It seems to be a very new shop, facing the main street of Cheung Sha Wan Road occupying less than half of a normal sized store. Spotted a few EN typo on their menu but struggled if to tell them or not.....AnywayOrdered Hot Taro Milk without sugar, the shop keeper said they don’t do sugar adjustment when they’re busy but since it was quiet at the time they were able to do so this time(I’d argue it’s best if they do ALL THE TIME, the sugar consumption of a normal HK diet is bad enough already..)Despite the “no sugar” option, the drink itself is already sweet enough, it’s slightly sweeter than normal full milk, guessing it’s from the pre-cooked sweetened taro purée, milk to purée ratio was fine, I’d hope for a bit more taro purée but also fine as it is. The taste of taro was obvious and natural With the drink it also has 2 kinds of mini taro balls, with a slight hint of sweetness and pleasantly chewy, with a natural mild scent of taro.Overall I’m pleasantly surprised, what’s most important to me was that the drink tastes natural, and not heavily sweetened. Volume was not as much as the Starbuck’s grande sizes like many other shops do(which is good), and for the price of $30, I’d say it’s a very nice little dessert drink after a long day.They say it’s a Winter special, so not sure when it’d be taken off the menu, for sure would like to have it again before the Winter ends!…Read More

went there in the afternoon, there was just a few customerswe took the centre table with tall chairsthe atmosphere is relaxing and funky, with american graphics and signs everywherewe are particularly astonished by the beautiful comic style menu and containers that used to serve foodordered a chicken & waffle combo, a burger, deep fried beetroot, deep fried cheese balls, an ice cream taco and banana nutella wafflethe burger..i have to say it is a bit disappointing, the beef patty isn't beefy, and cheese isn't cheesey really, it just doesn't strike you as "yum", it's a bite of disappointment..didn't take the picture of the chicken & waffle, the chicken is nicely deep fried, luckily, but I don't fancy eating sweet waffle with salty chicken, for me they doesn't seem to go togetherbut nonetheless they tastes fine separately, the waffle is soft and sweet, with a nice scent of egg, and the chicken is moist and tenderdeep fried cheese balls is goodhot and molten, with rich taste of milky salty cheese, it's a nice satisfying snackdeep fried beetroot is good too, the sweetness of the beetroot is retained, with a nice crisp at the outside, and a sense of healthiness, and I really like the colour of beetroot, absolutely likablethe banana nutella waffle is really..ordinary, can be a lot betterthe waffle is the soft kind, i prefer crispy ones but, it's fine this waybut the amount of nutella is too little to enhance or elevate this desert, as for the banana, they weren't at the best time to eat i guess, a bit too raw for the taste of banana to be strong to be delectabledidn't take picture of the ice cream taco either, and it wasn't as good as i have anticipated, it tastes like ordinary nestle ice cream cone, the vanilla ice cream tasted artificial, the taco was crispy but just not as good as i thoughtoverall, we were quite disappointed, may not visit again…Read More

have been watching a lot of Gordon Ramsay's show, for sure it's a natural thing to visit Breadstreet then finally got a chance to taste his foodmade an appointment online at 10, arrived early and we were arranged seats at the bar waiting our table to be readybut we had waited around 10 minutes more after 10, I was concerned seeing the staffs hardly have communication, ( and hard to have too, they were so busy rushing around and they dont have walkies )so I asked about the seat twice and finally we got a seat facing the bar and open kitchen the music was loud and filled with laughters and chatting, it is an energetic and lively environment, perfect for gathering but not for couples dating in facta lovely waitress brought us a bread basket along with the menuwhile waiting I noticed a bit of smudge on the wine glass, that is something that needs to be attent to, lucky I don't drinkthe bread was still very warmand delicious! the taste of the wheat(?) is really rich, the outside is crunchy and the inside is soft, yumwe ordered seared scallops for appetitizer, pork belly, rib burger and a glass of tomato juice the juice is rich with tomatoes, the sweetness and sourness is very balanced scallops is soft and fresh, but I am not very fond of the puree, to me it s a bit blendthe two mains arrived together which is really really a pleasing arrangement skin of the belly is crunchy, perhaps too much that it is a bit tough, but tasty the meat is soft, there is a brown sauce alongside, giving it the right saltiness and the apple sauce gives it a touch of delightful sourness, brighten the dish, my appetite and lessen the fattening feeling of the dishthe burger is yumbeef is tender, cheese is rich, the pickles gives yummy sourit's portion is definitely enough to fill 2 peoplefor the fat fries, first they are really "fat", haha , really thick and real potato-y, the salt sprinkled on it is excellent! perfect amount and really tasty, just the salt you can tell they are no ordinary boring saltI would love to try its dessert..such a pity we were too fullthe meal was delightful, but I am not a night-club person so I think I prefer visiting in the afternoon if there is next timebut it s worth visiting of course…Read More

happened to have some coupons, and I wasn't that hungry so just grabbed a salad and apple juice for lunchthe environment of this starbucks is definitely nice, comfy couches with natural lights pouring into the mall through glass ceiling, and also the people there were all peaceful and relaxed, no noises, no disturbance there was only one kind of salad that afternoon, chicken and green apple saladit has lasagna and meat ball penne too, they smell really nice, with a rather light portion and a rather pricy tag, costs you forty something, but I was not hungry enough to eat itthe salad was served by a bowl on a plate, which was quite inconvenient to take it as I was holding the apple juice by one hand, wallet and phone on the other and I have to hold the heavy plate at the same time. I did notice some wooden tray provided at the counter where coffee is served, which is separated with the food serving counter and I didn't have a spare hand to use the trayso it might be good to have a thought on changing the way food is served to customers, perhaps put it on the tray instead of giving directly for the salad, the chicken is chicken breast and it was moist and quite fresh, I was afraid that it would be dry but nothe apples was sweet enough the balance the bitterness of the vegetables, it also has some crumbs of bacon-like thing, I am not sure what it is but it enhance the taste of the salad, giving a nice smokey touch and saltinessas for the sauce, it was the right amount, wouldn't be too overwhelming the apple juice is fresh and light, the taste of the apple and sweetness of it was really well balanced, a rather good apple juice, nice choice starbucks but the price of them is quite high, $4x for tgeir salad and almost $20 for the juicewould recommend the food but price-wise, not as worth as it tastes.…Read More

arrived at the restaurant a few minutes past 6, already found a long line queuing outsideit was halfly seated, needn't tickets or numbers, just need to wait patiently outside and along the stairssince we arrived early, it took us around 45minutes to be seated, but we have to wait for our friend, so we waited longer as you will only be given an hour and half to eat.we were arranged to seat near the door, it was quite uncomfortable to feel like being stared and watched by people waiting outside. Most of the seats are of the same capacity, it is enough but too packed for 4 people, for 2, it will just be fine.we ordered a set for 3-4 people and 4 soft drinks, the blue moon and raspberries. The sides were up quick but the staffs, very apparently need much more training as they are very unfamiliar with the dishes and setting of the table, and, most disappointing you will find, the menu.the racks arrived very soon after ordering, there were totally 3 racks, but later it was clear that they were a mistake, the set for 3-4 people, as it claimed, is the portion of one single rack ONLY. That I really doubt if it can really feed 3 fully grown adult, let alone 4, and it costs you a good 6 hundred sth. We had to order 2 more dishes to fill our tummies, guess boys must have to order way more.More disappointment to come, only 2 of the 4 drinks we ordered arrived within reasonable time, the rest were missing throughout the meal. We enquired the staff, who should be of the highest position among the local staff there, he was, I must say, lack of common sense and understanding, it took him a good while to understand our simple request, and he was rushing and yelling all night long on simple tasks that should have been easily accomplished in any other newly opened local restaurant (trust me, I am an experienced waitress)and some staffs were just ...grind your gears, you can tell they are headless in what they were doing, some were apparently lazy, and have this i-dont-care attitude, came and place your cooked food right next to your raw meat and gone, and rearrange your table in a rude manner, some are so nervous that you can see their hands shaking when placing food on the table. haha I feel sorry for them and wanted to give them courage.after all the misunderstanding and really really terrible arrangements, the drinks finally arrived after almost an hour, and after we have finished our meal, just before we are about to get the bill, we discovered that one of the course, the beef sushi in the set was missing, glad that we took another look at the menu.the only good thing about this meal was the friend, humourous korean waiter, he served us the korean way, taught us to eat the meat in the right way, and chat with us.he served us for quite a long while, often came back to check on ushe suggested us to try their desserts but we were too full, I asked if they have a small portion of that dessert, he went on to check and later came back and literally gave us a small bowl of it, that's an encouraging courtesy of a newly opened foreign restaurant. and the dessert tastes really good too, it was a bowl of finely grained and compressed, milk flavoured ice with red bean and yellow bean powder, the red bean was too sweet for me but the rest is really delicious, but it feels more like Japanese than Korean. to food here, I know that it is famous for its quality of the meat and the egg ring, but neither of them showed me anything special. The eggs were just ordinary eggs with kimchi, and we ate it perhaps long after it s cooked, they were overdone to me.the meat was fine, not that brilliant, it was quite good to eat along with the sour sweet sauce, but that was it, I am more impressed by the sauce than the meat.the drinks was good, fresh and delicious, as well as the sides.the 2 more dishes we ordered were korean mixed rice and rice cake, both were good actually. the mixed rice was richly fragranted by jew's ears, I have never thought it could be so tasty, along with the spicy korean sauce, I would say it is the best mixed rice I have eaten in HKas for the rice cake, it was ordinarily good, average you may say, it goes with a variety of fish products like fish cake and fish ball, it is authentic I think.as for the environment, it obviously needs improvement (in hk standard) cuz it was really hot, insufficient air con. with the griller right in front of you, the smoke was handled quite well though, it wouldn't make you smell.overall, the service was terrible, staffs are all headless chicken except the korean servers, the food was ok, not that particularly good and the environment is..quite uncomfortable for summertime, and you will have to wait for an hour or more if you arrive later than..6:30 i think, the earlier the less time you will have to wait.if you really wanna try? go really early, if you are not that eager to eat it, I suggest you dont.…Read More

the original Christmas plan was disturbed and we came here very suddenlythe place isn't big with only a few table of diners around 7 sth, we didn't have to wait for tablesit was quiet and quite cozy, we can chat and slowly enjoy our time, though the tables were too close to each other, it s easy to overheard conversations and it 's chilling whenever the door is opened even just a bit :|the sofa was too high for the tables toowe ordered a monster pan with a large cup of orange juice and egg houssard, that's egg Benedict with small piece of "steak"monster pan jas the portion for two, 4 portions of everything, we had scrambled eggs, white toast, spiced apples, salad, fruits and grilled tomatoestoast was finecrispy and well buttered, the waitress also gave us a small jar of strawberry jam and it goes fine with it, ordinary quality I have to say.fruits included little chunks of different kinds of fruits: orange, pineapple, grape, melon and some others I can't quite remember, pineapple was fresh as well as others, fair I love fruits so it'd be better if the portion is largersalad was fair too, quite fresh, goes well with the sour sweet dressingspiced apples were a little too sweet for me, so we just ate a few and didn't finish itbacon was very crispy and the smokey flavour and saltiness of the bacon was strongit was well fried without over frying itsausage wasn't what we expected, they were in fact sausage patties, their taste were fine, flavourful but they were too dry, so dry that the patties could not hold together when slicing, they were the worst among the platetomatoe slices were hidden under the toasts, they were slightly grilled on one side, so the grilled side is fairly cooked and the other is still raw, no seasonings were added so they retain the freshness and taste of tomatoes, I am not a big fan of cooked tomatoes so I didn't eat much, it wasn't my taste but boyfriend likes themfor the eggs, they were the best nor the worst I' ve tasted, they didn't add anything extra to the eggs so they were plain scrambled eggs, the flavor of the yolk was strong, texture wasn't smooth, the small pinch of herbs didn't help much, very ordinary eggs that can be done easily at home actuallyorange juice tasted a little artificial, I was hoping for quality like Mr. Juice but no, that was worse I thinkegg houssardone egg was a bit broken when it arrived, the hollandaise sauce was quite good, first you taste sourness that enhance your appetite, then you taste the saltiness and richness along with the poached egg, the sauce can be smoother thoughthe so called steak was actually small bits of beef instead of one piece of meat, it was cooked well, not too chewy cuz the part of beef they are using can be very hard to chew when not cooked or prepared properly, the taste was fine, you can taste half the beef and half the seasoningsthe muffins weren't toasted so they were soft and with right level of moisture matched well with the steak and eggthey gave two little candy cane along with the bill, that was so sweet!! instantly feel lovedit was a peaceful dinner and I felt like Christmas Eve more than Christmas, the overall quality wasn't better than what you can do at home, but the egg Benedict was fine, that may get me back againAND, the place is cozy and somehow relaxing, that is the kind of place perfect to chill in…Read More

Thursday night 8 sth, there were quite a few people waiting outside, all seatings were full and we waited a few minutes to get a shared table.the shop is really small and crowded, after a while when there is a vacant tabe and no one was waiting outside, we changed seats and that feels a bit betterthe place was playing hard rock and hip hop and all sorts of energetic music, I felt alive and excitedwe ordered a double foie gras beef($218) and burger and cheese twister fries($40)waited for almost 30mins, well, the overall waiting time was almost the same as I saw many tables got there burgers long after I arrived. Perhaps the restaurant should think about how to speed things up, the food may be worth waiting but really not that pleasant for starving customers, like medouble foie gras beef burger $218finally, after waiting and chatting and waiting and starving, it arrivedthe burger is definitely tall, piled up so high that we couldn't eat with our hands, as we are not big hands westernerswe ate it with forks and knives, feeling classy, ha.the first thing that won me over was the beef, it is so juicy and moist and tender, the taste of beef was excellent, together with the melted cheese, it was awesomethe tomato slices were fresh and went well with the salad sauce, it alone with the toasted bread taste well toohowever, the foie gras was quite disappointing, well you eat everything together, you can barely taste the foie gras, in fact, you can't really taste it, not even its texture, it felt like it was there to give you something more to chew with it was soft but tasted raw, I would prefer it a bit more cooked, and the quality of it is perhaps not too good, as it has got many tenden like strings in it.I separated the foie gras to eat with only the covering bread, it is actually better to eat in this way, at least you can taste foie gras the sides, was some greens with some sour vinaigrette, it was a bit too oily to me, the oiliness brought down the freshness of the vinegar and the greens, it can be bettercheese twister fries $40after finishing the a bit flawed but absolutely delightful burger, we waited for the twister, we waited and waited, at last we had to remind the waitress of this dish, it seems that it was forgotten.after 3 mins or so, the freshly fried, hot and cheesy fries finally came to our tablewell, it was fair, not exceptionally good, just average standard, I think I prefer fries than twisters, twisters are usually to thin to let the taste of potato comes through, and the cheese just totally kills the potatoes.the beef is definitely a delight, we will visit again for sure to try other burgers, prehaps the lobster burger, I wonder if they can deliever lobster in a briliant waythe food was worth waiting but hope they can figure ways to shorten prep time, it was tormenting to customers with empty stomaches…Read More
