Booked this restaurant because of the credit card discount. And the May fair dinner sounds good. Looked into the review and said the view is fantastic. Ok. Looks perfect for celebrating Mother's Day and I can buy flowers from the nearby flower market.
My father arrived the restaurant first around 19.25 and was arranged to sit in a "temporary extended" seat, which is very near to the reception, around 40 metres apart. There were many people passed by throughout the meal :(No beautiful view. Distant from the window. My mother asked how early the table needed to be booked. The manager said one month prior. 
(But there was a walk-in customer came and can sit near the window aisle in the second round)
The roof is not high and you can see many pipes. Although there were candle lights, my mood was really bad.
It's just like eating an expensive French meal in a noisy karaoke pub.....
Wrote comments next to the food photos. Besides, we waited nearly 2 hours for the main dish whilst it were the second or even third round customer left. And disappointing is the manager never arrange us to sit near the window to enjoy the view even nobody was sitting there. The staff disappeared after serving our main dish. Nobody remember to give us dessert until we asked. Poor service.
No next time. Highly priced dinner with low value and average service.

仲要2個鐘後交枱, 好怕這種情況發生。好好彩, 7.00 去到厚褔街的棷林閣, 不用等位 (座位也多), 可以看到街景, 又坐得舒適~ :) 仲要不收切餅費!~ (讚!)看到隔桌的豬手飯, 第一個感覺是, "嘩!" 好大份同好吸引呀~~~$98係超值!! 由於全部也是女仔, 所以3個人食都夠! 不過卡路里就...... 但壽星女好高興, 所以大家也吃得很開心, 最終當然是有剩, 所以打包走。晚餐都好實惠, 有湯, 餐包, 主菜 (飯,意粉或薯菜), 飲品。5個人叫了三個主菜(豬手,軟殼蟹加豬扒 及 三文魚扒加燒春雞半隻) 都有剩, 覺得服務又好, 食物很不錯(少又地有不少伴蔬菜), 又可以坐下放鬆聊天, 不用擔心時限問題, 相當愉快的一晚!~
