Friday is the best day of the week and even better,  I enjoyed a great meal in TST Social Place with my friends. To be honest, there is a lotof Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong but not many are great, especially for modern Chinese cuisine. However, this restaurant surprised me with good quality food and reasonable price, not to mention it was my second visit to Social Place. We ordered Signature king pigeons and hairy carbs as they are the most famous dishes here. The taste is extraordinary and this is the best king pigeon I have ever tried in the world. Also, when we saw the “Flamin-pie”, which is pineapple and beef, we really wanted to try and it didn’t disappoint me at all! There are 4 of us, and we ordered several salads and mains. Pan fried foie gras is always my favorite, and I have also ordered the black pork chop.Scallops salad came first, and it is pan fried, together with the blakc truffle sauce. Scallops are quickly cooked, so the time management of doing the dish was very important. It came with a golden-brown cover, taste a little bit salty, which I guess was the seasoning, the raw taste of the scallops came out afterwards. The fiber and muscle tissue was well kept, and it wont' overcook. The black truffle sauce, was great too, which give more taste to the scallops. Together with the salad vegetables, it gave me a fresh feeling, and more eager to eat other dishes!! The foie gras was gold in color, well-fried, while it was not oily at all, together with the home make raspberry sauce, which tastes a bit sour and sweet, eliminated the oily feel builds inside the foie gras. I didn't like foie gras actually, but it really taste good with the raspberry sauce, the sour and sweetness merge perfectly with it, and it is good in smell, and great in appearance. Gold brown foie gras and the red raspberry sauce construct a stunning appearance for the dish!Well, for the main, it is really my first time to taste a “black pork chop”. It looks a bit darker in color than the normal pork, and people said, it taste richer! I put a slice into my mouth, and I DEFINITELY LOVE IT! The meat is tender, and it’s so true for the richer taste!!!!!! Esp. together with my fav honey mustard sauce, the dish is simply a perfect match! Knowing that our beloved high school teacher, Mr. Fung is a fan of Chinese food, I particularly made a reservation for this restaurant a week in advance to make sure we can have the table tennis seat (another reason of going).We have got 4 people that night with 4 dishes.Having said that this little mushroom style bun is popular so this time it is a must-try item for sure.It smells really good and the bread was covered by chocolate icing and it was so puffed. The filling is rich of truffle and mushroom inside.For the main course, we had these sweet and sour fried fish and kale.The fish was so cripsy and its sourness really stimulates our appetites. It was fried with some seabass and gave some extra texture to the dish.As for the kale, we chose to serve in soup, though u can serve with ginger.The stereotype of kale is bitter and hard with a bit chewy. However, this kale was beyond our expectation. It was tender, crunchy and fresh. The interesting part is that they actually served in dragon beard style! You can see the skillfulness of the chef in this traditional Chinese characteristics.Even though we are not a sweetooth, but to end a meal with some exquisite sweet treats is essential. I was so happy that my friend Carson reserved a table for the dinner with me last night. It is my first time to visit Hong Kong and I enjoy it very much. Since I have heard of the name of “Gourmet Paradise” of Hong Kong for long, I asked Carson to bring me to a traditional Chinese restaurant to try the classic gourmet, which is very famous in Hong Kong.The shark fin soup is nice and Carson said that it is a very traditional dish in Chinese style wedding dinner. I love the texture of the fin soup as it seems having so much. I have never tasted it before and I love it so much!! The most impressing dish was the “Skin of grapefruit”, it was cooked with “ha zhi”! I love this fresh dish as I haven’t ever tried this special “Skin of grapefruit”. Its texture was quite memorable as I can’t think of any food having similar texture. I don’t think that I can have it in any other country out of Hong Kong! It is amusing. Ribs with strawberries were wonderful and the taste of Strawberry was merged with the ribs thoroughly. Since there weren’t too many bones, I can focus on the taste of the ribs. Very fruity and refreshing dish! Chicken in top-class soya sauce is a traditional Chinese dish and I love this type of cooking method and the sauce for this Chinese style chicken as it is totally different from the way used to cook the food in my country.I was so surprised that I can have a try of black truffle, which was put on the top of the prawn on a deep fried toast, in a traditional Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. A short hang out with my friend today. As he works in Mong Kwok and can only spare about an hour for me for a little chat. Haha!! He brings me to The Sky Bar where is so close to his work place. What a good place for a little chat as they provide comfortable sitting areas and warm lighting. We just ordered a plate of oyster and two drinks. 6 oysters and two drinks is good enough for us. They provided oyster from 6 countries but we only love those from Australia and France. The oyster are really fresh and taste good! Nearly the same as the one I ate in Australia last summer. But as we are too busy eating so I just forgot to take photos However, I did take photos for our drinks. It is called happiness! In Chinese it is called as 喜! We just chose it from their special set called 喜怒哀樂 whose name impressed me so much at the first place. I have to say it is really special and nice!!! I had dinner with my family and relatives few days ago. As most of the aunties and uncles prefer having something tradittion so thats why we are choosing Tai Hei Hing as our final choice! We had ordered a lovely set that night! haha what a wonderful dinner !!!! Here is the set we ordered.The chicken wing is really tasty , with the taste of wine.. all I can say is they are the most perfect match ever!!!!This strawberry rib is my all night favourite. Strawberry sauces is sweet and sour witch makes the rib so nice!! soft and fresh :)Fish tripe!!! The sauce was really rich. Few days ago, I ate at Café de Coral for dinner with friends. Winter is coming and they launched out a new hotpot menu. Haha, as we have already waited the hotpot time for so long, we droped in without thinking once we walk pass Café de Coral and saw the hotpot menu. And the most important thing is it is cheap in here to have Hotpot!We ordered three Hotpots in total. Two in Sattay flavor and one in Pork flavor. We also paid extra money for extra beef as they only got few pieces in a box! Today I just having a movie with my girlfriend, after the movie she asked for a dessert so we just droped into Yo mama. To be frank, I don’t really like eating yogurt and prefer having a Häagen-Dazs. But as my girlfriend requested I have no reason to say no. So here we go! We ordered Yakult, Green Tea and Taro flavour. I liked Green Tea flavour the most as it is creamy and contains so much milk. I love having dinner at Pepper Lunch. Because of the Tenpan style. I enjoying stiring the dishes and love the smells of the dish comes out when you mixes the rice and sause together. The food is hot enough which makes it much more nicer.The Black Pepper Beef Rice is my favoutite dishes! It cost only $39 that you can enjoy your meal together with soup or drink.
