有咩辦法,可以喺幾個鐘內食勻名古屋代表美食同淺嚐飛騨牛?答案係去半島今佐 IMASA 幫襯佢哋最新推出嘅『名古屋、飛驒高山自助餐』。坐低,先嚟一杯隨餐附送嘅名古屋特產柚子清酒,冰涼怡人柚子香流入喉頭,忠誠履行開胃嘅本份。睇睇自助餐桌上嘅陣容,款式唔算特多,但有心思有特色。前菜如鰻魚玉子卷、茄子田樂(麵豉茄子)同芋頭芋絲煮賣相精緻,食味亦不俗,特別喜歡小芋頭,軟滑入味,同我好鍾意嘅寧波小芋艿有異曲同工之妙。紅麵豉蜆湯香氣馥郁,不太鹹,味道剛剛好。 蠔雑炊睇嚟都好吸引,但要留肚所以冇食。雖然名古屋喺內陸,當地不以海產為主食,但唔駛擔心,香港嘅自助餐又點會冇sashimi?放眼一看海膽油甘魚魷魚皇帝蟹帆立貝吞拿魚三文魚甜蝦劍魚赤貝列陣,特別欣賞海膽用上紫海膽,入口鮮甜零苦味,帆立貝甜蝦亦食得出係好料。壽司有油甘魚吞拿魚火炙三文魚火炙鯛魚火炙比目魚蟹棒,一件都冇食,因為已經被隨餐送嘅兩件飛騨牛壽司KO咗。 飛騨牛肉色鮮明,紋理清晰油花均勻,一啖夾入口,脂香四溢但不膩,肉質有彈性亦比一般神戶牛更富肉味,配合適口嘅壽司飯,兩件真係唔多夠喉;只係醒起仲有大把嘢未食,惟有同自己講少吃多知味,再奮起出去掃其他嘢。跟住食咗飛騨牛照焼手巻 (仲有其他如海老天婦羅手巻、地鶏沙拉胡麻手巻、 三文魚、三文魚籽胡麻葱手巻等等,不過冇試)、飛騨牛忌廉餅 、燉飛騨牛展、土手味噌炸串、手羽先唐揚、 豆干野菜配朴葉味噌,欣賞味道完全同當地一樣嘅忌廉餅,更激讚煮得異常入味鬆軟嘅燉飛騨牛展,絕對係不能錯過。主菜三選一,有名古屋風鰻魚飯兩吃、地鶏味噌鍋同紅麵豉炸豬排揀,個人口味覺得炸豬扒稍薄略乾,不及鰻魚飯誘人。地雞係名古屋名物,要體驗當地人口味可以揀呢個,雖然我更懷念生雞肉刺身。戰至甜品,胃容量已差不多到頂,但真係抗佢唔到飛騨蜜桃雪芭同飛騨蘋果雪糕嘅魅力,結果連盡兩球,吐出幾口胃氣作結。同場加映:有美食又點可以冇酒作伴?加328蚊,可以任飲天領「純米大吟醸」,甘甜而且米香醇滑唔剌喉,係飛騨牛菜色嘅好朋友。…Read More

晌Roll 0既食評提到Ceres蛋卷, 有幾好食其他食家都講得好詳細, 冇補充. 反而想推一推佢地所有口味0既方包, 冇錯, 係所有 ! 我最鍾意0既合桃方包鬆軟香口, 淡淡的鹹味很"優雅" (我知0甘形容塊包有D怪, 但的確係我immediate食後感), 合桃足料又處理得好, 冇苦唔益保留合桃原味. 提子麥包有肉桂香氣, 仲有紅豆芝士黑糖唔同款式, 樣樣都唔錯. 差不多放工時間去買最好, 新鮮出爐PS 店子卷蛋以外0既cake雖然樣靚, 但食味其實唔係幾得. 重點應係各式麵包…Read More

如此卷蛋, 未能欣賞

食cake, 我向來是比較喜歡簡單款式的, 即係卷蛋清蛋糕蜜糖蛋糕雪芳蛋糕之類. 一來是因為此等簡單款式能突出材料原味, 二來是坊間太多餅店眼高手低售賣所謂的精緻花巧款式 (例如甚麼紅桑子雜梅朱古力mousse熱情果開心果opera之類) 味道balance唔到無晒focus. 所以知道有卷蛋專門店就梗係要會一會啦. 一口氣試0左朱古力栗子同黑芝痲口味...吓, 0甘0既卷蛋...真係好難話好食囉...死因係蛋糕質感乾硬, 濕潤度不行, 本來可解釋為蛋的比重高故而較"結實", 但可惜味道方面亦是無甚蛋味(朱古力的那件不覺很有朱古力味, 栗子的也不很栗子, 黑芝痲的那件還好, 總算性格鮮明)... 店子火起來, 只能感歎一句傳媒影響力真大.其實簡單一件卷蛋, 好多屋邨餅店如占美豪華都做得好過呢度(仲平幾倍, 幾蚊雞件咋) 如果要精緻版, Ceres都唔錯, 鬆化有蛋奶香. …Read More

重回開飯的第一篇, 選擇寫HUGO'S, 因在小妹心中它有無可取代的位置話說HUGO'S賣的是歐陸菜, 較諸現今流行的意菜是沒有那麼"潮", 也或不及法菜的精緻, 但就是踏實不花巧, 講究材料及基本工, 故而襟興. 它的Roasted US Prime Rib當年可說是全港做得最好的. 要知道燒牛肉不同於一般餐廳出售的牛扒, 完全是兩回事. 要吃質素好的牛扒在香港並非難事, 加上生熟程度控制恰當便可 (雖然大部份餐廳連這個也做不好) 但燒牛肉則是需時慢煮烹調的, 加上HUGO'S餚製的配汁, 放諸今時今日的香港也是無出其右. 其他經典菜如龍蝦湯, 時令野味, Classic crepes suzettes Grand Marnier 亦有水準... 只是重開後一切能否保持?2次lunch + 1次dinner下來的答案恐怕是叫人有點失望了. 龍蝦湯及牛肉他他力保不失, 主菜的黑胡椒牛柳則普普通通, menu上的新items亦太行貨無驚喜(三文魚?和牛?不如俾番games 我好過) 大件事的是燒牛肉走樣了!! 要具體說明點走樣大抵就是以前叫WELL-DONE 都好好食唔覺鞋口有渣, 但依家叫MEDIUM RARE 都唔OK, 味淡有渣. 係因為冇0左個炭爐? 材料改用Australian 而非US Beef? 大廚轉0左? 確實原因唔知, 只可惜在香港能食到歐式燒牛肉的地方恐怕是歸零了...…Read More
