中伏,無下次。食物同服務都同樣地差

今日行過銅鑼灣,係登龍街搵晏食,原本都想食龍門,但俾對面呢間餐廳個細細地既門口吸引左,睇一睇佢餐牌,好似正常,午市又85折,就入左去。點知返出黎時同女友齊聲講左句:中伏,無下次。(本篇無相,因為只想盡快離開)當時嗌左兩樣野:秘製牛舌丼、豚肉拉麵。首先係牛舌丼(原價$68,折後$58)啲牛舌尚算軟稔,厚切,但啲切法真係唔知想點,滾刀狀牛舌係咩玩法?可能我見識少。味道方面係.....好平凡嘅清湯腩咁嘅味,非常清淡,我望一望餐牌中「秘製」二字,笑左。至於啲飯除左有少少紫菜絲之外就係白飯,完全無汁,食落牛脷還牛脷,飯還飯,有人可能會話咁樣食物層次會好「分明」,我就會話咁樣真係好求其。再來豚肉拉麵(原價$78,折後$66),呢個更有趣。豚肉兩塊中size 厚切偏瘦,調味正常。不過啲拉麵就....一飲啖湯,okay明白,味精湯,係好typical 係日貨超市買到既豚骨湯包開成,咁唔使問啲麵都....一夾,真係,就係係超市見到真空包裝既即食拉麵。大家咁熟悉既味道我就唔洗多加評述啦。最後講講服務,由入去到走無聽到待應講一聲「唔該」或「多謝」,反而係我地次次都講。甚至去到埋單,我攞住張單同疊好既錢請位待應幫我埋左張單。果位待應小姐一聲不響走埋黎,我又講左次想埋單,佢竟然唔係接過我手上張單同錢,而係收起我枱上既一隻吉碗,然後轉身逕自走向收銀機,用眼神示意我跟佢行,我呆左一下,心諗:「咦?乜我爭你錢咩?」算啦,大家都有壓力,咁我自動波攞住張單同錢走向收銀枱,比左錢,啱數,又呆左一下,心諗「係呢個final moment,佢會唔會同我講句多謝呢?」當然,願望落空。走到出黎,心諗$60食碗清湯腩飯質素一定好過佢啲牛脷;$66 食碗高質拉麵未必可以,但要超越真空即食拉麵一定綽綽有餘(例如一般food court 既X番屋)。而且揀任何一樣都一定會聽到至少一句最基本既「多謝」。總結:中伏,無下次。…Read More

賺盡何恥?——過度商業化的惡果

當日與朋友去銅鑼灣,想說多年未到的翡翠拉麵小籠包世貿店好像搬了舖位(還是說裝修了?),不如去嚐嚐老味道。也就去了。但一入去首先失望在於格局:(,全部清一色卡位。當然卡位在這個寸金尺土的銅鑼灣地段的確可以令你充分利用到每一點空間,但翡翠拉麵小籠包的格調和品味是否就為了讓店內填滿客人而要開始仿效澳牛了?唉!算了。坐下來,餐牌放下,上面卻蓋著一張紅色的卡紙,似乎是個推廣優惠。一看,不錯啊👍。因為我對翡翠的餐牌價錢蠻熟悉的,而這套餐中的黑松露小籠包原價就是$98一籠,其他四道菜(除炒時蔬外)都應要平均$65一道,我心算一下這套餐原價應該是$400 上下了。既然有優惠,也就試一試吧,反正除了黑松露小龍包外,其它菜色都還合意。點了:涼拌海蜇,鎮江肴肉,糖醋雞球,蒜蓉炒莧菜(無得揀),清燉雞湯拉面,當然黑松露小籠包就是主角了。不一會,菜來了,咦?有點奇怪,原來前菜的雙併竟會如此細份,肴肉只有四件,海蜇也不過兩口。到糖醋雞球端上來,我又是一驚,雞球太少了點吧?也就五六塊?小籠包和湯麵倒是正常。我看著這些菜色哈哈一笑,不知是太過豪邁還是她心虛,一旁的女侍應竟然打了個突。先不算這雞球多少,就是前菜的份量經已讓這所謂「最紅優惠」餐單的原價變作$330 左右了,再加上雞球的份量,這「最紅優惠」恐怕只會是「最伏優惠」吧?其實如果真心想做優惠推廣,而且合作的是HSBC 這種大企業,何必還要如此吝嗇?做生意要賺也無可厚非,但也不必用推廣優惠作招徠,最後推廣是口號,額外賺你一筆才是真心。唉,翡翠拉麵小籠包淪落至此,可惜可惜。說回食物,黑松露小籠包非常好味,當中的黑松露下得恰到好處,不會太搶,湯汁鮮美。但其實不必把皮造成黑色吧,這反而令皮變厚了。肴肉略遜鼎泰豐,不過尚算上品,入口漸化。湯麵正常水準,雞骨一咬即化為粉,雞湯火侯十足。雞球酸甜適中,而且還是脆的。炒菜比較大份,但填不飽我因為目睹翡翠拉麵小籠包的淪陷而來的空虛。走時不禁慨嘆:「如今幾多商戶因發現港人奴性強烈而放棄格調尊嚴、不恥賺盡,多一間,未嫌多吧?」…Read More

今日放假,女友難得黎東區,同佢行下,去左藍灣。女友叫左個勝瓜什錦泡飯,我叫左個上海嫩雞煨米線。泡飯好快,三分鐘上到枱,大大碗,味道正常有味精,勝瓜新鮮,菌類菇類都夠味。但我碗米線就等左好耐,約莫20 分鐘 (正常7-8分鐘有得食是常識吧)。終於,米線上到枱,我已經餓到要食住女友碗野充飢。一望碗米線,心諗咩事。成個紅海咁,超多蕃茄。我眉頭一皺,馬上𥄫一𥄫張單,無錯咼,係落左一碗「上海嫩雞煨米線」,我舉手叫侍應,問係咪黎錯左,位侍應話去問問。一陣返黎,竟然同我講「上海嫩雞煨米線係有蕃茄」嘅。嘩我當堂嚇一跳!事關佢講既野係咁超乎常理,但佢又講得咁理直氣壯。咁我好客氣咁請佢可否入去廚房問問,佢有啲為難,但都去左。出到黎又有另一套說法,話:「因為最近廚房轉左師傅」又加一句:「碗米線你一係食,一係就同你取消左佢。」聽到呢到,我一向食完蕃茄先會發作嘅胃痛竟然俾佢引發左,伴隨少少怒意,谷左個笑容出黎同佢講:「咁取消佢啦唔該,因為我唔食得蕃茄架。」講完,我女友已經食完碗泡飯。渣渣林埋左張單,過隔離麥當勞買個包食好過。…Read More

今日行過東大街,見多左間粥舖,擺曬花,似乎開張,因為早兩日病左,仲口淡淡,不妨試試。買左個「招牌有錢佬靚粥」,除左有皮蛋咸蛋豬骨,仲有其他粥舖唔多見既瑤柱。等左十分鐘左右,見到好似係年輕人打骰,店面乾淨企理,好佩服。年輕人賣粥,因乜解究?lol返到去打開,色水唔錯,金黃色,睇得出咸蛋落足料仲煲到散,唔知煲左幾耐。食落粥底好綿,除左已經煲散左夾雜其中既皮蛋咸蛋同肉碎外,仲有少少新加落去既皮蛋粒同咸蛋粒做toppings,夠味。可惜無堂食。會再去。…Read More
