye attractive, but for my friends these are their first love when they start drinking wine! For this reason, I brought an old world shiraz from Italy and a white from burgundy, these wine prices went up a lot recently from 3 digit to 4 digit. Awhile later the dishes start to come, hey boss, we only have 4 people but you bought us ½ kg of prawn, 3 each of razor clam and 2 each of oyster, no quota for other dishes! And most importantly the wine still not started drinking yet! The boss said: you appetite are too small!Later, we saw a famous TVB star (Henry Lo Chun Shun) sitting in the next table, everyone was asking for photo, at first he was shocked, later he knows we only want a photo together, then immediately showing his smile and get ready for the photo, my friends said situation nowadays in Hong Kong was eating less outside than before, I said everyone needs to eat and drink, especially for those that their home are tiny and without helper, which is not easy to sit for 10+ people , in addition, there might be wife and kids, some of them the wife don’t drink, some of them the husband don’t drink, therefore need to chill out no matter what, otherwise what’s the point of living.…Read More

今日突然收到畫圖妹WhatsApp, 話要買支table wine今晚年30團年,叫我介紹, 我話不如我買俾你啦!(唔駛煩!)又問我喺邊度返工, 我話乜你唔知架咩!?佢話唔記得, 咁都難怪, 因為我同佢其實都好耐冇聯絡, 對上嗰次係因為佢D common friend 嗌燒嘢食, 但佢唔得閒,點解呢? (後尾問返先知)原来係因為佢公司annual dinner 要飛返上海食, 但係竟然係食日本嘢,真係O晒嘴!心諗:喺香港食又平又正啦! 不過,可能佢老細話, 唔係俾你哋食架, 係俾我啲客食架!Anyway, 就好似葉Sir D 飯局咁, 唔係飲Bordeaux 1st growth, 就係飲DRC, 點解呀!? 因為一睇就知係貴嘢同好嘢, 人人都識! 咁你話係咪真係咁好飲, 見人見智啦, 不過好多人會覺得: 呢個價, 大把選擇, btw 喺蒙瓶嘅情況下, 好多名酒評家都飲唔出呢個價位, 咁證明佢哋絕大部份人(包括好多名酒評家)其實都係label drinker, 正因為咁,我最鐘意同d唔知酒為何物, 淨係知好唔好飲嘅人飲酒,因為佢哋係毫無bias! 正如好多HR 同你講,係一張白紙今日老細識做放半日, 我見未食lunch咪問下畫圖妹食唔食囉, 順便畀埋支酒佢, 估唔到佢一口就答應,仲話要請我食飯補數, 我最鐘意呢D咁爽快嘅囡囡, 好快畫圖妹已經send咗個餐廳地址俾我,係Mrs Pound, 我一睇地圖, 兩頭唔到岸(兩個地鐵站中間),哽係搭的士啦,去到(2:04pm) 畫圖妹已經坐咗喺度, 問下有冇開瓶費,佢話$200, 因為呢餐係畫圖妹請嘅關係, 當然要睇佢頭,咁佢話唔OK,咪轉場囉, 其實佢嘅要求好簡單,坐得舒服同免開瓶費就OK, 我哋轉咗幾個場,分別係旁邊間cafe($100開瓶), celebrity cuisine(太貴), 蓮香樓(太逼,太嘈), 最後揀左呢間上海弄堂,本來話垃圾酒收$50, 後尾又話2018加咗收$100,你講晒啦! 畫圖妹同我都肚餓唔想行(嗰陣已經差唔多3點)我問畫圖妹洗唔洗趕住返公司,佢話唔洗, 因為佢老細返咗大陸,無皇管,我話哈你公司都幾free喎! 佢話最緊要有貨交,其它嘢佢老細都唔多理, 我話咁不如早d走啦, 佢又話要坐夠鐘,心諗: 邊有人會放長假前做嘢吖,由其係D大陸公司, 聖誕已經放軟手腳啦,睇完餐牌,畫圖妹叫咗個2人餐, 佢話想食川椒雞, 我乜都OK, 因為對我嚟講都係送酒, 揀左個set lunch都算多嘢食,又湯,又前菜,美中不足係冇甜品, 間嘢又坐得舒服, D 嘢食就OK啦, 唔難食, 同支老妖都襯到, 呢支酒我飲過幾次,表現都幾穩定, 換句話講『悶』,大概10-15分鐘開, 雖然係咁, 但係我一定會一開就斟出嚟飲下試下佢performance 而唔係好似好多人咁, 飲都未飲就decanter, 我基本上乜酒都係, 只係喺隻杯度醒, 因為好多時一落decanter支酒就散, 飲落好似係開咗,其實已經無咗好多嘢(尤其係老酒!),畫圖妹都幾犀利,一飲就話要等等(breath), 又問點解支嘢叫老妖, 我話唔記得,叫佢上網搵,點知佢搵極都無, 哈!個樓面全程好招呼, 話頭醒尾有講有笑,完滿咁喺Happy hour食完呢餐!之後送返畫圖妹返公司攞袋走人(嗰陣已經成5點)Today suddenly received a WhatsApp from a female designer, saying she want to buy a table wine for the dinner before Chinese New Year (CNY), ask me for recommendation, I said better I just buy one for you (less hassle) She also asked where I work, I was surprise and ask you didn’t know? She said cant remember, that is predictable, because we actually didn’t contact each other for quite awhile and the last time we did was because our common friend asking for Barbeque, but she was busy, why? You might ask yourself, (Later she told me) because of her company annual dinner, she need to fly back to shanghai, but surprisingly was eating Japanese food, I was speechless, knowing that Hong Kong is better and cheaper, but maybe her boss said this is not for you is for my customer!Anyway, is similar to Mr Yip (a former Government senior executive) wine gathering, if not drinking Bordeaux 1 growth, he would be drinking DRC, Why? You might ask, it’s because everyone when you saw these wine, you will immediately recognize that its famous for its quality and high price, but if you ask yourself is the taste really good? Well! Different people have different opinion, but many people will tell you at this price, we have many choices, By the way, most famous wine critics at a blind tasting situation, they cannot taste the price difference, that prove most people (including many famous wine critics) was actually label drinker and because of this, I would prefer to drink with someone who don’t know about wine, because they have no bias! As many Human Resource guy will tell you: as a blank paper.Today boss let us to have a half day off, I realize still didn’t have my lunch yet and ask my female designer friend to join me and of course also bring the wine to her, surprisingly she said yes without thinking, what’s more is she volunteer to pay the bill! I like girl with this kind of personality, very soon, she already send me the address of the restaurant, is Mrs Pound, when I first saw the map (it’s between 2 MTR station), I immediately jump on the taxi without thinking, when I arrived (2:04pm) She was already sitting down there, I ask if it has corkage fee, they said $200, and because the bill is on her, of course I will wait for her response, when she said not okay, we move on to the next restaurant, actually her request is simple, to be eating (and drinking of course!) comfortable and free corkage, we changed a couple of restaurant, i.e. the café besides ($100 corkage), celebrity cuisine (too expensive), Lin Heung Tea House (too crowded and too noisy), finally we choose this Shanghai Lane, at the beginning they said crap wine charge $50, then they said 2018 already raise the price to $100, Well! She and me already hungry and want to settle down (by that time is already 3pm)I ask if she need to head back to office early and she said no, because her boss is in Mainland, is nice that you had freedom in your office I said, and she said the most important thing is to have her work handed, apart from that her boss didn’t care much, leave early then I said, she said need to wait till the office hour finish, who will be doing or thinking about their work before long vacation I said, especially Mainland company, most already slow down their work during Christmas, after seeing the menu, she order a set lunch for 2, she said want to eat Sichuan style chicken, I will eat whatever, because for me the food is just for accompany the wine, the set has quite a lot to eat including soup and appetizer but unfortunately there is no desert, the restaurant is quite comfy, the food is good although not great and match with the Dugat PY as well, this wine I’ve drank for a few times, quite consistent, in other words “boring”, should wait for about 10-15mins to air, although that’s the fact, but the first thing I must do when open is to pour a few into my glass and try check for its performance, unlike many people, already put the whole bottle into the decanter, for whatever wine I drink, I will only decan in the glass, because most of the case when you put the whole bottle into the decanter, the wine will go off very quickly if not immediately (especially for old wine), she has the potential in wine tasting and ask me to wait (breath the wine) after a sip, also she ask the reason for the wine Chinese nickname, I said I forgot and ask her to find online, however she cannot find at all, Haha! the waiter had good service all the time, perfectly finish up the meal during happy hour! 中秋難得有日假, 熱D燒烤又何妨!

中秋節正日, 返工成日就係等放工, 正當我一條友諗緊吾知放左工返屋企定去邊好嘅時候, 突然收到老友whatsapp話去玩返晚, 心諗: 吓!? 兩日前先燒完, 吾係呱! 又嚟!? 不過, 反正返屋企又無野做, 算啦! 嚟咪嚟! 問吓價錢, $200 任食, 唉! 都知乜料, 不過, 去到重點當然吾係食啦! 而係睇下有冇靚女嘛! 我第一時間check下谷歌地圖, 嘩! 原來都吾近西鐵(元朗) 站嘅, 我喺荃灣西過去兩個站心諗搭的士應該$100到ok啦! (因為我成日搭去美孚都係$50到, 可惜, 事與願違, 係要$185, 点解呢, 因為過條大欖隧道要收成$44, (sorry! 我第一次搭去新界西吾知訂!) 過左隧道, 我先知原來已經入左新界! (因為所有的士已經由紅色變左綠色!)      雖然無乜点塞車(係入去偉記燒烤樂園嗰條路塞左一陣), 但都用在成20分先到, 不過, 好彩我係直接搭的士嚟而吾係喺元朗站再轉綠的, 因為聽D friend講剩係喺站頭都等左成半個鐘! 入到去仲要排隊買飛, 都排左成3, 4個字, 好在我D friend 已經入左去先, 我就可以優先入場! 買完飛, 拎左支水, 燒烤义, 碟同食用义即刻打俾個friend, 話坐喺洗盤嗰邊, 過到去, 見D 友已經燒緊腸仔, 咁應該都係啱啱坐落姐! 同一大班friend嚟嘅好處, 係你由頭到尾都唔洗擔心無野燒, 因為實會有人去攞野食!     眼見枱上面已經有支highland park 12 再加埋我支3L紅酒 同2支白酒應該夠飲呱, 其實我之前已經問個friend 總共有幾多人, 以便安排酒水, 但佢遲遲都未覆, 好彩臨到尾佢終於覆左, 話剩係預備我哋幾個得, 其它人係佢D friend 嘅friend, 所以最後都覺得呢個量係應該夠飲嘅! 叫佢D friend嗱嗱聲攞兩個冰桶, 因為紅酒嘅最適合飲用温度其實係18度而吾係室溫, 白酒就更加吾洗講啦! 正當Chill緊之際, 我燒下雞亦, 順便睇下有冇靚女, 原來有兩個都okay, 不過已經名花有主, 後尾連我D friend D 女都嚟埋, 就更加吾洗諗啦!    我個friend係食神就係人都知, 所以佢邊度会滿足喺D任食嘅扒同腸吖! 就因為咁, 所以佢所有嘅野食, 都係自備, 包括有和牛, 珍寶德國腸, 仲有主角奄仔蟹! 睇下你点整先, 原來都係攞D銀紙包住燒姐! 好, 終於熟啦! 好心急想試! 我老友因為無蟹鉗, 係咁用個酒樽亨落隻蟹度, 真犀利! 嘩! D蟹膏多到流晒出嚟! 仲有D海水味, 跟本係乜野調味都無落! 但係都好鮮! 佢成晚做左我哋大廚, 基本上剩係攞隻碟出嚟就得! 期間, 個friend D friend 成晚就淨係掛住鋤啤, 有條女悶悶地攞左D冰皮(月餅)出嚟開心Share, 食飽飯食真係fit到漏!   酒過三巡, 我friend 問我, 你估我同你飲吾飲得晒D 酒? 就喺呢個時候, 有條友過嚟搭傘, 話想試下支highland park 12, 期間又同我friend 個friend 吹水, 雞硺吾斷, 我見無聊咪攞支雪茄出嚟食下囉! 哈! 又俾我friend見到, 即刻問我: 嘩! 有乜好野? 唉! 心諗我拎得出嚟預左請你哋食啦! cher完一碌再飲多杯, 差唔多到訂, 睇下隻錶原來已經差吾多12点, 好在個新界的士佬話今晚有通宵地鐵, 嗱嗱聲同D friend講拜拜出市區  The day of Mid Autumn festival, whole day during work was waiting for holiday, when I was thinking about where to go after work, suddenly receive a call from my friend: “Hey! lets go to this Wai Kee BBQ (Barbeque)”, “Are you sure!?” I thought, because I just had one 2 days ago and now again!? But then I thought what do you have to do when you back home, nothing! Well, its ok, let’s have a go, ask for the price first, HK$200 unlimited food, similar as before, should be no surprise for food, but the point when I was there is of course not about the food, it was about the chick! I immediately check for google map about the location, Wow! It’s quite far from the MTR (Yuen Long) station, I thought if I go from Tsuen Wan West, only 2 station, should only be HK$100 (because I always get MTR from Tsuen Wan to Mei Foo is only HK$50, but unfortunately, I was wrong, it cost me HK$185, you might ask why? And the reason is because the Tai Lam Tunnel will cost you HK$44 (Sorry, its my first time to go to New Territories West by taxi) after passing the tunnel I immediately know I’m already in New Territories (because every taxi color already change from Red to Green).          Although there is no traffic jam (only the entrance is a little bit), but still takes about 20mins to get in, however, I was lucky enough to get in directly by taxi but not wait for a taxi in Yuen Long MTR station, because I heard from my friend, only waiting in the Yuen Long station already took half an hour, after that still need to queue to buy a ticket in order to get in, which will take you 15-20mins, luckily my friend already get in and I had priority to get in compare with a lot of people, By the time I get in, I get a bottle of water, the BBQ fork, plate and eating fork, I immediately call my friend, where are you guys? They said they sit near the sink besides the toilet, when I arrive, they already grill the sausages, well, that should be a sign of just settled down, good thing about a group of friend is that from start to finish, you don’t need to worry about food, because there must be someone who will take care about it.    I saw there was already a bottle of Highland Park 12 on the table, in addition, there will be my 3L of red and 2 bottle of white, that should be enough, actually I already ask my friend how many people in total will come, so that I can organize with the drink, but he didn’t reply for so long, luckily at last he did and said just prepare for us (a few people) is fine, because the others were his friends of his, so I finally make a conclusion that this portion should be enough, I ask his friend quickly get 2 ice bucket, because the best temperature to serve red wine should be 18C, not room temperature, white wine of course don’t need to talk too much, we all know about it, when I was chilling the wine, I start to grill the chicken wing, at the same time, have a look at any pretty around, actually there were 2 okay, but they already had boyfriend, later when my friend’s girlfriend also arrive, no need to think about it.    Everybody know my friend is a food enthusiast, of course he will not satisfy with the free food provided there, for this reason, everything he eat there was brought by himself, including wagyu beef, jumbo German Sausage and the main dish Crab, lets see how you were gonna deal with it, he was actually using the foil paper to wrap the whole crab and grill it, finally after a while its cooked! Looking forward to try, because my friend didn’t have the crab shell opener, what he was gonna do was to use the wine bottle and hit the crab, until the shell was broken, brilliant idea! Wow! The crab cream is leaking from the inside! Also with the sea water taste, actually it didn’t need to season at all, but it still taste the freshness, the whole night he was cooking for us, the only thing that we need to do is to take out our plate, meanwhile, his friends of his were only concentrate on playing cards, one girl feel bored and take out the snowy mooncake and share with us, eating after dinner is perfectly fit!    After a few rounds of wine and spirits, my friend asks me: “Do you think we can finish the wine?” At the same time, there was a guy whom we didn’t know just came here to join our conversation, he said he would like to try the highland park 12, he was interested in chatting with my friend’s friend, I feel bored and took out a cigar, suddenly my friend saw it and ask me: “What good stuff you have?” By the time I took out, of course I already reserved one for you, after having one and a glass more, I was almost drunk, saw my watch was almost 12am, luckily the taxi driver told me today have overnight MTR, immediately say good bye to my friend and catch the MTR.…Read More

飯來張口免憂愁, 是常識吧!

嗰日啱啱有支新酒到, 當然第一時間揾D酒腳試下啦, 估吾到一呼百應, 超額認購, 老友話去返佢去開嘅私竇飯堂, 喺荃灣愉景新城嘅鳥山名, 佢話剩係免開瓶費都賺返喎! 話明係私竇, 當然唔會係食餐牌嗰D大眾口味啦! 而係食Omakase, 去到荃灣愉景新城, 間野都幾難揾, 即刻打俾老友, 佢話首先你要落到地下嗰層, 然後再要揾到間玩具反斗城, 因為佢係喺佢嘅側邊, 間餐廳嘅裝修其實好普通, 老實講其實同D連鎖日本料理相差無幾, 睇吾出係竟然會有Omakase去到D老友已經差吾多飲晒杯啤酒, 我嗱嗱聲攞D粗野出嚟招乎大家, 前菜好似食炸蝦米咁, 好正! 送酒一流! 跟住有D魚子同疑似發菜嘅物體, D 魚子係鮮味到連我第二日個口都有嗰陣除, 好堅! 跟住就係一輪壽司攻勢, 講真係新鮮到無話可說, 連出晒名腥嘅秋刀魚同池魚都唔係話好腥(雖然都有少少), D 飯又吾係話好多, 啱啱好, 仲要係整完由大廚親自攞出嚟! D飯暖暖哋, 軟棉棉, 又唔會話好酸(即落得太多醋), 享用期間, 幾位大廚不斷出嚟睇下我哋嘅反應同收集意見, 因為有幾款聽講係新菜式(揾我哋嚟做白老鼠), 咁當然係有讚無彈啦! 好多款壽司我哋都想安哥, 但大廚話有D部位吾夠材料, 夠就一定盡做! 好似魚下爬咁, 一條魚得一個下爬, 你話切得幾多舊吖! 好彩都嚟到個2nd round!期間我哋全程飲紅酒, 又pinot又shiraz, 一D問題都冇! (咁當然都有飲白同sake, 仲有硬野添!) 所以我成日都覺得嗰D所謂嘅食物配對係嘥氣! 純粹係俾D友清下D倉底貨, 食到尾升, 又燒物又鍋物, 你真係估唔到會食到牛腸, 同埋拉麵嗰舊厚切义燒會咁好食, 再嚟個和牛手卷, 嘩! 不得了! 要攞晒D架撐出嚟即場包! 我問點解呀!? 大廚話驚D 紫菜淋左吾脆, 咬唔開, 又話有一次因為個客嘅意見3晚瞓唔著, 你話今時今日咁有心嘅大廚去邊度揾吖!? 食到甜品, 酒店功架, 完全係高級餐飲享受, 完滿咁結束左今次嘅Omakase!                Have a new wine arriving on that day, of course the first thing I do is to call my friend to try, surprisingly more than expected shows their interest. Many of the sushi dishes, we want to try it again, but Head Chef said some of the parts of the fish is not enough, if there is then they must do! Like the fish chin, we had to ask ourselves how many pieces can it cut! We are lucky enough to have a second round     During that period, we all drinking red wine including shiraz and pinot, without any problem at all! (with that said of course we also drink white wine and sake, even spirits!) So, I always think that the so-called wine pairing with food is a waste of time! It’s only a chance for some to clear up their obsolete stock, almost at the end of the meal, there were some grilling and hot pot dishes, you will never think of eating cow intestine here and how good the taste is for a piece of ramen grilled pork, later Head Chef made a wagyu beef hand roll, Wow! Need to take out all the ingredient and made in front of us! Why!? 有朋友嘅朋友生日, 吾知邊個提議嚟九華徑燒烤場, 可能有人住西鐵沿線呱, Anyway, 未見官先打30大板, 盛惠$168 (好在吾洗加一), 包燒烤义, 碟, 食用义同任食雪櫃貨, 不過D野食吾該自己去雪櫃攞! 目測好多都應該雪左千年以上, 仲差過D大型連鎖凍肉超市! 野飲呢!? Sorry! 只包一罐330ml汽水或支莊500ml水, 藍妹竟然索價$30幾蚊支, 心諗咪仲貴過酒樓!? Anyway, 睇下佢有乜野食先! 答案當然係無什特別! 豬/牛/雞扒, 腸, 丸, 雞翼…, 一D稍為貴少少嘅多春魚或其它海產免問! 不過, 好處係你唔洗買, 唔洗拎, 嚟到仲有人幫你透埋爐囉! 不過, 心諗呢D都算燒野食!? 不如喺街邊吉幾串好過啦! 幾十蚊乜都搞掂晒! 而且雖然依家立左秋, 但係出面都成30幾度, 仲要對住個爐, 保守估計閒閒地都高過35度! 如果你話加多一舊有任飲啤酒又唔同! 講真, 你同我都知, D啤酒有幾貴吖!? 我只可以話,呢間野係懶人首選, 又喺正市區, 交通係無得輸! (雖然係咁, 仍然有人揸車嚟兼食左成疊牛肉乾! 咁又何苦呢!?)Due to my friend’s friend birthday, don’t know who suggest going to this Kau Wa Keng BBQ place, anyway, money first at the front door. Well, $168 please (luckily no 10% surcharge), including a BBQ frog, plate, a dinning flog and unlimited food supply. However, please help yourself to the fridge area. By eye checking, all the frozen food should be frozen for at least thousands of years, even worst than most of the huge chain frozen food market. What about the drink? You might ask, well, sorry! Only include a can of 330ml soft drink or a bottle of 500ml water, Blue Girl beer surprisingly cost $30+ per bottle, Wow! That is even more expensive than a normal Chinese restaurant! Anyway, let see what it got, of course the answer is unsurprisingly nothing special, pork chop/steak/chicken filet, sausage, fish/meat balls, chicken wings… you name it, some of the slightly expensive item like seafood, who cares frozen or not, don’t even think about it! But the advantage is that you don’t need to buy and someone will help making fire for you, but then you will ask yourself, what’s the point!? Is that barbeque!? Why not just buy at some snacks shop round the corner!? Should only cost you less than $50 and can fill you up nicely! Also, although now is already autumn, but the outdoor temperature is still over 30C, even worst, you need to sit near the fire for the whole night, my guess is at least 35C+ for sure, if you say adding $100 to have free flow beer, then that would be another story! To be honest, me and you know how much the beer cost!I can only say, this place is the 1st choice for lazy people, also, in the center of urban area in Kowloon, the transport is excellent! 嗰晚friend搭friend, 先有幸嚟到星級名廚李錦聯主理嘅嘉彩漁村, 平時喺都市閒情由細睇到佢大, 估吾到真人靚仔過上鏡, 一出車立佢已經喺門口歡迎我哋, 問佢可吾可以嚟個selfie, 佢諗都吾諗就應承, 再嚟多張, 全無架子! (雖然表情有D生硬, 不過人都会攰架, 同左咁多人影都仲肯同你影, 你仲想点!?入到席, 已經有甜美嘅歌聲招乎我哋, 坐左一陣(8点鬆D)好快已經有野食, 其間星級名廚李錦聯全程滿場飛, 又唱歌(估佢吾到又唱得兩嘴!), 又敬酒, 又影相, 搞到全場氣氛升温, 情緒高漲! 最勁係佢仲請到翻版劉華, 真係好聽過真劉華, 佢條添同佢一樣都咁落力, 一樣又敬酒, 又唱歌, 又影相, 劉華走左之後, 啦屎仲有多兩個靚女唱歌, 真係剩係聽歌都抵! 食到中段, D friend 已經急不及待打包, 心諗吾洗呀! 就算無人煮飯, 食快餐都好平姐! 是日中秋套餐每席送1L意大利紅酒1支, 3支大藍妹同8罐汽水, 其實咁多枱一定飲吾晒, 不過阿靚女經理, 食完甜品先開多3支大啤嚟! 吾緊要! 下次再同你飲過! 臨走, 星級名廚李錦聯仲要親自送客, 真係認真吾話得! 學葉Sir話齋: “呢一餐, 一定係我食過最稱心滿意嘅一餐!”頭盤:1)大蝦沙律, 足料, 夠碟頭, 味道不錯! 主菜:2)燒鵝, 皮脆肉嫩, 有肉味!3)大班兩味, 至緊要新鮮, 又有魚味!4)翅, 不過不失!5)蒸元貝, 至緊要新鮮, 又無蒸老!6)燒雞, 至緊要新鮮, 又有雞味!主食:7)荷葉飯, 好香, 不過已經食吾落! 8)再嚟過伊麵, 更加食吾落! 甜品:9)杏仁奶露, 好香杏仁同奶味, 正!That night my friend’s friend invites me to have a mid-autumn festival dinner in Celebrity Chef Mr. Ben Lee in charge Kai Choi Fishing Village. I have been watching him in TV since young, but when I saw him in real person, he looks younger and more handsome. I saw him when I first exit from the lift, of course the first thing I do is to ask for a selfie permission, he accept without thinking. One more please, I asked, he was okay (although his face looks a bit tired, but of course that would be the case if you are taking photo with hundreds of people during the day early on) At least, he still said yes for photos, what else do you want!?Inside the dining area, already have live band and singer welcoming us with songs. During the period, Celebrity Chef Mr. Ben Lee already running around through his restaurant. Surprisingly, he can sing like a pro, including cheers and taking photos with us. It makes the whole environment high and the crowd exciting. The most wonderful thing that he did that night is to invite the copy version of the famous singer Andy Lau, which I think sing better than the real one. His team is also very passionate to his customer like him, including singing, cheers and taking photos. After the copy version of Andy Lau left, there were still two pretty girl singing, which indeed sadly bring to the end of the night. That meal includes a 1L Italian red wine and 3 bottle of large Blue Girl beer and 8 can soft drink. Actually, it shouldn’t finish, course not everybody drinks, but the pretty Manager leave it until after finishing the desert. (We already had 3 bottles before, but we want to drink more during the meal), but no problem, will drink with you next time! When leaving, Celebrity Chef Mr. Ben Lee waiting for us at the front door to say goodbye.
