You could always tell whether a restaurant has put in efforts by the bread they bring out first. The bread was soft and fluffy and the choice of their olive oil and vinegar is really good. We had the uni risotto, uni pasta, mushroom fettuccine, scallop with kale sauce pasta, and seafood pasta. All the pastas was surprisingly good. My friends recommended the pancake and she said it was really good. First cake pasta and it tasted really good. Meatballs were tender and not dry and the tomato base was also done to the right flavor. The waitress urged us to order the pancake while were eating the pasta saying it might take sometime. Came here from reading about it on a blog. There was a little line up but we’ve got our table prettysoon. Cafe with simple decoration of vintage looking. Say down and ordered two food. One was the soufflé pancake for sure and the other was ham and cheese waffle sandwich which was good. It we wanted to try the chicken waffle instead. Our pancakes came later and they warn it’s a 20 minute wait. But it is so worth the wait. It’s so fluffy, not too sugary, everything is balanced out well, it’s the best I had at hk so far.
