香港少有日式燒肉店, 全港我諗得兩間, 一間係和宴, 另一間就係盛八, 但和宴就走高價路線, 盛八比較平民化。其實日本同台灣都好流行燒肉店, 早幾年去台北都試過"育顧龍", 全店用真炭爐, 一班人圍住個爐坐"他他咪"吹下水, 大杯啤酒, 不知幾過癮。不過香港條例問題, 當然唔可以用炭爐, 盛八個爐裡面就用陶瓷, D 火會直接燒紅個陶瓷, 而D 火唔會直接燒係肉上面, 據講效果近似炭燒。食日本燒肉同韓燒最大分別就係日本燒肉唔會一早醃定D肉,而係到你order 既時候先輕輕醃下, 所以材料靚唔靚決定味道質素。盛八既牛脷同和牛(特價中)都幾正。Overall,地方環境幾好, 唔會坐得好迫, 而價錢中上, 大概預$150-$200 一位。…Read More

見尋日兩份報紙介紹呢間黃埔新開既食店, 所以同朋友去試一試。夜晚8 點左右去到無訂檯, 食客唔多, 裝修新派企理, 有多部LCD 電視。打開菜牌, 招牌客家菜唔多, 夾雜大量廣東同海鮮類菜式, 價錢亦唔算平;黎到當然主打試佢客家菜, 叫左鹽焗雞半隻, 客家煎豆付, 黃酒炖土雞, 同埋漁湯浸高山菜(即娃娃菜)。幾味菜其實都非常一般, 雞無乜特別, 豆付唔夠滑, 黃酒炖土雞就幾香幾好味, 漁湯既鮮味都可以。埋單四個菜, 一支啤酒, 二個白飯合共$29x 。順帶一提, 客家三代屬於新光酒樓集團, "三代"之名其實無意思既, 只係Gimmick, 好似乜乜姑爺一樣。…Read More

因西村名氣, 星期日晚兩個人黎食, 現場環境裝修無什特別, 大概有五, 六檯客, 唔算好熱鬧。免費送上前菜五小碟, 做得精緻同好味, 贊! 上星期五九點幾先收工, 於是又拉一班同事一齊去福來居牛記食飯, 呢間飯店雖然位於旺角太子後街當中, 但每晚依然非常旺場, 坐街既都擺住六七張檯。其實之前已經黎過兩三次, 但一直以為都係食街坊小菜出名, 最近經雜誌介紹之後先知原來海鮮都係耍家, 因為老闆每日都會親自去魚販到揀貨, 保證好野先入, 唔靚寧願唔賣。一坐底先奉上免費例湯,青紅蘿蔔煲豬骨, 讚! 今次黎到即刻就去門口一排發泡膠箱到睇下有乜海鮮食, 眼見有蜆, 扇貝, 聖子, 蝦, 蟹, 同各式魚類等大路海產。最後只係叫左蜆同聖子, 因有同事唔係太好海產; 豉椒炒蜆, 炒得好香夠鑊氣,蜆鮮甜無沙, 個豉椒汁尤其好味, 味道同以前細路時食過既大牌檔一樣, 甜中帶辣, 呢味一定要試。粉絲蒜蓉蒸聖子, 聖子係大隻果種,鮮甜爽口。期間見到有不少食客都有叫蒸魚, 相信魚應該都抵食。其實食海鮮除左要新鮮之外, 價錢實惠亦非常緊要, 呢到做太子大角嘴街坊生意, 賣既都係街坊價錢。另外我地亦叫多幾味小菜, 雞亦都係呢到既招牌野, 有白切雞同霸王雞, 我就較喜愛霸王雞, 可惜今次覺得隻雞有D過熟, 上兩次食就好D。咕嚕肉都可以一試, 用半肥瘦豬肉同新鮮菠蘿。呢到既豉油皇炒麵亦做得唔錯, 好多檯客人都有叫到。總之黎呢到食飯, 小炒夠鑊氣, 海鮮價錢公道, 值得推介。…Read More

朋友推介登龍街有間好正既車仔麵, 昨日自己一個人經過果頭就專登去試一試, 街仔短短但有兩間車仔麵舖, 行完兩間睇過唔知邊間先係, 但一間無人, 一間坐滿人咁滯, 唔駛問都知去食邊間喇。食車仔麵, 一定食車仔麵三寶:「豬紅, 豬腸, 蘿蔔」加油麵, 再黎支支裝忌廉。麵一送到黎, 湯底已經好特別, 一般湯底係深啡色, 但呢到既湯底係深黑色(好似老抽咁黑), 即刻飲啖試下, 冶味中帶少少甜同辣, 正喎; 試豬大腸, 大腸用鹵水醃到好入味, 爽口唔韌, 乾淨, 好正既大腸! 豬紅又係好正, 脆滑得黎又唔會一夾即散; 蘿蔔清甜, 有蘿蔔味, 無渣, 揀手貨; 連油麵都好正, 軟韌程度剛好, 唔似好多其他地方D油麵發到淋哂。好耐未好過咁好味既車仔麵喇, 食完真係好滿足!可惜仲未去過車品品, 未能一評高低。試過車品品既食家, 不防試下新記比較一下。…Read More

昨晚跟朋友一起到這裡火鍋, 而吸引之處就是這裡的特價大閘蟹。這裡由六時至九時大閘蟹賣$16.8 一隻, 聲稱貨源來自老三陽, 足五兩一隻; 早前聽朋友說, 自己不太相信, 那有又好又便宜的東西。試過後, 又真的發覺沒話好說, 蟹是應該足秤, 羔亦充沛, 唯獨肉質不是很鮮甜。當然$16.8 一隻不能要求太多了, 例如醋還是最好自己帶來,他供應的有點怪, 薑茶亦欠奉。至於服務招呼只是不過不失, 火鍋配料湯底也是普通貨色, 不值一提。就是$16.8 一隻大閘蟹足以令你來試他一試!…Read More

因為"無間道","爭分奪秒"關係令呢間隱蔽於土瓜灣既火鍋店得以暴光, 加上以炭火打邊爐可能觸犯消防條例(唔肯定),舖位亦不在顯眼地方, 需要穿過一條又濕又暗既冷巷, 衛生情況未必人人可以接受, 總之就係大牌檔格局。呢度好玩之處除左炭爐打邊爐外, 仲可以炭爐燒野食; 黎過呢到兩次, 兩次都係開兩個爐, 一邊火之餘一邊可以燒下蜆, 雞翼, 雞腎等。火鍋材料方面, 手切肥牛有水準, 但墨魚滑就好唔掂, 鵝腸新鮮肥美, 仲有好多其他食物包括海鮮; 湯底亦有多款選擇, 一般都係$40 - $50, 試過番茄薯仔牛肉湯唔錯,佢無落茄膏, 感覺清D天然D。黎呢到打邊爐就要預左時間耐D, 因為炭爐關係, 火力唔係咁強, 再加埋又燒下野食, 起碼玩你兩三個鐘頭, 好在呢到又唔會趕客, 夜晚開到零晨4點, 消費又唔貴, 三個人飲埋啤酒大概都係$130/人。不過記住唔好著咁靚去, 如果唔係件衫會吸左好大陣炭燒味。香港用炭火打邊爐已經瀕臨絕跡, 襯仲有既時候大家不防體驗一下。…Read More

娥姐..... 一個聽朋友們說了很久的名字: 好味, 需早預定, 價錢不平, 最少一圍,種種.... 為娥姐帶上神秘色彩; 剛過去星期天終於可以將她神秘面紗揭開。確實娥姐位置真的有點神秘, 因就算有地址也不容易找到, 加上難以想像這靜街裡有似飯局的地方。據娥姐說, 她一晚只做兩主人家, 她有兩層地方, 兩主人家各佔一層保證不受其他人騷擾。訂位不算太難, 我早三星期己經沒問題, 出席前一星期娥姐會再主動聯絡相談菜單內容及確定人數, 一般一圍十二人, 每圍最平大概要$3900 (視乎菜單內容), 酒可自攜, 她亦有啤酒(生力) 汽水供應。桂花炒素翅- 蛋炒得滑,配合桂花香味及素翅和芽菜口感, 好味.蜜味鴨胸- 鴨胸半肥瘦帶煙燻香味, 送酒一流好事鬆生菜包- 要欣賞刀功及材料份量配合, 想不到生菜包可以這麼出色豉椒炒七日鮮球- 本想吃老虎斑兩食, 但最近雪茄毒又再出現, 最後改了這個菜。七日鮮魚也, 一般為手掌大小, 能起肉炒球, 師傅刀功是也蝦子柚皮- 不用多說, 這是心機菜花膠螺頭老雞火喉湯- 湯清味濃夠火喉子羌菠蘿崛雞- 精髓在子羌及菠蘿, 雞反而一般; 娥姐說過了八月十五便不做此菜,是我一直堅持而她又找到子羌才有幸一試。咸蛋黃炒蟹- 感覺油了一點荷葉飯- 好味!!!陳皮紅豆沙- 已經跟娥姐提出有人因不好陳皮而減份量, 但依然可吃出陳皮蓉那份甘香。沙是真的沙, 因娥姐已經將紅豆去皮, 試過這個紅豆沙, 你還信街外那些紅豆沙嗎? 他們應改叫紅豆糖水, 不能叫作沙!講真抵唔抵食就見仁見智, 雖然材料不是很名貴, 但欣賞食物的味道及做菜的心機, 加上人家提供一個場地, 可大笑大喝不用怕影響其他人, 我們可由七時吃至十二時才散。…Read More

一間世界赫赫有名的餐廳, 2000年被美國Hotel 雜誌評選為"one of the five best hotel restaurants in the world of the decade"; 亦夾著全港最靚景觀及最好法國餐廳之名, 在我人生裡總想會它一會。其實餐廳不算太大, 裝修是歐洲古典味, 大概只有五張檯是window seats, 現場有琴師不停彈奏音樂, 氣氛有Fine Dining 感覺, 但覺得檯與檯之間稍為近一點。雖然是星期一晚, 生意不錯, 大部份為外國人; 侍應及侍餐服務都有水準, 唯獨覺得欠缺一點親切感; 法藉經理在場但全晚沒有過來招呼一句, 大廚亦沒有出來巡場。是晚點了set dinner, 如果吃Duck Liver 的話每位$950, 不吃的話只需$800, 另每度菜有wine 配搭就每位再加$500。2001 d'Arenberg The Dead Arm Shiraz 即場開$750, 曾問過關於開瓶費, 餐廳沒有正面回答, 只是說每人平均酒水消費滿$250, 之後免收開瓶費。食物質素不用多說, 兩個字形容: 好食, 賣相亦一流, 甚至乎main course 的side dish 亦非常好味。甜品亦非常出色。唯一感覺有點瑕疵的地方是上Main Course 前那道refreshment: Watermelon Sobert, 做得過甜refresh 效果不大, 加上西瓜味很假, 若果換上荔枝或青提子會好得多。說到尾其實比我想像中有少少失望, 因沒有什麼驚為天人, 考慮它的價錢, 人生試一次便足夠了。相對之下, 我個人較喜愛Scala !…Read More
