My wife and I walk around to see any new restaurant for lunch. Then we find Penang Toujours.The staff are very nice here and the beach declaration is relaxing. We ordered a jackfruit salad, nasi lemak, deep-fried squid rings and pandan kaya toast. The mask lemak and pandan kaya toast are especially delicious and it is a “must” to order. The chilli sauce is unexpectedly match with the rice and increase appetite. My wife and I just walk around on this Sunday to search for special restaurants to have lunch. 蝦麵店is located in an alley and nicely renovated, so we decided to try.We ordered two bowls of noodle with the signature spicy prawn soup base. My wife ordered the toppings with seafood and I ordered the toppings with sliced chicken. They put a lot of prawn and the taste of the soup is very strong, but not too spicy. We also ordered the fired chicken wings and satay chicken skewers. They are all properly cooked to the right level. The satay is exactly adjusted to the right favor. My wife and I heard the name “牛大人” for a long time. However, it is very popular and there is always a long queue. Finally, we get a chance to try it in this afternoon.We chose the highest rank of buffet which include the “和牛”. There are varieties of food to choose from. Not only different types of meat can be ordered, there are also Taiwan food included in the app. For vegatabeles and drink, there is a high corner that you can pick by yourself. My wife and I was walking around in Causeway Bay. We were not too hungry, but wanted to find a place to chill. Finally, we found NINETYs. NINETYs is cozy and quiet, which is a comfortable place to talk with friend. There is a big bar table and open kitchen in the middle and you can see the staff are professional. We ordered two burgers, one is the “Piggy Piggy” and one is the “Holy Crab Benedict”. Both of the the burgers are special fusion and mixed well. You cannot imagine these ingredients can be so match with each other. They use Hong Kong made whole wheat burger bun which are delicious and healthy. My wife loves to eat afternoon tea. We were shopping around in Kwun Tong and found Downtown. We ordered the afternoon tea set for two. The bottom plate are salty foods. The Parma ham and salmon are both in very good quality. The plate in the middle are tiramisu, muffins and cookies. I like the muffins a lot, especially they serve with their remarkable homemade strawberry gem and clotted cream. The plate on top are the panna cotta and mango mouse. Both of them are in the right level of sweet. We also ordered a matcha tiramisu and a baked Alaska. The baked Alaska is a “must try” ! It is soft and sweet. I will give it 10 out of 10. We want something spicy, so we tried 渝味曉宇。The decorations of the restaurant is in peaceful Chinese rurial style ans the restaurant is spacious. The staff are also polite. It is a good choice for friend gatherings. We ordered the spicy 重慶麻辣湯底. It first served a sweet soup to wake your appetite. I have been to Chengdu once and I can tell the hot pot soup is the traditional Chingqing style. The soup is sweating spicy and numbing, but does not stop you from eating. Shanghai Spot is a tasty take away we can barely find during the Covid-19 pandemic. We ordered a 招牌擔擔麵，招牌小籠包，滬點春卷，牛肉餅. We were afraid that take away will affect the taste, but turns out it is delicious. The noodle is al dente and the soup is not too spicy. The dumpling is traditional and the dumpling skin is thin. My wife and I seldom go to North Point. We find 牛牛日式火鍋 when we go shopping in the new shopping mall there.Gyu Gyu Shabu Shabu is a buffet hot pot restaurant. We ordered the set with 3 types of beef, one type of sheep and pork. The meat are served by the staff, while you can pick the vegetables and drinks by yourself. I chose the Japanese spicy soup, which is in the right level of spicy. The meat are fresh, especially the sheep and beef. There are also variety choice of vegetables. My wife wanted to have some Korean cuisine, so we went to Trim Sha Tsui and found 韓屋.We ordered a symgyetano, a beef soup and 2 dumplings. Both of the symgyetano and beef soup are cooked in Korean style and delicious. The dumplings are in extra large size and steam cooked properly. The dumpling skin is not too thin or too thick. It was a busy day and wanted to have a nice lunch. 辦館 which looks nice and cozy attracted me.辦館 is renovated in a new banner within the same area. The use of marble raised the class of the restaurant. There is a bar in 辦館, I may go to have happy hour some day after work.I order a set lunch of avocado cream risotto with shrimp top up with the garlic bread. The set lunch served with a cream soup, which is properly dressed with pepper. The risotto is cooked in a healthy way that not too heavy. Risotto are usually cooked too wet, but 辦館cooked it properly. It was Saturday. My wife and I looked for lunch in Trim Sha Tsui after shopping. 棋哥燒鵝looks delicious and we decided to have a try.We ordered a set for two. Although both the roast goose and steamed chicken are regular but they are big size in other restaurants. The chicken is cooked tenderly and the roast goose is exceptional. The goose skin is roasted to crispy, while the meat is still tender. You can taste the barbecue and wood taste. I have a date with my wife in Trim Sha Tsui and find 南瀛水產 for dinner as a perfect ending for our date. 南瀛水產is decorated in Japanese style and serve爈端燒as their signature. We ordered some seafood for 爈端燒，snacks, sashimi and two drinks. It is a good place for relax and chill out. First we have grilled ox tongue with garlic and soft shell crab salad for snacks before the main course. The ox tongue is soft and melt immediately at the second put in the mouth. The deep fried soft shell crab is also tasty.Then we have 1 set of sashimi and 1 set of sushi when the waitress help as to grill the crab, clam and abalone. The sashimi are fresh with three types of fish. The sushi set served with a 卷物，tuna and uni. The uni is sweet and fresh. The grilled crab, clam and abalone is then ready. I have brought lunch box for few weeks due to the outbreak of coronavirus. However, my wife is busy and cannot prepare the lunch box today and go out with my colleague for lunch. My colleague talked about 煲仔飯coincidently and we find 砂煲兄弟We ordered 2 snacks，2 煲仔飯and 2 special red bean ice. My colleague loves the toufu which is properly dressed with sauce, which I like the beef tripe which is spicy. They are just right to serve as appetizers.The 煲仔飯are as delicious as it looks. My wife and I do not eat outside for a while due the current coronavirus situation. However, we got something to do in Wan Chai and we met 竺扶大班燒味I think it is new opening of 竺扶大班燒味 because the renovation looks new and clean, which gives us extra confident to the restaurant in the current situation. The staff are also nice and alert their personal hygiene. We ordered a 燒鵝併燒腩仔飯 and a 黯然銷魂鴛鴦飯. They are both delicious. The source is special and different from what I used to taste in other restaurant. The roast pork is grilled to the right level and in the right amount of fat.
