上星期,我們兩個人一起去了這裏試菜。受疫情拖累,大家都少了外出吃飯,市道真的變得很差。希望情況盡快改善吧。到潮州菜館,當然要吃滷水菜式。我們先點了滷水豬耳拼鵝片。豬耳軟而有爽口,鵝片味濃而不膩,且有豆腐調和,是不錯的開胃菜。之後,我們還試了店家推介的糖醋雙面黃,也是一道經典的潮州菜,而且在家難以做到,在餐廳吃就最好了。店員提醒一定要趁熱食。新鮮煎香的麵餅,外脆內軟,分別沾上砂糖和豉油,既甜且鹹的感覺十分難忘。雖然略為熱氣,但令人非常滿足。最後一味是蕃茄烙,店員說,簡單來講就是蠔餅的製法,不過把蠔改成蕃茄,感覺更健康。這味菜很香口,不過可喜的是仍然保存了蕃茄的味道,不俗不俗。三道菜份量十足,兩個人吃完,再也吃不下其他東西了。希望店家渡過目前的經濟逆境,下次可以再試其他菜式。…Read More

每次去東涌吃飯,幾乎都是來這裡,差不多有十次。必點的包括燒鵝(住在深井的親戚說這裡的好味過深井的),皮脆肉滑,不是太油,鵝香濃郁,食過番尋味。另外必叫的還有魚湯魚肚浸勝瓜(清清地之選,食完好舒服,好味過魚腐浸勝瓜)、海三鮮蒸矮瓜(有咬口、超級鮮味)、蒜蓉粉絲鮮魷(蒜蓉粉絲本身無得輸,但魷魚非常可口鮮味,蒸比炸更食得出鮮味)、鯪魚粥(粥底又細又棉,難得的酒樓好粥)。不過!要數最驚為天人的一定是它的臘味煲仔飯,難能可貴之處是要老闆得閒親自下廚先有得食,大煲煲仔飯最為震撼,個煲大過兩個人頭,臘味的味道充分滲到飯裡,飯粒均勻,粒粒分明,不油不膩,要飯焦有飯焦,真的不得了,食完即刻暖笠笠。唔係賣廣告,純粹想推介啲菜式給大家。做街坊生意的餐廳,最值得支持 :)唯一係比較多人,一定要訂位,盡快落單,要碗要熱茶等有時要自己黎,廁所不太乾淨。但為左食好野,仲要咁抵,也無所謂啦!…Read More

超好味的越式法包!

大角咀終於有得食越式法包😍仲要係好!好!味!講真,我食過不少越式法包(包括越南的),要求不低,但這間一食真係食到誠意。傾落幾句,店主果然係由包,到扎肉,以至各項配料都係試過揀過先用,甚至特別訂製,每個包堅持新鮮製作,希望讓香港人都可以食到佢食過的滋味。我吃過很多越南包,味道是OK,但包太脆和硬,吃得不舒服,但這個剛剛好,每樣食材的味道也很出,又可以走辣,很合口味。不止越南包,仲可以配湯和堅新鮮的蔬菜小食,簡直價錢超值。尤其推介蘑菇湯,有家的味道和溫暖。老闆是個很努力、很有心的人,會不斷改進,認得你還會問你意見。我就係有份親身見證蘑菇湯進化的人。午餐時間不時會迫爆,老闆做不來也不會叫你白等,可能會叫你下次先黎,我的經驗係可以遲啲去,例如1:20pm,人潮就會散咁啲,仲可以慢慢吃,享受小店的清幽,青檸水仲要任飲,實在係大滿足! 好人的老闆知道你等得久,有時還會請你吃小菜,真係超有人情味。請大家多多支持小店!(細細聲講:店主仲係靚仔一名hahahahaha☺️)…Read More

首嚐波斯菜

自從去過土耳其、約旦、黎巴嫩等中東國家後,就對中東菜產生了很大的興趣,久不久就會想念。不過像這間餐廳所賣的波斯菜,則是第一次試。原來餐廳更聲稱它是香港第一間正宗波斯菜。那到底波斯菜是什麼?很欣賞餐牌內有詳細介紹。波斯文化歷史源遠悠長,更對印度及土耳其的菜式有深遠影響,難怪餐牌裡看見Naan也看見kebab。最特別是原來波斯菜對食物的概念也有寒熱之分,所以寒的飯,要加上烤肉、薑或番紅花(saffron)平衡番,這方面與中國菜也很似。餐廳小小的,所以不算坐得很舒服,但裝修簡單得來非常精緻,感受到老闆想宣揚波斯文化的心,女侍應服務也很細心周到。我們兩個人去吃,叫了一個前菜 Mirza Ghasemi,主要是煙燻茄子醬加蛋,再配烤餅,味道頗特別,不過最好味反而是個蛋。它的烤餅跟印度餐廳的不同,比較薄,值得一試。以為再叫一個Mixed Koobideh with Rice (又有羊加牛肉,同埋一個雞肉)就會夠,點知還是會意猶未盡。最終再叫了一個Saffron Joojeh Kebab with Naan,發現這才是最大的驚喜。畢竟餐廳最特別的是有番紅花的菜式,果然這個雞肉與之前那碟完全兩個level,肉汁非常鮮甜,雞肉也很嫩(跟之前那碟的雞肉完全不同),有種淡淡的卻很香的味道,連食之前那碟覺得很好味的蒜蓉醬也不用點了,相信就是番紅花的magic了。抬頭一看,所有肉都是新鮮烤的,難怪這麼有風味。連配菜沙律也比之前那碟的好味,果然是一分錢一分貨。後來睇番餐牌對波斯菜的介紹,果然跟我們的感受一樣,雖然同是中東菜,波斯菜的味道比較內藏subtle的,要慢慢的感受。如果你們跟我們一樣,為食又想慳錢,建議直接叫前菜、Saffron Joojeh Kebab加一個wrap,應該會比較划算 最後!必須要推介的是番紅花茶,個presentation超靚,仲可以試埋中東好出名的棗(而且算是好味的棗,不是求奇一啲cheap野),餐牌另外有一頁介紹番紅花的歷史好處,也很值得細閱 :)後記:原以為波斯菜與伊朗菜等同,但很幸運遇上餐廳老闆,原來是個巴基斯坦人,他斗正說餐廳賣的是波斯菜,所以不止伊朗,也包括他的家鄉,很高興這趟學到了新的知識也對波斯文化認識了多點。…Read More

驚喜上海菜

向來喜歡吃上海菜,不過一貫對於大型商場內的餐廳不抱任何期望,卻因此覺得這間餐廳頗為驚喜!我們一行8人來到餐廳,幸好可以訂座,不用等位,全程service也不錯,環境非常舒適。在大角咀lunchtime要找到有大檯、可以訂位、價錢可接受、食物又不錯的地方,真的不是那麼容易。叫了幾個前菜,包括小籠包、四喜烤麩,蒜泥白肉和清滋小排骨。蒜泥白肉以辣味為主,蒜蓉味缺乏,不過送飯都算OK;小籠包勝在新鮮,打開蒸籠時熱呼呼的,肉汁鮮甜;小排骨味道有點像醋排骨,口感不錯;烤麩則不過不失。要數最驚喜的是揚州炒飯。平時很多餐廳的推介菜式也不算特別好味,但這個揚州炒飯真的是很驚喜,很久沒有吃過這麼高質素的炒飯,一試難忘。原因在於它的飯粒粒分明,蛋絲細密且香味濃郁,也沒有麻木地靠鹹味去增加味道(很多其他餐廳炒飯都是這樣做,所以我近年已經很少叫炒飯),連飯內的小蝦仁居然也沒有雪味,吃得出師傅的心思,所以很抱歉,吃了一大碗才記得拍照。最後值得一提的是鍋塌豆腐,豆腐香滑,不知道為何覺得又脆又腍的質感很吸引,再加少許蔥絲,配搭得宜。餐廳價格不算十分便宜,一堆人吃好像比較划算。期待下一次到訪。…Read More
