I have always enjoyed Fineprint, particularly their sourdough, which has kept me returning over the years. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me disappointed and concerned about the level of service.On a typhoon day, we brought our folded umbrella with us. During the meal, a staff member moved it to the corner of the umbrella stand and did not think much of it. When we went to retrieve it after dining, we found that it had been damaged— from longer umbrellas being stacked and pressing vertically into its joints due to its position in the rack.When we raised this with the staff, we expected at least some acknowledgment or a simple apology. Instead, the response was: “Okay, what do you want me to do?” The matter was treated as something to be discarded rather than addressed with sincerity or responsibility.We understand that an umbrella is a minor item and that accidents can occur. However, what left the strongest impression was not the damage itself but the dismissive attitude and lack of basic courtesy in handling the situation.
