最近又係睇報紙介紹,得悉觀塘有間雞蛋仔舖賣有餡雞蛋仔,於是同女友喺觀塘食完晚飯就行過嚟。嗰陣八點幾,除夕夜,門口圍住一堆人等緊攞雞蛋仔,有啲好似我哋咁慕名而嚟,有啲係街坊。冇排隊可言,買就行埋去同阿姐講,佢會叫你等至少十分鐘,比埋錢就企埋一二邊等佢整。原味十蚊有交易,要加餡就再加錢,芋泥要加$6,其餘有紅豆味、朱古力味等等。而短短三個字,最多人叫嘅係芋泥,其次就係原味。整嘅時候,阿姐先焗個空雞蛋仔殼,然後就打開個焗夾,搽入芋泥餡,搽滿晒,再冚埋個夾,喺個餅夾邊倒蛋漿再繼續焗,用蛋漿封晒條邊,以免焗完出嚟啲餡漏晒出嚟。雞蛋仔到手,即使用蛋漿封邊,啲芋泥餡都依然漏咗啲出嚟!食落好得意,除咗有雞蛋香味之外,第一啖食個餡冇味,啲芋頭味係一路食一路出,外殼脆卜卜,個餡熱辣辣有芋頭味,比起食開嘅「有味雞蛋仔」,有餡嘅餡味更加突出。臨走前,有個客叫個朱古力味,阿姐就逐粒逐粒朱古力放入每一格焗好嘅雞蛋仔殼,呢份心機嘢應該冇乜舖頭肯做,而呢間舖得三個雞蛋仔夾同埋咁多人等,都肯咁做法,令我哋更有藉口下次嚟試朱古力味!…Read More

聖誕大餐...... 重點在甜品

細細個過聖誕,屋企人偶爾會帶我嚟波士頓食返個鐵板餐,除咗好味,而且每枱都有份聖誕禮物。更加見識到班老伙記點樣打呢場仗!早一兩年前,同女友嚟食,班老伙記仍然寶刀未老,但當時已經混入新力軍取代。今年平安夜,波士頓啱啱裝修完成,於是叫埋女友個朋友一齊去食聖誕大餐。五點十去到,等位人潮已經企晒出行人路,再遲啲嚟後果可想而知。當晚九點幾再路經附近,仍然有唔少人等緊位,真係等得嚟都可以去食宵夜!同以前有啲唔同,包舖個位闊落咗,亦都換晒一班後生嘅員工。份聖誕禮物就門口派,小朋友先有,所以再冇每枱一份呢支歌仔唱。餐牌一目了然,個個嚟到實係食鐵板餐。不過女友同佢朋友想知「聖誕大餐」係乜嚟,所以我自願放棄鐵板餐,「犧牲小我」食聖誕大餐。等位其間,兩位女士走咗入包舖,因為鐵板餐冇甜品,經商議後買兩件餅上樓上食,作為甜品。等咗成粒鐘,終於有得入去坐。裝修後個環境一樣咁暗,啲枱凳都冇乜點重新排過,唯一分別係班老伙記一個不留,再冇班老伙記鬧返個客轉頭嘅「集體回憶」(其實嚟到真係食「集體回憶」多過食味道),第二代老闆亦親自落場指揮。落咗Order後,又要再等多幾個字先有得食餐湯連同餐包先上。喺波士頓,餐湯好難唔好飲,而個南瓜湯更加係全個「聖誕大餐」第二美味嘅食品(呢次中伏喇),個包就失咗水準,唔脆嘅!由於太多人叫鐵板餐,所以鐵板餐唔使等好耐就有得食。反而「聖誕大餐」等極都未有。:(一如以往,鐵板餐從冇教人失望,而且聖誕唔加價,難怪燒鐵板聲音此起彼落,旁邊做火焰牛柳更係一個接一個!呢度唔作特別介紹。聖誕大餐主菜等咗好耐先上枱,女友一見「頹」樣,已經安慰我。難怪嘅,塊扒太靭,除咗有汁味,就同食香口膠冇分別...... 咦!碟前菜呢?追吓啲伙記,碟沙律先嚟。呢碟沙律,老實講,撞晒味覺同視覺,一嚟只有甜味,完全食唔到火鴨胸味道,而且呢種水蜜桃甜味應該係甜品先出現,作為前菜個味道就Over咗,撈埋啲苦嘅火箭菜同沙律醋,可謂「百感交集」!餐飲變咗用嚟平衡返頭先嗰堆「聖誕大餐」。不過中咗兩次伏,聖誕特飲(伙記話係雞尾酒)都係可免則免。叫杯凍奶茶算數。甜品都冇乜期望。不過就係冇期望,所以呢碟榛子朱古力蛋糕仔先成為全個大餐最好食嘅嘢!件蛋糕入口即融,榛子同朱古力味道突出,應該同樓下包舖賣嘅一樣。亦因為呢件蛋糕咁出色,所以再叫伙記喺雪櫃拎埋剛才買嗰兩件蛋糕出嚟。一件係檸檬芝士撻(左),另一件係芒果蛋白蛋糕(右),兩件都係有餅底。件檸檬芝士撻,好creamy,檸檬味道啖啖滲出,微酸得嚟亦有芝士味道;另一件芒果蛋白蛋糕,就好似食Moose咁,同檸檬芝士撻啱啱相反,呢件蛋糕比較清淡輕盈,同芒果味道同樣突出,而且食晒都唔會覺得滯。而兩件蛋糕均有同樣特點,就係個餅底好脆口,一試就愛上。其實幫襯波士頓咁多年,從來都只係講鐵板餐,最多講埋個餐包,反而忽略咗佢個餅房,睇嚟要對呢間幾十年嘅老子號重新定位!尤其係佢個餅房,麵包、蛋糕、焗批一應俱全,而樓上餐廳又冇得直接同餅房落單,下次路過應該要試吓餅房嘅出品。…Read More

位於電影中心附近嘅肥波燒餅,成為戲前戲後醫肚嘅其中一個選擇。呢日睇完戲,因為我同女友都未食早餐,於是叫咗份雞肉炒烏冬套餐連一杯熱飲同一份大嘅肥波燒餅。不過爐頭同「肥波」都係得一個,燒餅亦製成需時,撞啱有幾枱客加埋外賣客,可以要等幾個字。心急人就要忍一忍。呢度嘅燒餅,或者係炒嘢,好處係落好多椰菜;食燒餅順手可以食菜,好似幾健康。而醬汁味道亦都調得算適中,唔會偏鹹或者鹹甜。而個炒烏冬,用埋燒餅個爐頭嚟炒,味道同平時酒樓食開嘅唔同,一時忘記係邊隻味道,但都係食得過嘅。剛才講到個燒餅「好似幾健康」,但其實個燒餅落咗好多沙律醬,係好味道但會食到好滯同好肥;同女友食晒成個,個感覺係好飽,不過唔係真飽肚。食完之後半個鐘,肚餓嘅感覺又再返轉頭。可能落少啲沙律醬,食呢個燒餅會比較實在。路過嘅話,叫一份燒餅,當佢係小食咁食都無妨。…Read More

考試季節,又係時候請假返學溫書。過往返城大,「食個快飯」從來都係去AC1 Canteen,越食越頹,暑假裝修後啲嘢食重縮晒水。後來女友介紹我去教職員宿舍露天餐廳,點知今個暑假執咗!(聽聞開返)跟住有同學指點咗我去AC2 Canteen食,美心旗下,係就係質素好過AC1,不過同PolyU新Can一模一樣,食咗好多年,食得多都會厭。直到寫食評前嘅星期六,朋友約我返城大,佢哋提議去AC3食......我以為聽錯係AC2,再問佢都話係AC3,又唔係Délifrance,咁即係邊間?原來AC3都有間Canteen,要搭Lift上七樓,除咗學生、舊生同教職員之外,應該冇乜人會知。呢間Canteen都係美心旗下,但係就行比較健康同埋全西式嘅路線,好似飯會揀糙米咁。價錢亦相對學生化,一個八吋大嘅薄餅都係講緊四五十蚊,而且質素唔差,又薄又脆唔太乾。趁呢日溫書,再次嚟到飯堂食晏。今次揀咗朋友推薦嘅「茶食」之一C2(見上面餐牌),煎蛋轉炒蛋,加多兩蚊飲橙汁。賣相唔係好吸引嗰隻,但係卅幾蚊有包有粉又有嘢飲,起碼合符「抵食」原則先。天寒地凍,個多士雖然幾厚,但係烤得啱啱好脆口,唔太燶,亦唔太硬。炒蛋方面,至少唔會炒到老晒或者太水,達到快餐基本要求,亦都冇落鹽所以唔會太鹹,食完成碟蛋亦都冇乜油,女士們應該幾鍾意。肉醬意粉,如果用AC2個標準嚟比較,呢碟意粉點都好過AC2嗰種醬、粉分離嘅感覺。呢碟肉醬意粉起碼意粉唔會太腍,肉醬又唔會太稀,呢個價錢咁嘅質素,又食得飽一個人都已經唔差。但老實,呢間餐廳主打焗飯同薄餅,而焗豬扒飯係拍得住大家樂,好過AC2好多嘅,有機會再講。…Read More

最近報紙推介此店嘅流心蛋糕,Forward比女友之後佢都一見鍾情,趁呢晚book咗晚飯不過有排都未夠鐘,但又開始肚餓嘅時間,特登嚟到呢到一嚐流心蛋糕。去到門口,已經有姐姐拉客宣傳。特意問流心蛋糕大小,姐姐指住櫥窗......都成六、七吋大,而且轉頭又去食正餐,有啲擔心會食完就飽,姐姐就話個蛋糕一個人都食得晒,而且堂食有折,就係咁樣講,我哋就入咗去。晚上七點幾,人流唔多,而且地方闊落,所以坐落都算舒服。店員同時推介芥末心太軟,睇餐牌相都幾吸引,但係要留肚所以拒絕。都等咗幾耐,終於見到真身,個樣幾似大陸一間叫「瑞可爺爺」嘅蛋糕,但人哋冇賣到$85一個咁貴。切開之後,蜜糖隨即流出,賣相已經教人唾涎三呎。食一啖落口,蜜糖味道香濃,然後就會食上癮,我一啖女友一啖,好快就清咗碟蛋糕。老實,佢賣$85嘅話,吸引力實會大減。既然開咗個頭,都唔爭在揀多樣唔會太飽嘅。餐牌上寫住「特色焗雪糕」,女友感到好奇,就問吓個店員定係老闆嘅哥仔。佢就介紹呢個甜品係法式焗製,外層係一層好薄嘅脆皮,中間一層蛋糕,再包住嚿雪糕一齊焗,多重口感。聽過後頗吸引,於是加單。又等咗一段時間......正如店員/老闆所講,鹹脆皮喺最外層,中間夾住蛋糕同雪糕一齊食,鹹甜外脆內軟再入面係凍雪糕縱橫交錯嘅多重口感,一小件確實唔係咁夠喉,但真係要留肚,不宜再食,只好留待下次再試。…Read More

遊走深水埗耀東街,好容易就會諗起排檔。上年打風前,幫襯過蘇記,當時開盡晒風扇都好熱,但係就好夠人情味。呢次就輪到蘇記對面嘅長發。行過去嗰陣,女友就問:「會唔會食到好貴?」我就咁答:「唔通深水埗食碗麵都要百零蚊落樓咩!」可能係接近六點食飯時間,蘇記的確冇咁多人幫襯,而且每枱客只靠麻雀枱橙照明,同燈火通明又開盡晒風扇嘅長發,食客一輪一輪咁接住嚟,真係天與地之比!又咁啱聽到啲材料陸續沽清,阿事頭婆就話聽日(星期日)唔開,所以呢日入少啲貨,唔知係咁啱定係好搵到唔做星期日嘞。班伙記事頭個個都係粗豪效率型,一二三就問我哋食乜,一二三就開晒爐頭煮麵食,總之就同蘇記種慢條斯理係兩個世界。其實入到嚟都諗唔到食乜,女友就叫我食豉油撈麵,拼個墨丸,佢食魚蛋根腩米,再加多碟腩汁菜芯。呢度聲稱魚蛋墨丸自制,魚蛋細細粒彈牙咁有魚味,而根腩又幾鬆化唔黐牙,整體都唔太差。撈麵嚟到,但係墨丸又未到喎,咁點搞呢?飲啖湯先囉唯有。點知一飲就上癮,鮮甜到停唔到口,飲完一啖又一啖……停一停先!試埋個得啲豉油嘅撈麵,冇樣嘅,但係點解早幾年連森美都要推介佢?撈完啲墨丸都係未到嘅,好樣啲啦,似豉油皇炒麵咁。等唔切食少少先。嘩~佢啲甜豉油真係唔知咩構造,齋撈都咁好味,啲麵身又夠乾爽,食到「索索聲」又係停唔到口。啲甜甜鹹鹹喺把口度夾埋,幾香口咁,唔怪得淨撈麵都咁夠膽賣。食咗大半先上埋碗墨丸,六粒大過魚丸多啲,浮晒上湯面(雖然冇影相),亦都係咁彈牙同咁夠墨魚丸味。而最後連墨丸碗湯都飲得七七八八。但係都唔係咁夠飽,而且食完之後成晚都好口渴。…Read More

「西貢有檔菠蘿油好好食喎」

星期六下晝,風和日麗冇嘢做。喺尖咀一間Cafe度諗吓有邊度去。忽發奇想,即興入西貢。入去做乜好?女友話佢阿媽嘅唔邊個朋友話,西貢有檔菠蘿油好好食喎,但係唔知係邊間。Search過之後,確認係呢間,就一二三即興搭車入西貢。雖然係星期六下晝,又好好天,但係西貢市集又唔係特別多人,啲人去晒呢?即使行到去門口,亦都唔見有人排隊,旁邊嘅帳篷茶座又有空位。雖然食完嘢冇耐,但係見到門口嘅葡撻奶撻、啱啱出爐嘅大大個菠蘿包,加埋一杯冰凍奶茶,忍唔住搵個位坐低。遊戲規則係單叫包或者單叫嘢飲就冇得堂食,其實又唔係肚餓,所以叫咗杯冰奶茶跟鮮奶撻,加多個菠蘿油,夾埋$41,快餐店形式出咗櫃枱買完拎嘢食。繼奇華Anytime十年前賣$22一個菠蘿包,大到成半塊面咁大嘅之後,呢日再一次見到咁大個菠蘿包,櫃枱一刀劏落個包度,駕輕就熟咁塞塊牛油入去,就挑起咗我個食慾。影完呢張相之後,先飲一啖奶味同茶味啱啱好嘅凍奶茶。我食奶撻女友食菠蘿油,但係女友食咗成分鐘都未食到塊牛油,而塊牛油喺影完相之後一分鐘內已經融得七七八八,牛油流到女友成隻手同咀角都係。雖然個奶撻酥皮唔漏又有啲奶味,暖暖哋咁,但係望住女友個食相,我恨不得即刻咬埋一份!佢終於都食到個牛油位,就話鹹咗啲;我就接力食埋嗰半,個包熱辣辣,食到成手都係牛油,個包皮又脆又甜,而個精髓都係融咗嘅牛油滲入個包入面,鹹鹹香香咁,再飲返啖凍奶茶,嗰刻真係當正自己high tea緊。即使啲冰再融,杯奶茶依然咁有味,成件事根本就係絕配!同真正high tea唔同嘅係,我哋食完成手都係牛油,所以之後走去咗買包濕紙巾。…Read More

冇嚟三角公廁一排,呢日經過幾乎改頭換面,有啲舖頭唔見咗,又有啲新進駐。經過呢間,門口通透企理,與左右兩旁嘅韓食店、拉麵店、水餃店等截然不同。雖然價錢計埋都要一嚿水落樓,但係女友想食意粉而附近得呢間最似樣,就同女友入咗去。入到店內坐低,點完餐之後望住塞緊車嘅街道,完全唔覺自己喺煩囂鬧市!亦都係因為呢隻窗同埋清幽冇壓迫嘅環境,真係對住呢隻窗都可以望成日。卅多度陽光猛烈,一杯冰涼飲品確實好消暑。一杯朱古力,除咗面頭忌廉較多似冰山之外(其實都係一杯凍朱),其濃度應該有六十度左右,所以會偏苦一啲,朱古力味道亦都會突出一啲。呢杯係特飲,正價$35,跟All Day Breakfast只須加多十蚊雞。星期六嘅餐牌,唔覺有set lunch,只好退而求其次揭開主食餐牌。普通嘅主食唔跟飲品,但跟湯或沙律就只需加多十蚊。於是就叫咗碗湯。忌廉同磨菇味道都好濃郁好香滑。可能我哋係全日第一個叫湯嘅客人,所以啖湯都夠晒濃味。碟意粉嘅好味之處唔在於海鮮,而係啲蕃茄,意粉嘅色水吸引到我,即使啲三文魚或者其它配料幾咁新鮮都好!而事實亦都係,啲鮮茄味道入晒落意粉裏面,食落啖啖都係鮮甜蕃茄味道,因此碟意粉好難唔好味。呢碟All Day Breakfast真係要介紹吓。日光日白食西餐牛扒(唔係茶記或者快餐牛扒)當早餐或午餐,都係第一次。價錢亦都係All Day Breakfast之中最貴嘅($98),但係唔代表係最好味。沙律撈芝麻醬,唔會差得去邊嘅。牛角包都焗得鬆化,一層層見得到嘅,少少油膩。煎蛋其實可以轉炒蛋,今次呢隻煎雙蛋就好似熟咗啲,蛋黃篤穿咗之後都唔流出嚟,實的的嘅,蛋白就夠晒滑。至於塊牛扒,抱歉,真係韌咗啲,好難先切得開同咬得到,好實,但係塊扒又唔係乾喎,啲肉汁都幾香幾夠味道,用嚟點牛角包或者點返塊牛扒都好夠肉味。至於係煎得老得滯定係選料問題,就由其他食家去發掘。食完之後,我同女友都不約而同地講,唔想走,因為個環境夠晒好hea。…Read More

好耐之前嘅一晚經過附近搵食,發現成條五光十色嘅吳松街入面,呢一間特別光猛,於是同女友貢埋去睇睇。原來係間平民韓食店,除咗佢個餐牌,就係比佢嘅大光燈吸引住,念念不忘。某晚放工,終於有機會一嘗。到達時雖然係八點半,但係間舖冇乜食客,或者個個都好遲先放工都唔定啦,啲食客都係我哋入座之後先陸續嚟到嘅。環境其實唔差,光猛又闊落,冇迫夾感,而且每枱一壼水可以自己Refill,唔使勞煩人斟水。只係偶爾有隻小烏蠅趕極都唔走,有些少影響食慾。點好菜後,先嚟兩碟開胃小食-泡菜同醃蘿蔔。有如其他人所言,醃蘿蔔稍勝,比較爽甜;反而泡菜,女友食完第一啖之後縐一吓眉頭,話唔夠辣;我食一啖,都辣,但係酸到盲公都開眼!泡菜炒豬肉飯,雖然碟小食比較弱啲,但仍然期待泡菜撈飯多過豬肉。果然不出所料,呢碟泡菜味道調校得比小食嘅好好多,酸、甜、辣度啱啱好。然而泡菜味道濃郁,撈乜食都會蓋過晒其它食物本身嘅味道,因此我係食唔出炒豬肉嘅味道,而腦海亦都只記住泡菜爽脆酸甜味道。韓式炸醬麵,相片係撈完炸醬之後影嘅,點解?同中式炸醬唔同,未撈之前係一碟碎豬紅一嚿嚿咁淋上上面嘅麵,黑色一碟咁,影完都唔知自己影乜。撈完之後仍見到一嚿嚿豬紅咁,而且偏濕。味道會偏甜,好似豉油皇粗炒咁,唔係話唔好食,但係各有各口味,同埋唔比「炸醬」呢兩隻字誤導咗,當係一種全新麵食嘅話,會係另一種感受都唔定。喺泡菜餅同海鮮煎餅之間決擇,店員建議我哋揀海鮮煎餅。上枱時,碟煎餅好香,煎得嚟好脆口,好快就食晒。但有兩嘢味道唔多覺,一樣就係海鮮味,應該就冇蝦同蟹,因為女友唔食得,件餅又唔見有;另一樣係件餅本身都係得個香口味,如果唔點佢跟嚟嘅甜醬汁一齊食,其實同煎蛋餅冇乜分別。或者應該跟隔離枱咁叫碗石頭鍋飯,上枱時「sasa」聲,香到連隔離枱都聞到。但至少今次食呢幾碟都算係韓食新體驗嚟,可以再試。…Read More

夜晚九點去油麻地睇戲,上嚟Search到呢間個名寧舍特別,而且又有芝士又多蔬菜食幾吸引,連女友都被相片吸引,所以好快就扑鎚。跟住再望資料,寫住「敬請預約」,冇得walk-in,原來係西式私房菜嚟。預約方式亦都好特別,要用Whatsapp,雖然book嗰陣都五點幾,都本住「博一博」嘅心態睇吓有冇人覆啦……兩個字之後就有回覆,而且重問埋我哋嘅Budget同喜好,令我哋好期待呢一餐。不過最早都要七點半先開就Feel到會食得幾急。準時上到去,個土耳其大廚兼老闆啱啱開檔,老闆重好執着咁set緊background music,而且單位細細,一張大枱三張細枱,有啲失望。不過老闆Ready好晒熄咗燈之後,成個場嘅感覺完全唔同晒,完全忘記平日生活緊張嘅感覺,真正可以享受一餐,完全唔知老闆會煮啲乜出嚟比我哋食嘅土耳其餐。頭盤係老闆喺Whatsapp話會送沙律。洋蔥青瓜椰菜絲,即使怕有口氣都要試試,因為生洋蔥嘅清新味道,幾令人增加食慾。之後就係呢碟菜,初頭冇睇餐牌唔知乞頭乜路,食落乜菜都係酸嘅,用嚟醒胃確係一流,但當食椰菜花同蘿蔔都係酸嘅時候,呢碟菜就真係吸引力大減。後嚟睇餐牌先知呢碟係叫土耳其鮮檸檬汁泡菜。只可以話唔係我杯茶。開始有啲肉食吓,係一串串串燒,初頭睇落以為係牛同雞,因為羊肉落咗香草之後辟晒羶味。雖然未到juicy起碼唔係燒到變肉乾咁,肉滑又易咬,唔使點蕃茄醬都已經夠晒入味。一堆炸芝士,本來炸到金黃香脆有芝士味就已經完成,而呢碟炸乳酪芝士就多咗一重味道,就係芫茜味。雖然整體係好溜,但係呢啲芫茜味嘅香草可以減輕溜嘅感覺。又香口,又有芝士味道,又有芫茜味道,都幾難可以用一種似曾相識食物可以形容到。食到八點九差唔多夠鐘要閃,忍唔到問老闆重有幾多碟嚟緊,佢話重有一碟,就係有薯仔(薯條啦)又有茄子,撈咗一堆醬咁,睇嚟普普通通。原來都幾精彩,要形容佢嘅話,最接近嘅就係食鐵板扒嘅薯菜,撈埋啲醬嚟食,雖然好飽但都食到停唔到口。同時再上埋呢個飯後飲品,粉紅色冰凍嘅玫瑰花茶,不過都幾甜吓,女友就接受唔到咁甜,我就反而當佢係糖水咁飲,有玫瑰花香。最後埋完單,老闆叫我哋等多一陣,佢就係個廚房切啲嘢,估係甜品之類啦。佢話係唔知乜嘢嘅土耳其甜品,餐牌搵唔到,睇落酥皮嘢幾溜吓。女友食過話幾好味,我咬落要都幾實幾硬吓,而種甜味係甜到溜,似係Supermarket買牛油酥嗰陣同溜,但係唔知係咩餡,所以對佢冇乜興趣。咁食法都食到九點幾,唔係趕時間,真係可以hea到佢收工。總括嚟講,呢間餐最啱用嚟hea住食,無論係上菜速度定係環境氣氛,抑或係貼身情度(我哋話偏向食菜,佢就除咗串燒,其餘幾乎全齋宴)同食物質素,都係好值得推介。唔好嘅係,你唔會知你食嘅嘢值幾錢,同埋唔睇餐牌嘅話全程就食到估估吓咁。…Read More

女友介紹我嚟呢度買件cake返去做母親節禮物,於是就兜去睇睇。去到見到每件蛋糕比想像中細好多,細過Tony Wong嗰啲,但價錢又唔平,平均每件要四十蚊以上。心諗值唔值......呢刻店員見我企咗喺度睇,就開始介紹啲cake。我見呢度都有人讚焦糖芝士蛋糕,就買件返去;擺喺Chesse Cake隔離咁啱賣剩一件Tiramisu,心諗大路嘢個個啱食,就買多一件。店員迅即將蛋糕入盒,送埋隻木羮木叉嚟塞入盒頂。原本都冇乜問題,但係一出到街,突然落大雨,呢個唔防水嘅紙盒連食具就變得好難拎。呢個cake等咗兩個鐘後先食,兩個蛋糕就咁睇都冇乜點溶。先食個焦糖芝士,左邊嗰件,係冇乜焦糖味,少少芝士味咁,反而嗰粒朱古力就好好味,真係吹漲!而食落口嗰刻,成口cream,好似溶溶哋咁,係佢隻蛋糕本身係咁,定係原本會係實啲嘅質感呢?無從稽考嘞!亦都好好彩係四個人分一件蛋糕,每人食得一啖,因為食一啖已經幾溜幾滯吓。再試埋右手邊件Tiramisu,食第一啖已經係好濃郁嘅酒味;家母食第一啖反而係好濃嘅咖啡味,再食落去先食到係櫻桃酒嘅味道,食落比較輕盈而又唔溜,食到尾重見到可能係櫻桃酒嘅水,令到呢件Tiramisu反而成為意料之外嘅好味!總體嚟講,佢係好味,但未值呢個價錢。…Read More

同女友喺尖咀行完街食飯,女友問我食乜,我就話想飲湯。佢又好嘢喎,save低咗呢間話想去呢間嘢食好耐,咁啱喺尖咀,就行過去。不過去到就未有位,伙記就叫我哋出去走廊等吓……冇派飛,全靠認樣,其間有人嚟到等位,又係比佢叫出去走廊等,跟住就佢有佢哋忙,個感覺好唔可靠。最後等咗半個鐘,個伙記就安排我哋搭枱坐。入到去個環境都幾迫夾吓,好似大排檔咁,冇乜意欲想坐耐啲。個餐牌就要考吓功夫去睇,因為套餐好似抵啲,但又冇嘢啱食;但係散叫只係費少少,不過點叫都得。睇咗一大輪先決定到落單。跟住就要考耐力,因為間嘢得一間廚房仔,等碗湯要三個字,等小菜就更加慢,睇住啲料喺個廚房排住隊咁炒,對肚餓嘅我哋真係一種挑戰!先嚟兩碗湯。想試多啲湯水,所以我叫咗蟲草花淮杞雞湯。飲一啖,有啲雞湯味,同屋企煲雞湯差唔多,係嚿烋湯瘦肉唔係鞋口,幾好味咁。但當我試埋女友碗龜苓湯之後,我情願叫多碗龜苓湯。因為碗湯幾鮮甜回甘,少少似龜苓膏味道但係鮮甜好多,只係覺得$50一碗好似貴咗啲。再等就係隻豉油雞。隻雞都幾嫰滑,即使食雞胸肉都唔會鞋口,而且啲玫瑰露豉油滲晒入啲肉度,咬入口啖啖豉油甜,最好就係豉油撈飯。不過啲雞油一樣唔少,所以女友都勸我唔好撈咁多。最後上埋呢碟茄子魚腩煲,真係等到頸都長。呢個煲嘅優點就係夠香,尤其係件魚腩好香口;缺點係油到影相都見到,同埋鹹過頭,餸飯都餸唔掂。所以好辛苦先清晒兩碟咁油膩嘅嘢,好話唔好聽,屋企食飯都唔會落咁多油!可能得兩個人食呢啲上樓檔唔係咁過癮,唔會落blacklist,但係唔會有種短期內再嚟食過嘅衝動。…Read More

當日下午,女友forward一個blog比我睇,講到一間座落喺西九龍中心嘅小食店。文章係咁形容:「在此我得強調,小店賣的不是甚麼驚世美食,純日式家庭風,勝在口味正宗。」有啲吸引,再睇埋落去:「純鄙人猜測,多半是小夫妻在港想搞些小生意,被無良之士「昆」去這個「地茂」商場;異鄉人在港生活不易為,純粹是希望能幫他們一把,在這小部落格宣傳一下。」係咪真係咁折墮?又值唔值得支持吓呢?呢一大堆疑團,推動到我同女友要去「會一會佢」。去嘅時候已經係下晝四五點,女友未食晏,特別肚餓。搵咗幾搵,終於搵到呢檔唔起眼嘅小店。但係原先間「浪漫滿屋」呢?好似都係個位喎,女友都未食過就已經執咗,有啲可惜。坐底咗之後望入去,見到只有一個男人踎喺地下整緊嘢,相信佢就係「事頭」,而「事頭婆」就唔喺度。我哋望咗幾望個中日夾雜嘅餐牌,就決定點一份牛肉烏冬餐(我食)同一份吉列豬扒烏冬,另外blogger極力推介嘅十蚊三件炸雞,覺得唔夠喉,所以叫廿蚊四件嘅南蠻炸雞。堆到櫃枱,「事頭」就以唔鹹唔淡嘅廣東話幫我落單同覆核一次我嘅落單,係feel到日本人嘅認真一面。比咗個牌仔我哋,講明要等廿分鐘,我哋一路傾住偈一路望住佢整,其間聽到又切又拍又炸咁,乜聲都有,一個期待會出啲咩比我哋食嘅心態就浮咗上面。答案揭盅一半。冇人會諗到喺呢啲地踎商場會食到啲港式包裝,日式風味嘅日本菜囉。只係佢個嘅綠茶包,暫時未見過香港有,知道會有啲臥虎藏龍feel。另一半呢?炸雞未炸,比住一半我哋食先,所以一路食一路聽到斬嘢聲咁油鑊聲。先嚟個牛肉烏冬,牛肉其實唔太大特別,吉野家實好食過佢,但家庭式煮法,佢都算易咬得開,而且又有少少牛肉味。重點落咗喺碗湯度,係啲鮮甜湯底,落咗幾粒冬菇吊吓味咁,嗰種鮮甜到好似飲麵豉湯咁嘅味道,而唔係清到水鬼尿或者鹹到落味精咁。唔係個發泡膠兜,真係唔覺自己喺food court食緊烏冬。再講,出面街加十幾蚊比咗「半熟蛋」,真係一半烚熟同一半生,好呃秤;而呢隻蛋真係外面熟裏面生,篤穿佢做蛋花湯咁飲,一啲都唔欺場,而且飲湯嗰陣重多咗一重食蛋花嘅口感出嚟,都係賣$35連嘢飲,你話有冇搞錯!吉列豬扒烏冬係女友點嘅。豬扒同烏冬分開載,豬扒下低用洋蔥墊底,睇落對辦。咬落去實係不得了,外脆內軟,而且唔係炸到乾晒水,依然好Juicy好鬆化,而唔係實的的好似咬極都咬唔開咁。外面沾咗層蛋,食落食有埋蛋香。呢件豬扒喺箱根食,¥1000;喺丼丼屋食堂食,$50走唔甩;喺呢度食,廿幾卅蚊咋,重要大家同level咁計喎。我開始明白個blogger點解會話店主比人「昆」咗嚟呢度。但反而覺得佢哋小本生意,資金唔多,呢度租金又平,作為佢哋嘅「試金石」就啱啱好。只係欠缺宣傳,實在要靠口碑推廣。等炸雞其間觀察,唔多人幫襯呢檔,尤其係深水埗多以老街坊打躉為主。我哋之後,有對後生情侶買咗份炸雞,同埋有個日本家庭應該同店主好熟落,推住BB車都要去同店主吹水。唔係有呢檔,西九龍中心真係搵個日本人行街都冇。呢份南蠻炸雞作結尾可以話係為成件事畫上一個完美嘅句號。廿蚊,苛求啲咩?即炸,雞蛋醬,炸到咁Juicy,脆卜卜,雞肉又夠嫰,又夠香,味道啱啱好咁鮮甜味,好味到一人食晒四件都得。己經係非筆墨所形容,要親自去食先知!我哋有諗過南蠻炸雞好味,要唔要試埋普通炸雞,不過小吃多滋味,最後都冇咁做。而且得「事頭」一個做,一等又廿分鐘就免啦,所以留返下次先食。呢間小店,炸嘢做得特別出色,相信憑住口碑,可以創出一返新景象,衝出food court。…Read More

女友聖誕Party抽中獎,呢餐佢請!不過呢幾日腸胃唔多好,所以我唯一要求就係食菜。結果佢喺灣仔搵到呢間。門口入Lift啱啱有兩個外國遊客都去食,入到去又望到另一枱遊客,睇嚟呢間嘢幾受遊客歡迎。不過初初我都唔知呢間嘢咩來頭,入到門口先知呢間係社企,而且招乎我哋嘅都係社會上被忽略嘅一群,都係落單嗰陣我哋先知。餐牌方面,好多食肆都做唔到,亦都唔知點解唔肯做,就係幾乎每一碟餸都有相睇,而且中英對照,唔怪得外國遊客都要嚟食。另外,我亦都好欣賞佢改嘅名,一定唔係啲咩豬牛羊魚咁嘅假名,而係佢係乜就叫乜,從來食齌食唔係要齌口齋心咩?間舖賣嘅係好嘢,唔使改名都一定會有人點嚟食。就算係呢似豬牛羊嘅嘢,佢都會改個我都估唔到係乜嘅名,食咗你話似乜就似乜。左揀右揀,又望到隔離枱啲餸咁大碟,決定叫住三碟先。佢哋出菜嘅速度真係好快,叫完唔使幾分鐘即上菜。先嚟雙拼餃。呢度好多人推介流沙餃,所以就四隻流沙四隻梅菜。梅菜餃方面,我係食唔出梅菜味,食完之後亦都食唔到梅菜嘅卜卜脆,所以唔推介;流沙餃呢,因為唔知咩餡,所以咬咗一啖都要估吓……原來係蕃茄餃,鮮茄味有,不過同「餃」呢個字唔夠夾,我鍾意食啲挺身嘅餃,呢隻扁嘢就麻麻哋,食完得陣風咁。再食多一隻,原來係有薯仔嘅,即係「是日靚湯」嘅蕃茄薯仔湯做餡,但係食落都唔似餃嘅,麻麻哋。再嚟係蟲草花紫薯浸時蔬。其實呢碟真係啱晒啲食清淡嘅人,因為紫薯本身有甜味,但係其它就係冇味嘅,咁紫薯嘅味道就唔會比任何嘢蓋過晒。紫薯亦都幾夠粉,入口即融。不過呢晚我想食多啲味道,所以好唔好味就由其人食家評價。至於嚟緊呢碟,真係撞手神點出嚟。呢碟叫「欖頭欖髻」,喺餐牌度放喺最尾嗰幾頁,原本都冇揭到咁後,一揭到女友同我望到張相,就篤定要呢碟。第一眼望到成碟蜜汁叉燒咁囉!就連個味道、色澤、甚至乎咬口食感全部都係叉燒。我同女友完全估唔到佢係用咩嚟做,極度神秘,而且係食到停唔到口。可惜冇叫碗白飯,唔係肯定好滿足!呢碟嘢一定要推介!點知三碟嘢食完,都意猶未盡(即係未飽啦),咁啱見隔離枱叫咗碟脆味卷好吸引,女友又想食合桃露,就加呢兩單。炸到脆一脆嘅麵包,加上裏面嘅燈籠椒個餡,每一啖都咁脆卜卜。配埋碟邊嘅芥醬一齊食,香脆芥味撈埋一齊,又有啲燈籠椒味喎,而個賣相又咁吸引,由其係啲芥醬唧到唔似芥醬咁,唔怪得咁多好評。食晒之後侍應幫我哋收枱,亦都主動問我哋係咪有叫甜品,服務已經好過好多食肆。作為結尾,呢盅合桃露睇落細細碗,其實兩個人食都食到好多羮。呢碗嘢雖然唔係好杰,但食得出一粒粒合桃喺口腔,每一啖都有,每一啖都係合桃味,確實滿足。不過唔經唔覺,原來咁樣食法都食咗成三舊水,都咪話唔貴。但的確高水準出品,有機會再嚟。…Read More

這麵包店曾經風靡一時,質素之高早已聽聞,奈何無緣一試。這晚九點多經過太子,旁邊當紅的麵包店早已打烊抹櫃,這麵包店雖然人流不及當年,但仍繼續營業至十點,而且仍見有包點從廚房捧出。走進這間店,款式之多、賣相吸引的確令我無從選擇!所以選擇了這個……十八大元,有點貴,但有點重量。第二朝把這個小雪山翻熱後才吃,確實有別於吃麵包,正確點,我像吃一個實心蛋糕似的,外表脆,內裏軟,甜得像蜜糖;更貼切的形容是像吃屋邨餅店的雞蛋糕,不是雪芳蛋糕那般軟綿綿,有點實,總之就是一試難忘了。這十八大元值得花,因為買的是這位麵包師父的真功夫!…Read More
