是晚去九龍城買泰菜材料, 順道於此晚飯, 媽媽想吃火鍋但又要坐得舒服, 但這裡的火鍋店多是舊式食肆……最終選了九龍城廣場地庫的“私房窩”。此店有別於傳統火鍋店的擠逼嘈吵, 裝修雅致, 配以木製傢俱, 而且卡位頗多, 更設獨立電視; 燈光昏暗柔和, 感覺悠閒, 予人舒適的進食空間。點菜後, 侍應便送上調味架讓客人自由組合, 其中最特別是店方自製的XO醬, 有濃濃的海味香, 別處少有! 湯底款式多, 心大心細後, 最終選了鴛鴦湯底; 沙嗲湯底夠濃, 而且好香花生味; 瑤柱火腿冬瓜湯亦沒有欺場, 金華火腿跟瑤柱味道鮮香, 原本而為會蓋過了冬瓜的味道, 但吃下才知冬瓜本身好清甜, 不要錯過啊!冰鎮螺片 – 螺片顏色較深, 應是以汁料浸煮過才切片奉客, 口感爽滑卻不失鮮味 和牛牛柳粒 - 肥瘦度適中, 甘香嫩滑; 不似一般牛柳粒般愈灼愈靱蚌花蚌 - 口感爽脆帶鮮味美國肥牛 / 本地肥牛 – 兩者均充滿油脂, 雪花分佈平均, 甘香嫩滑, 而且牛味極濃白鱔片 – 厚身彈牙, 沒有泥味, 只嫌切功稍差, 件頭較大脆炸腐皮 - 即叫即炸, 新鮮熱辣帶豆香, 可蘸泰式雞醬吃; 或浸湯兩秒即起, 入口仍有少少鬆化, 口感特別墨魚滑 – 賣相雪白, 可惜質感鬆散不彈牙, 應是沒做手撻的步驟, 失準之作脆肉鯇魚片 - 新鮮爽脆, 厚切更添口感日本豚肉 - 肥瘦度剛好, 肉味濃郁炸魚皮 – 雖是來貨, 但質素不差; 魚皮薄而大塊, 上粉不多, 浸湯後仍不失脆口皇帝菜/小白菜/油麥菜(沒相) –色澤翠綠, 新鮮沒爛葉雲吞/水餃 – 店家即日新鮮包製, 真材實料又大隻稻庭烏冬 –幼身有靱度, 蘸滿沙嗲湯後更好味砂鍋蒜頭生啫雞 - 侍應在客前以熱鍋生啫嫩滑鮮雞, 頓時香氣四溢, 薑蔥蒜頭與芫茜的香味融為一體, 配搭完美竹蔗芧根 –略甜, 但仍不失竹蔗的清, 配火鍋最夾反沙芋 –雖是以糖包裹著芋頭, 但甜而不膩, 真沒想到平凡小店也可做出這麼好吃的甜品侍應態度友善, 主動加湯、換碟及添水; 最值得一讚是會定時幫湯底「撇油」, 加湯時又以手擋著, 不會淺到客人, 這種殷勤招呼, 比大店更貼心, 無得頂!見鄰枱2人點了一人鍋分食($88), 價錢平, 用料靚, 比“大XX”更化算! 望望餐牌, 原來還設有午餐及下午茶時段, 有泰式飯、湯粉之類供應, 真係應有盡有。 整體而言, 這裡種類繁多而且食材新鮮, 火鍋小菜同樣滋味有水準, 環境好又可以靜靜地傾計, 絕無趕客情況出現。 只可惜是晚肉蟹沽清而未能一嚐; 趁此店還未爆場, 快快盤算下次試她的“招牌黑椒炒蟹”。…Read More

因為儲印花吃花膠翅的優惠剛好到期, 所以這個月共來了“八喜”三次,其實餐牌內想吃的都吃過了, 看來會隔一段長時間才會再來~~口水雞 - 雞肉滑, 只是味道不夠濃辣小籠包 - 皮略厚, 幸好湯汁仍豐富八喜招牌炸蝦卷 - 外皮香脆不油膩, 蝦肉不算彈牙但肉質結實胡椒餅 - 外皮鬆化足餡料多, 有胡椒香沙律大蝦窩巴 – 特別又好食花膠竹笙雞絲翅–可能是送的, 所以材料少, 味道馬虎, 而且不夠熱荷包煎蚵仔–上次試過的蚵仔砵不錯, 所以轉試這個; 以蛋皮包著上粉炸了的蚵仔及香蔥, 故粒粒散著, 有別於一般的蚵仔煎沙茶牛肉炒河–有鑊氣, 味道好, 只是河粉份量較少環境寛敞, 中式裝修, 卡位頗多, 以射燈營造優雅氣氛, 但這也令到冷氣不足; 侍應有禮有耐性。台式風味但不正宗, 好像以廣東雲吞弄雲吞雞; 三杯雞竟用雞柳, 九層塔亦下得不夠, 完全失真! 不過始終是美心出品, 以賣相、環境及服務搭夠, 有一定水準, 亦不失為晚宴之選! …Read More
