My friend highly recommended this ice-cream to us, so she took my kids to go there!!!  First of all, the apperance of the ice-cream cone was fancy and elegant.  That's what I was expecting from an expensive ice-cream cone!  Before I forget to mention the price, it costs $45.  Second, once I took it from the Godiva girl, it was a very heavy cone indeed!  not the cone itself was heavy, it was the ice-cream was filled all the way from the bottom.  So, we could enjoy the ice-cream all the way to the end of the cone.  Wow!  Now, this amount of the ice-cream totally worth more than $45.  Third, the taste was amazingly rich, thick, and creamy.  The dark chocolate favor was just way up to the top (in a good way).  This ice-cream cones definitely sent us to chocolate heaven while we were eating them.   Now, we can't go back to the $10 ice-cream cone anymore!!!!  …Read More

All of the suddent wanted to have a piece of nice steak, but didn't want to go too far from home.  We found Boston 1 on Openrice and decided to give it a try!  We just ordered The Grilled Canadian T-bone Steak 20 oz (for 2 people) $495 and added one serving of the dinner set $68.  That's it!!!!!  First came the bread basket which had two pieces of garlic bread and a sun-dried tomato roll. I asked the waiter if the bread were homemade, he said "No!". Well... at least he was honest!!! The bread was store-bought one so it tasted like the store-bought bread! What can I say more!!!!Then came the cream of cauliflower soup, green salad and two pieces of salami toasts! The soup was wonderful. It was creamy and had strong cauliflower flavor. It also had a little bit of the crispy bacon bits, so the bacon added a little salty bit in the soup. Nice balance with the cauliflower taste!The green salad was just normal fresh greens with a little bit of the vinegar-olive oil dressing.  Nothing too special about that.  At least the greens are fresh and crispy! Ok! The main course was here finally!  We ordered a medium rare cooked T-bone.  It was a pretty good size steak.  Good!  coz the meun said that the steak was 20oz. It did look like a 20oz steak!   It came with half baked tomato with cheesy topping, french green beans, four thick-cut potato fingers, and a little bit of the gravy by the side.  All of them were not too special.  The green beans were perfectly cooked, crispy and sweet!  The potato fingers were a little bit under cooked.  even though they looked appetizing, but they didn't taste that good!  Also, they should put a little bit salt to season the potato!  Talk about the steak,  it was juicy and tender.  It was cooked just what we wanted, medium rare.  The beef flavor was not too strong though, so it was just ok. Onec a year birthday buffet time is here again! My husband picked Cafe Kool for me this year.  Seafood and Sushi:  super fresh and lots of choices.  The lobster claws were the best.  Very meaty and soft in texture.  The blue mussels were sweet!  There was only a little disappointment fron the clams, there were some sand in the clams.  I had to spit the first clam out and I tried the second one and I had to do the same thing.  So I gave up on the clams.   The sashimi was great too.  Thick-cut salmon sashimi was the best!  There were a few sushi choices, e.g. cooked shrimp, egg, salmon, etc.  Salad Bar: I have the cheeses and parma ham with cantalop slices.  There was a wild mushroom salad in a jar.  This was pretty fancy and cute!  Tasted alright!  Many fresh greens and vegetables to choose from and pick your favorite dressing to make the perfect salad you want.  I love salad bar!Pasta Bar: you must try the pasta bar!!!!  The homemade pasta was devine.  The tomato sauce and cream sauce were tasty.  There were salmon, shrimp, seafood mixture, ham, and mushroom to choose from.  Also, there were a few more things you can put in your pasta after being cooking, e.g. Pasto, tomato oil, olive paste, etc.  The chef cooked the pasta perfectly al dente.  The quality of the pasta dish was just like eating at an up scale Italian restaurant.  Worth the price!Hot Dishes: there were Chinese dishes, Western dishes, Southeast Asia dishes and Indian dishes.  we didn't try them all because we rather had the seafood.  But they all looked yummy!  The choices were more than what we had in the other lunch buffet before.  BBQ section:  grilled beef, grilled fish, sauguages, vegetables.  the beef was super tender even though it only had some black pepper and a little bit of sea salt on, i could taste the strong beef flavor and so juicy! Desserts: OK! 從來未試過在香港食Outback 的牛扒，今日就來一個第一次吧！ 先講小食炸魷魚圈，很久無食，所以好期待！熱辣辣的又脆脆的外層，而內裏是軟硬適中的魷魚圈！非常香口！上面的相是USDA Prime NY Strip 特級紐約西冷牛扒，要半成熟，牛肉香濃，有豐富的肉汁, 10安士真的很有份量，好在我同老公一人一半，個黑椒汁也非常香濃，但又不太辣，跟牛扒的味道配合得剛剛好！ 但我們對個焗薯就不太滿意，因為size細，配料少！椰菜沙津就有太濕！黑糖包好味！外脆內軟！本來蔬菜沙律是一般的,  但個藍芝士沙律醬就令一個普通的沙律變成非常高級，兼美味非常！甜品是布朗尼雪糕新地，Outback的愛歡迎甜品，一見到大大碟又大大份的雪糕就已經非常興奮。布朗尼有香濃的朱古力味，跟雲尼拿雪糕一起吃，perfect taste!一定會再與Outback 相會！…Read More

I had a quick lunch by myself at TST this afternoon.  I came across to this little Fog Bar and Restaurant and saw that their lunch combo was only $38! Not a bad deal at all, so I gave it a try, plus I was in a hurry too! I ordered a Grilled Vegetable Sandwiches with hot lemon water.  The size of the sandwich was a pretty good side long sub.  I could smelled the grilled vegetable once it was placed in front of me.  I opened it up to see what inside, and I saw tomato, grilled eggplant, red onion, olives, grilled green bell pepper and melted cheese.  how exciting!   The flavor was great, the vegetable was perfectly grilled and had nice smoky flavor.  Everything inside this sandwich was yummy and the bread was soft and hot.  It was really a good deal!  Their lunch menu includes different kinds of sandwiches and pasta dishes.  …Read More
