Wanted to try this new smash burger for a while, but when I heard it's by the same people from Butcher's club, I was a bit skeptical, as I never liked those big, greasy burgers from Butcher's club as they were too daunting. Seasoning and taste of the meat was good, but they didn't achieve on maximising the crust of the beef, which is the novelty you get from a smash burger. The cheese should also be more melty by cooking the beef with the cheese on the grill longer.Bun was also a bit meh, definitely not fresh. The fries also didn't seem fresh. Seemed like they single fried it once, put them aside, and then fried them again much later. Not worth the calories, first time I didn't finish the fries in a while. Decided to go to Fashion Walk today for lunch, and had the WORST experience ever. Me and my partner ordered the set lunch with 1 lime soda and 1 honey tea drink. So naturally, the drinks came first, as the server put down the first drink (I instantly froze, as to not cause an accident as I have been a victim before), she lifted the drink off her serving tray, which caused the remaining drink on the tray to topple. On its way down to the floor, THE ENTIRE DRINK was spilt on me: my Jacket, my neck, my pants AND MY SHOES (4000$ YEEZY 350v2 boosts mind you). I quickly yelled out a scream, but to the attention of deaf ears. I know there was broken glass on the floor, but I received not a sympathy, "How are you doing?" or even a towel or tissue to clean myself up. My partner had to be the first to ask them for tissues so I can mitigate the damage. I eventually had to go to the washroom and tidy up, and my entire body smelled like LIME soda. I don't know if the staff was afraid to take responsibility or anything, BUT the server who poured the drinks did not issue any sort of apology. Seemed like they just wanted to sweep it under rug. For such a well established chain, I am disappointed of the entire attitude the staff and the handling of this incident. There was no offer to pay for my dry cleaning or anything. This incident is extremely daunting, and will deter me to step afoot into ANY MAXIM establishment EVER again in my life.  I am still smelling of lime soda throughout today and at work. I met up with a friend who was new to the area, and we were looking for something easy to eat. She suddenly had a soup craving, and suggested this place. Being on the Keto diet for some time, I am quite selective about food some times, but this was perfect. It had 0 to low carb options, and also had low carb Shirataki noodles for people on KETO. Food was inexpensive and good value for money. While the service was good and place was nice and clean. Great place to go if you feel like something wholesome without scratching your brain much. No frills, no BS, just a quality burger. Double 2oz succulent patties, cheese, pickles, and special sauce. The double patty is seasoned and grilled to perfection without making the bread soggy. The buns are sourced locally and baked fresh with tons of butter. Special sauce with the hint of pickles is amazing while not too overwhelming. Overall, this is a perfectly built built burger with no gimmicks, just good ol' fashion flavourtown.
